Osteria Malabocca In Bagnacavallo

The quality and presentation of the dishes are impeccable to say the least. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow and the bill was very high. They certainly care about the customer, but for what they offered, it seemed excessive to me. Their tasting menus are definitely worth trying, but be prepared for the price.

Everything was delicious and of the highest quality. Even the amuse-bouche and the small pastries were very worth it.

A quality restaurant that doesn't offer the usual Romagna dishes, but rather focuses on innovation. The experience is excellent. A good wine list is available. The only drawback is that the water isn't in sealed bottles.

My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch after a medical visit. We had lunch at Osteria Malabocca. The food and service were excellent, the menu was unique. We will be back.

The restaurant is truly beautiful. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the exterior overlooks a historic garden. The dishes are excellent and presented with care and flair. The service is very friendly. The prices are a bit high, but justified by the excellent ingredients. However, the portions are rather small, so unless you choose the full menu, you'll be disappointed. This is why I gave it 4 stars.

An ambitious restaurant with a menu full of bombastic words. Lots of smoke, but also roast meat.

Small and welcoming, with a good selection of wines. The highlight is the chef's menus! There are three: meat, fish, and vegetarian. You can obviously choose à la carte, but I've always had the vegetarian menu. I've been there four times, in different months, specifically to try new dishes. I've never been disappointed; the dishes are refined, beautifully presented but not pretentious, and the flavors are evident (the chef is excellent at cooking vegetables, keeping them crunchy and delicious). My favorite dish is a bread basket with candied citrus, a delight I hope they'll bring back this fall, and the panzanella with Bloody Mary sauce! The desserts are also excellent! I can't wait to go back! A small update: they've moved, it's gorgeous... and like everyone else, they've raised the prices... So it's still a great option if you want to try unique flavors!

Great staff, great food and location!

They recently moved to their new location, and the atmosphere is anything but a simple osteria. Beautiful, well-set tables in a large, rustic yet refined room with illuminated walls and bottles of wine that add a touch of class. Very friendly staff, quick service, and excellent dishes with a variety of menu options. It's quite expensive for an osteria, with the cheapest dish costing €15 and a cover charge of €4.

New location, nice, clean. Service a bit distracted, food cost/price ratio a bit unbalanced. Maybe the change of location needs some more running time.
