Fabulous evera farm with zero km products and animals present on site. We spent a special Easter in this enchanting place. The rustic and well-kept interiors, the abundant and super genuine cuisine, the very courteous service, very good quality/price ratio. It is only open 3 days a week (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) you need to book well in advance, because the list is long. It's worth it, highly recommended. We will definitely return. I have been going to the farm for years and I always have a great time. From the cresentine with cold cuts and cheese, to the desserts, including the first and second courses, everything is delicious. I, who like to savor simple flavours, that is to say that if I have tortelloni with ricotta I like to taste the pasta and ricotta and nothing else, Farneto always fully meets my expectations. The meat tastes so good that it doesn't even need to be seasoned. Their ice cream is so good that I would continue to eat it endlessly.

The Agriturismo is located on the slopes of the gentle hills just above the village of Varignana, at an altitude of just over 400 metres. The road to get there is narrow and a little bumpy, but all in all it is easy and as you go up your gaze is drawn on one side by the beauty of the hills and on the other by the boundless but orderly plain between Emilia and Romagna. Finally a farmhouse that fully embodies the spirit for which these structures were created, that is, offering menus with products raised/cultivated directly on the farm. Very beautiful stone structure with elements of peasant culture. Adjacent stable of approximately 160 heads of livestock and meat and cheese shop adjacent to the restaurant. The room is warm and well-kept, in which a fireplace makes a beautiful display. Outside the windows, hills and gullies follow one another as you await tortelloni with tasty ricotta produced from their cow's milk, seasoned with porcini mushrooms and honey mushrooms. Followed by tagliatelle with traditional Bolognese ragù which are nothing short of sublime, second courses based on very tender and stewed stuffed roast. Grilled seasonal vegetables and finally fried cream. All sprinkled with Sangiovese wine and finishing with nocino and grappa produced by the farm. I haven't mentioned the appetizers with salami (cow with the addition of pork lard - very delicate) produced on the farm, rostbeef and primo sale cheese, accompanied by well-cooked and slightly greasy mini crescentine. Very positive opinion for location, service (smiling and helpful girls), menu and bill. To return as soon as possible and congratulations for the passion you put into every course.

A spectacular farmhouse both as a place with an amazing panoramic position and for the cuisine with high quality raw materials... I couldn't point to one dish in particular, because I found everything excellent

Dopo tanto tempo siamo riusciti ad andare.. avevamo sempre preso la loro carne per gustarla a casa ma mai eravamo riusciti a mangiare la loro cucina. Ottimi piatti e qualità del cibo. Il servizio è gestito in famiglia, quindi un po' lungo e rilassato... Diciamo che è stato un lungo, piacevole pranzo della domenica.

Do tre stelle solo perché alla fine il cibo era buono ma per il resto lasciamo stare: - servizio lento (dalle 13 alle 16 per mangiare un primo, secondo e dolce) e poco attento, mancavano posate e le abbiamo dovute chiedere più volte - cameriera che prendeva le ordinazioni ( quella con capelli corti) sgarbata quasi scocciata - ambiente freddo ( siamo capitati nella sala giù e con la porta aperta entrava aria fredda) nonostante ci fosse il camino acceso ma nessuno l’ha più acceso quando la legna ha finito di ardere La location ha un’ottimo potenziale ed è bella però serve più attenzione verso il cliente.
