10/02/2026: I've known this place for a while: it's a sure thing, quiet, and very close to the Zaccagnini pier. They serve good fish dishes, including fried calamari and vegetables, which I found a bit greasy but tasty. Good desserts (I recommend the nougat semifreddo). Service...a bit impersonal, but okay.

Highest rating for the service, discreet but prompt in accommodating even the smallest requests.
Highest rating for the atmosphere, clean, quiet, with comfortable seating for all heights.
Very good value for money.
Ample parking in this season, February, perhaps less so in summer.

The girls were wonderful.

They made us move from our table twice because they needed to reschedule us, they made the wrong pizza (very thin), and we paid too much. There are much better places on the Cervia seafront.

15/03/2026: A truly excellent pastry shop in Ravenna, perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a coffee/tea break.
The selection is extensive, but special mention goes to the savory snacks: delicious and visually perfect, reminiscent of the English afternoon tea.
The owner, if you read this, needs at least one more person. The girls are very kind and cheerful, but handling twenty people alone during peak hours is just too much.

22/02/2026: Their courtesy and friendliness truly make the difference: they welcome you with a smile and make you feel at home. The service is attentive and genuine, never cold or distant.
And then the food... simply excellent. Fresh dishes, well-prepared, and with flavors that truly taste of the sea. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen.
A place I always love to return to, because in addition to eating well, you really feel at home.
22/02/2026: Bad experience, very long and disorganized service, and lackluster food. We waited over 30 minutes for dessert, even though the table was set. The tables were too crowded.

25/09/2025: One of the few beach club restaurants still open at the end of September.
The menus are super original and imaginative, and taste absolutely delicious.
The staff is very friendly and cheerful. The guys are really good at what they do and were very attentive.
They also have a large selection of bottled wines, and the price-performance ratio is in keeping with the ambiance (which is also very nice) and the quality.
It's a treat to enjoy a slightly different take on Emilia Romagna cuisine.

30/12/2025: The Bassi era is over. The hot chocolate was mediocre and the ice cream was really bad. I had to throw it away. It's not good enough, a historic place ruined.
27/12/2025: The first time I went to Caffè Bassi was about 50 years ago. The old Bassi family were kind, competent people; the place was clean, as were the bathrooms. Then it passed into the hands of their son and wife. A slight decline in kindness, but nothing more. Today, my wife and I stopped for a break; it was chaotic, with a mix of clientele, and the service left much to be desired. But the worst part was the bathrooms, which were unspeakable, veritable latrines, not properly cleaned. What a shame! After 50 years, I'll have to give up a pleasant stop on winter afternoons. Never again.

01/12/2025: Just a few kilometers from Ravenna, you can rediscover the taste of wholesome local cuisine at the historic Osteria DA DUMANDO', dating back to 1880. We spent a lovely evening sampling traditional Romagna dishes. Everything was truly excellent, starting with the warm welcome and kindness of the owner and chef, with whom we enjoyed chatting at the end of the evening. Highly recommended!
