16/04/2025: Update: I think it is important that you also understand other languages ​​apart from Italian, what I indicated was, 'even if it is your smallest table in the corner' I never said where I wanted to sit, if I had indicated that, it would certainly not have been that table!! Phase 1.0 Arriving by train, I wanted something within walking distance of the station, since I had my luggage with me. When I arrived at the restaurant I was initially half refused because of 'no reservation' However, enough space. I was also alone to eat, maybe that was it? Since I am often in Italy for work, I can say that this is never really a problem anywhere, that I am alone. I have my doubts about this. Pulpo, my absolute favorite as a starter in Italy, was really the least tasty here so far. I couldn't help but smile at all, the service is very substandard. The ragu is tasty even in Belgium and I didn't eat it completely, even though I was really hungry. Bread, dry and tough. Not recommended at all, it's better to go a little deeper into the city.

11/04/2025: Il mastiff è sempre una certezza. Un posto accogliente pieno di persone di cuore, cibo fantastico e bevande strepitose. L’accoglienza dello staff è sempre caloroso e non c’è nessun altro pub a paragone in Parma.

11/04/2025: I went for lunch, a welcoming, informal restaurant, I found the staff attentive, helpful and very kind, my steak and baked potatoes were good. It has a wide choice of fine meats and dishes, it's very convenient to the station, the price is right, I definitely recommend it!

It was a simple millefeuille with Chantilly cream, chocolate chips and cream to decorate and it was really, really good. We had never come to your place, but we will definitely be back also because you told me that the lady was very kind and helpful. Thank you!

15/04/2025: This place looked lovely, nice area, and despite brewing very busy it had a table free. We plopped ourselves down and ordered Lasagne Bolognesi Lasagna noodles with slow-cooked bolognaise sauce € 14,00 and Tagliatelle ai Funghi Porcini €17 (which has a light creamy sauce) you get a bowl of Parmesan cheese so you can add what you like. Along with this we ordered 1 draft beer and 4 glasses of red wine. For dessert we shared the speciality, Budino di Minerbio, which has a very strong almond flavour and is reminiscent of a thick cheesecake. Everything was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and attentive, but not overly so

21/04/2025: I was really very happy with the experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent, well presented and with fresh ingredients. Each dish had an authentic flavor and attention to detail. The service was kind and attentive, without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere is also very pleasant: welcoming and relaxing. I will definitely return and recommend it to those looking for quality, courtesy and good taste!

01/04/2025: Entrando in questo locale sembra di fare un salto indietro nel tempo, l'ampia sala con l'arredo in legno ha un'atmosfera decisamente retro' e anche la cucina non indulge molto alla modernità. La solida tradizione emiliana è ben evidente nel menù: tagliatelle, pasta ripiena, salumi del posto, piadina e così via. Non aspettatevi un tocco di originalità o un soffio di leggerezza ma dei piatti comunque ben eseguiti. L'accoglienza è cordiale, il conto nella norma. Adatto alle comitive, un po' meno a chi cerca cucine più delicate o sofisticate.

26/04/2025: Abbiamo pranzato durante una visita a Ferrara. Minestre buone ma non abbondanti. Servizio (da parte di qualche personale di sala) da rivedere: capisco che si debba cercare di accontentare e servire anche chi ancora aspetta ad entrare, ma mettere fretta ad ordinare ancor prima di essersi seduti a tavola è sinonimo di poca attenzione alla clientela.

07/04/2025: Il cibo buona, ma trattamento altamente antipatico del personale. Avevamo chiesto di caricare il telefono e hanno detto che non era possibile deridendo fra di loro sulla richiesta "vengono qui per mangiare o caricare il telefono". (Peccato che lo abbiamo sentito) Alla fine abbiamo chiesto il conto e si sono rifiutati di fare conto separato. Fare il ristoratori non è solo cibo buona, ma accoglienza e modo di fare..!!!! Peccato!!!! Se ci tenete a queste cose evitate questa trattoria.
