23/12/2025: Wonderful place, very rustic, top quality food, friendly, courteous and competent staff, highly recommended

01/12/2025: I ate very well, and the flavors were truly authentic. The tagliatelle with ragù was my favorite dish, and I highly recommend them. The price was quite high, which I wasn't expecting, considering the location isn't easily accessible. We sampled a selection of starters, a main course, and coffee. They deserve 5 stars for their quality and location.

06/04/2026: Wandering on Easter Monday between Monzuno and Loiano, we found ourselves in Monghidoro... lunchtime now... what to do... we ended up at the Trattoria da Carlet, certainly without a reservation. It was immediately a no even though there were only 2 of us. Then they asked us if it was okay to wait until 1:15 pm (it was 12:40). A table for 2 would be available, so we accepted... we had a great time, excellent food and plenty of it, courtesy and kindness of all the staff. We didn't manage to try the desserts because they were too full... What can I say? Thanks, and we hope to return soon, perhaps by booking in advance!

04/04/2026: "Penny wise and pound foolish"—so focused on controlling every tiny detail that they completely miss the fact that they're ruining the very thing they're trying to manage. When an owner is that micromanaging, they usually create a "killer vibe" that no amount of nice decor can fix. It's a shame for those young waiters, too; they're likely doing their best while under a microscope. It's the classic case of an owner who's lost in a glass of water: so focused on controlling every tiny detail that they don't realize they're ruining the very business they're trying to manage. When an owner is that control freak, they create a heavy atmosphere that no decor, no matter how beautiful, can lift. It's also a real shame for those young waiters; they're probably doing their best while constantly feeling under the microscope. Tasteless food Tough meat Sweet, good luck to the girl who recommended us.

01/04/2026: Very nice place and welcoming management. You can feel the passion they put into their cooking: fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. It's not your typical tourist spot, but a haven of authenticity. Highly recommended for a dinner with friends.

07/03/2026: We were with friends who had never been to this restaurant before, and as we already knew, they were very, very pleased. Excellent home-cooked food, friendly and helpful staff, good value for the food. Last but not least, the view, beneath the Sassi di Roccamalatina, is breathtaking! After lunch, it's the perfect place for a stroll amidst the greenery. Highly recommended!!

04/04/2026: I don't want to be mean, but unfortunately, we're not there yet. I gave it another chance, but it was no use, and I'll explain. I consider this seafood restaurant, which claims to be of the highest quality, too commercial, but the fish I ate here tastes like nothing! Flavorless. The portions were adequate, the prices, like everything else, were out of control and exaggerated, and the service was impeccable. I won't be coming here again, because the quality of the ingredients should come first, and the owner's fake niceness should come second and last to maintain the right clientele.

28/03/2026: The food was very good, with small portions and high prices. The service was disappointing. The waiter in the attic was a bit incompetent because you have to write down your orders, not memorize them, otherwise you'll forget them. Will you bring the fries? Bring me the sauces, so I don't have to ask and wait for them. Will you bring the fresh vegetables? I had to ask for the dip while still waiting. In a room with 30 people, you can't have just one waiter serving.

11/04/2026: I went to this restaurant for lunch yesterday with my girlfriend. The place was nice, the staff were very friendly, to be honest, and the food was excellent. Intrigued by the offer on their website, we opted for the €10 deal (one dish, water, and coffee). And that's exactly what we did. We each had a first course, a bottle of water, a coffee, and a ginseng. Everything was perfect; the pasta was delicious, I must say, and the service was courteous and helpful. When we got the bill, we saw a total of €34. Unconvinced, I went back inside to ask why we should have paid €20 in total. Moral of the story: they told us that dish was off the menu and therefore cost more. Too bad the receipt says FIXED MENU and FIXED MENU. So, even if that were the case, we would have had to pay a maximum of €14 each, which was the price for a first course, a second course, water, and coffee. But this 34 euro, I really don't know how it came about. We're very sorry we were scammed like this; perhaps it was an honest mistake, but such a serious mistake certainly shouldn't happen! If it was a mistake, that is.

09/03/2026: We had a wonderful time! Even though we were a group of 20 people, they welcomed us without any problems and provided more than excellent service. The staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were enchanting, and the outdoor garden was wonderful. Highly recommended!

18/03/2026: This family-run trattoria serves delicious traditional Parmesan food at great prices, all homemade. I absolutely recommend trying the cured meats and pappardelle with ragù!

16/03/2026: We had dinner at Trattoria 13 Amici. I found the place well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. The menu had a good selection. The price was commensurate with the amount consumed. I recommend it.

04/04/2026: Bad experience: a pizza full of tomato sauce. The salami and gorgonzola pizza didn't specify whether it was spicy, while the others were. To top it off, since there were four of us, we wanted a separate bill. The clerk, without even asking or even letting us speak, issued a single receipt, insisting there was nothing more he could do. Moral of the story: terrible pizza and rude staff. Avoid.

04/04/2026: Inedible pizza, too much oil added. I had a buffalo mozzarella and it had more tomato than mozzarella (two slices). To be precise, tomato soaked in the pizza. This place is a tourist trap, better elsewhere. Rude staff, especially at the cash register.

10/03/2026: Good, honest, and traditional food! What a lovely surprise. The tortellini in broth, the cured meats, and the meats were excellent. We'll be back.

15/02/2026: I ordered the lasagna and I have to say it was among the best I've ever eaten! Fast and courteous service. Recommended.
