15/04/2026: Self-service restaurant in a historic building in the historic center. For many years, a true landmark in the heart of Carpi! A refined yet familiar atmosphere. Fast, attentive, and friendly service. Everything is well organized. Friendly and helpful staff. Wide selection of dishes, fresh and different every day, for all tastes and needs (including vegetarians). Tasty and authentic dishes, carefully prepared. Generous portions at reasonable prices. Spacious dining rooms, perfect for a leisurely lunch. Clean and well-kept atmosphere. Restrooms next to the entrance. Bar inside. Takeaway service is very convenient and efficient, with reservations available. You can also choose to get a card, which you can load with the amount you want and use to pay conveniently each time. The restaurant is accessible to all; in addition to the impressive staircase, there is an elevator next to the entrance. Parking is available on the street, in the designated spaces, as it's right in the city center. Highly recommended for a healthy break in a unique setting!

08/04/2026: A great find, especially when you want a change from Italian food. This is a very friendly little restaurant, serving Italian food but more notably Lebanese food, at very good prices. The food is excellent, very flavorful. I tried fatteh for the first time and it was quite interesting, plus they have all your staples such as hummus, fattoush, shish tawouk. The owner is also very friendly and interesting, speaking many languages.

22/03/2026: If Fulèr is the reflective side of the Rocca, Brancaleone is the fun side. A cocktail bar, pizzeria, BBQ—a place that doesn't take itself too seriously, and that's exactly why it works. The pizza al pala is its recognized strong point: light dough, precise cooking, and a gourmet menu that never disappoints. The cocktails hold their own in much more prestigious establishments. On summer evenings, with wooden tables scattered throughout the park, it's hard to find a more pleasant spot in the city for an aperitivo that extends into dinner without anyone asking. The setting is the same as the Rocca—the fifteenth-century walls, the greenery, that unusual quiet for a place in the heart of the city center—but the atmosphere is more informal, suitable for a couple or a noisy table. Children come here, grandparents come here, rock bands come here after rehearsals. The place holds its own without seeming out of place. The right place when you don't want to make too many decisions: order a pizza, have a cocktail, stay out late.

08/04/2026: Excellent food. Don’t expect white table cloth experience. But honest home style dishes for a quick lunch or dinner. Very comforting and well worth it.

21/03/2026: Stumbled across this spot walking round. Really tasty pasta for lunch and great Aperol Spritz. Nothing overly fancy, very tasty and great value.

31/03/2026: Dinner for 6 people, 3 of us ordered only 1 first course, the others 1 first course and 1 second course (2 of which were off-menu). No complaints about the food. I was a bit disappointed by the desserts, but it's still a trattoria focused primarily on meat and game. The service was a bit strange; the waiter was very taciturn, which led to some awkward moments, such as having this person standing behind us trying to take our empty plates without warning. I gave it 2 stars mainly because of the bill. We didn't order expensive wines, only 2 bottles of red Graspa, and as I said, half of us ordered only 1 course, some even without dessert. We did order 2 dishes off-menu, but the portions weren't that large. Furthermore, the location is a small village in the countryside. Nothing justifies the €300 bill we received at the end of the evening. Some of us had already been to this trattoria, spending much less, and they too were very surprised by the bill.

15/03/2026: On the recommendation of a colleague, I decided to try this restaurant with some friends. The place immediately presents itself as a classic trattoria, both in its decor and especially in its dishes. It was a pleasant surprise to taste authentic, typical Emilian dishes, all truly delicious, from appetizers to first courses, all the way to dessert, all excellent. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the bill was perfectly in line with the quality of the food served. We will be back and highly recommend.

29/03/2026: Had lunch with friends after a bike ride on the Argine degli Angeli. Excellent dishes, fast and friendly service, average prices.

21/03/2026: We stopped for lunch after our bike tour of the Valleys. All the ladies were very kind. The fried fish was excellent, as was the appetizer.
