15/10/2025: A historic venue, it changed management last year, but it's still owned by the same family. Traditional cuisine, recommended for lunch with the fixed-price menu of the day. Excellent value. Easy parking.

08/06/2025: Very good the Frozen yogurt to fill with Smarties fruit etc. Good granitas. Nice outdoor space with tables and fountain to wash your hands or clean the children. Kind in the service. In my opinion good but not amazing the ice cream.
07/06/2025: Good yogurt, lots of toppings and fresh fruit! There are also tables outside to sit and eat and they also do table service. In the summer they also have Sicilian granitas, really very good!

11/08/2025: August, sun, sea, and Lorenzo's cuisine at Battigia. We had the eggplant meatballs with pecorino cream, seafood salad, risotto, and octopus. Very good and especially fresh, we didn't have time to take more photos. Thank you, and I recommend it to others.
10/08/2025: Under the new management, Battigia has fallen into disrepair. Prices for beach services are set by Mrs. Sandra based on one's personal taste. Entrepreneurs are born, not made. Many longtime customers, like me, have left the establishment for precisely this reason. I strongly advise against Battigia. I won't add anything else because I'd be writing a book. Sirenetta and Paradiso certainly follow the same system: if I like you, you pay €150 for a seasonal lounger; if I don't like you, you pay €250. These are not entrepreneurs; they are unreliable people.

28/10/2025: After a long tenure under the legendary Mimmo and a few management changes, we've arrived at the current management. In a modern, bright, and clean environment, you can enjoy a truly delicious pizza made with fresh, top-quality ingredients. Thin, not heavy, and very easy to digest.

05/07/2025: We have traveled to Northern Italy for the past 3 years (2023,24 & 25).
Syrene was one of the best restaurants that we have ever been to in any country. The staff, the food and the setting were superb. Paulo was the waiter that usually served us.
We traveled to Italy again this but it is with sadness that we see Syrene has closed.
We do hope that it opens again because it is a special place.

15/11/2025: Lots of confusion, too many tables and they can't keep up. Very poor service. Not recommended.

28/06/2025: Pleasant evening with two friends. Not too crowded place, relaxed atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff 👌.
I had a Lowen Cheeseburger and a Leffe, both excellent. The sandwich was well made, tasty and served hot, the beer at the right temperature.
Fair prices for the quality and the environment.
I will gladly return to also try the Bavarian cuisine, which seems really interesting.

The atmosphere was rustic, but appropriate for a club, and the service was attentive and punctual.
Two things I didn't like, but they're related: the lack of a menu with prices and the final bill.
A portion of cappellacci, a portion of baked vegetables (2 tomatoes and an onion), a quarter of house wine, water, and coffee, €26!!
With all the good will in the world, I'm having a hard time understanding...

21/09/2025: They're completely uncustomer-focused. We ordered cocktails and wanted to sit at a table, but were told it was only for those using the kitchen. The choice was a long table in the hot room or crooked tables outside.

16/11/2025: Nice place, rude staff, to order two chips and 2 peanuts, they didn't have them, non-existent kitchen even though we paid, they didn't bring us the requested cutting board...... absolutely zero, less than one can't be given
06/11/2025: Late afternoon on October 31st. I came for a cocktail with a friend. I asked for a Cuba Libre, and the girl looked at me strangely. I must have asked for a really complicated cocktail. Anyway, they thought they were playing it safe, but instead they managed to screw it up: they served me a Coke that had already been opened, who knows how long ago, so completely straight. The result was a truly awful Cuba Libre... the Cuba Libre is served with lime, a dose of rum, and a bottle of Coke on the side, which the customer has to add according to their personal taste... clearly I was asking for too much... 9 euro cocktails aren't even good enough to open a Coke for yourself. Never again.
