12/08/2025: The food and preparation are certainly high quality. I'm limiting myself to 3 stars because, unfortunately, I think the bill is too high. The dishes are also in line with the times, but if you include only cover charge, water, and two glasses of wine, we're at €21. See the receipt. This isn't an isolated case; unfortunately, it's a general trend in Italy. The concept of a "real osteria" is dying out. What a shame.

11/08/2025: Provato spinti dalla buona reputazione del locale. Purtroppo la serata è stata una delusione. Il locale è carino e l’atmosfera piacevole, ma questo non basta a compensare il resto. Alcuni piatti erano passabili, altri davvero sotto tono, con porzioni ridotte e sapori poco convincenti per il prezzo richiesto. Per un posto con questa fama ci aspettavamo più costanza e cura. Il servizio è stato altalenante: personale gentile, ma senza la giusta attenzione nei momenti chiave. I tempi tra una portata e l’altra sono stati lunghi e non sempre giustificati. Rapporto qualità-prezzo deludente: il conto è alto rispetto a quello che si trova nel piatto. In sintesi, un locale con potenziale ma che non riesce a mantenere le promesse. Non credo torneremo.

13/07/2025: We didn't eat well. We ate divinely!!! The paccheri allo scoglio were so good they were tearful, the fritto misto was stratospheric, the strawberry dessert with Chantilly cream—what more can I say? And Federico, who gives you exceptional advice and makes you feel at home. 20 stars

10/08/2025: The Ginger Italian is a real gem in Carshalton! Warm, welcoming service, delicious freshly cooked food, and a lively atmosphere. Great value, whether you’re dining in or getting a takeaway. Highly recommend

27/07/2025: Much better than I expected, the Ginger Italian is a well presented restaurant with a menu full of robust favourites. We were a party of nine, no complaints from anyone - if anything portions may be a little large for those with smaller appetites. Entertaining waiting staff. Reasonably priced.

Sweet and savory pastries and brioches, delicious pastries, fantastic cookies, and cakes are always excellent choices and a delight for the palate.... And we really appreciate the fact that you also use the To Good to Go app to avoid unnecessary waste.

13/08/2025: I found it very good, the waiters were friendly, professional, and very welcoming... The food was really good, and the chef was very talented. The welcome was very professional and they were good at making the customer feel at ease. Highly recommended, especially considering the price.

21/07/2025: A wonderful experience worth repeating! We had the pleasure of dining at this splendid restaurant on Saturday as a couple. We were pleasantly surprised from the moment the bread was presented to us, with a gold mention for the exquisite fresh butter. We then continued with an excellent selection of cured meats and a tartare appetizer, followed by a delicious first course of house-made passatelli with truffle and cream cheese. And finally, a dessert whose simplicity won us over with its delicate combination of milk and mint with mascarpone and a chocolate crumble that paired everything perfectly. The service was impeccable, both in terms of professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail. The price was absolutely fair for the quality, truly exceptional. We also had the pleasure of returning for an aperitif, and we reaffirmed the excellence and quality here, where we were served orecchiette with Roman broccoli. Super satisfied. What can I say? It's a shame we live far away, but if we could, we'd come back every weekend!

12/06/2025: Every aspect of our short stay was pleasant, starting with the warm and attentive welcome. The staff was extremely helpful and professional: it is clear how much they care about making guests feel at home. The cuisine is another strong point. We had a divine dinner on the hotel terrace. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with the essentials for a stay. Finally, the location is ideal for exploring the village and getting around on foot.

15/08/2025: Starting from the assumption that it's the best piadina I've ever eaten, I found the most comfortable atmosphere ever and was welcomed by a charismatic and engaging person. It goes without saying that he loves and knows his job (it's rare to find people who smile at their customers these days). Highly recommended! I've definitely found a trustworthy piadina shop!

01/08/2025: The "Slow Piada" piadineria is exceptional. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is impeccable. I would recommend anyone to have lunch or dinner here.
