19/10/2025: The place is very nice and well-kept. The service is good but nothing special. The dishes are very minimal; on the menu they appear to be more tempting than what you can find on the table. I wouldn't return.

15/02/2026: We expected much more. I'll start by saying that I'd never been there, but a friend of ours had and had a great time. The food was good, but the service was poor, to say the least, for a restaurant that charges so much. We ordered four first courses and a Florentine steak; the cover charge includes a small appetizer. Throughout the service, our dishes weren't taken away, neither when the first courses nor the second courses arrived. We were the ones who passed the appetizer and first course plates to the waiters so they could bring the new dishes to the table. Unfortunately, the meat arrived very rare, almost raw, and the inside was cold. Once we put it back on the grill, I have to say it was truly excellent quality. The waiter only gave spoons to one person for dessert, and then we had to pass them around; there wasn't even an effort to provide them for each diner. We called the waitress, and she didn't even come to the table to ask what we needed; we had to speak from a distance. The bill was €380 for 4 of us, which we expected, but we didn't expect the service to be so poor, as if there were more of us.

26/08/2025: A truly charming place, this elegant inn nestled in an ancient farming village in the Collio Friulano region, just a stone's throw from Gorizia, near the splendid city of Aquileia and the Grado lagoon. Everything is perfect, from the meticulously designed furnishings in both the rooms and common areas to the friendly staff, attentive to guests' every need and full of valuable local information. The lush garden offers rare moments of relaxation, and the wine bar, where you can enjoy homemade wines, offers pleasant breaks, including aperitifs and organic tastings. It's a true pleasure to find establishments where the principles of hospitality are so alive. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

25/07/2025: The staff, especially Mr. Lorenzo, were outstanding, friendly, and helpful. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained, as was the bathroom. The simple dinner was delicious, especially when accompanied by an excellent Merlot from the hotel's own vineyard. We were in an emergency situation due to car trouble, and the staff's assistance was simply superb and deserves special thanks.

12/10/2025: Mrs. Elvira hosted us in her wonderful restaurant and prepared delicious dishes for us even though we hadn't booked. She was incredibly kind. I recommend everyone try this restaurant, but please note that it's open by reservation only.

19/10/2025: Arriving at Daur de Lune is always a pleasure, but finding the fireplace lit, warming the room with just the right amount of warmth while you dine... is simply perfect. A pampering experience that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is always excellent: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors. I've never participated in the themed evenings, but always in the "normal" lunches and dinners, which have always been a guarantee. Appropriate portions, excellent quality, and fair prices—a rarity these days. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and meticulously maintained: you can sense the passion and love for hospitality. One of those places you'll gladly return to, and every time you leave with a smile. Highly recommended! But you absolutely must book in advance, because it's no secret that you really enjoy yourself here.

08/02/2026: A historic place in the Monfalcone area, but unfortunately, I'll say it right away: it's a bit poorly managed. Good selection of beers, friendly but sometimes a bit listless staff, decent food (the pleskavica sandwich is far from Balkan-quality), and the atmosphere is truly charming. All in wood, it feels like a mountain cabin. It's a real shame, because with a little more effort, it could be a very popular place. Instead, I've been there three times recently, always half empty. I even wanted to go on a Saturday night (the place closes at 11 PM, which seems a bit early for a beer hall), so I showed up with three friends at 10:30 PM and the bartender greeted us, saying they were closing because there weren't any people and so they wouldn't let us in. I think this kind of management is detrimental, first and foremost, to the place itself. I truly hope things like this never happen again, otherwise I'll be forced to stop going. And it's a shame, as I said the place is really nice and has beautiful decor.

30/12/2025: Fish-based lunch. Everything was delicious! Very reasonably priced. I recommend it; the food is great!

18/09/2025: Bel locale ampio e luminoso, un ampio spazio all'aperto per i fumatori. Ampio parcheggio. Ingresso facile per disabili, non ho però fatto caso se c'erano posti auto a loro riservati. Da loro ho solo bevuto sia caffè che cappuccino, le brioches sembravano buone ma non credo che siano fresche di pasticceria. Ci son stato perché in attesa di sistemare la mia auto in un autofficina lì vicino.

23/09/2025: Discovering this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The location is spectacular, a terrace overlooking the valley crossed by the immense Tagliamento River. It's just a shame about the fog. The cuisine is interesting, showcasing local specialties. The service is good and fast. The price is fair.
