Central location in the town and convenient with nearby parking, well-kept tables and chairs with an excellent formula that includes pizza (good and made on the spot! not the disgusting frozen ones) and various fried foods to accompany the aperitif. Highly recommended... I will definitely be back!

06/07/2025: The settlement was known in ancient times as "Castrum Albareti" probably due to the presence of a forest throughout the area. A mention of the location in an imperial diploma dating back to 963, with which Emperor Otto I of Saxony granted Ulderico di Carpegna a series of castles, has been recognized as a historical fake; certainly the castle is mentioned in a federal pact with the Malatesta dating back to 1227. Following the continuous battles between the Malatesta and Carpegna families, the village with its castle often changed owners until 1336 when it was finally conquered by Pandolfo II Malatesta and remained in the family, apart from a few short periods, until the end of the dynasty with the death of Pandolfo IV Malatesta in 1534. It was also the Malatesta family who equipped the castle with high defensive walls in the 15th century. A first restoration took place in 1953 and then another in 2003.

It's happened a few times that they've made a mistake with the salad dressing or forgotten to include the piada in the order, but that can happen given the volume of orders and the number of customers in the restaurant.

Unfortunately, however, the experience was disappointing: I ordered oysters and raw shrimp from Puglia, but — for me — they were not fresh enough. Being a guest, I did not want to cause discomfort. I did not suffer any physical consequences, but I felt a certain discomfort. I also tasted the cooked fish of my companion: well cooked, but — in my opinion — same problem. I hope it is an isolated case

21/06/2025: We stopped last night after 3 hours of traffic on the highway, a place with very few tables occupied, we were turned away with the excuse that the place would soon fill up with customers who had booked. We found another restaurant not far away (highly recommended by the way!) and on our way back to get back on the highway, 1 hour later, we passed by this restaurant again, the parking lot even emptier than when we stopped and the place half empty. So let's say that as tourists it wasn't nice to feel unwelcome! Staff not at all professional. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

17/06/2025: A fantastic place, very high quality food cooked very well. Simple but still very welcoming atmosphere. We had the mixed grill, the seafood risotto and the mixed fried food. One better than the other. My children also enjoyed it a lot. Recommended!
