24/07/2025: We stopped by by chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman and young woman who greeted us were so kind and down-to-earth that I immediately felt welcome. I had the chili burrito and the Mediterranean sandwich, truly delicious. Thanks again!

14/07/2025: Last night I ate at Taca Banda. The food was terrible. The tri-color steak was of very poor quality. The taca burger was tiny (all bread) and dry. The calamari (2) and shrimp (1) skewers were really bad. So much so that we left them there. The service was slow... The price was low, but it's not worth it. I won't be going back. Strange because I'd been there a few years ago and it was much, much better...

09/07/2025: Let me start by saying that I never write negative reviews when I eat out, even if I'm not satisfied. But this time I can't help it. We went to eat on Sunday evening with a couple of friends and children, at a table in front of the games. We ordered four seafood appetizers, and even when they arrived, they smelled stale, to say the least. I reported them to the waitress who served us, but no one bothered to even come to the table to ask for an explanation. Oh well! The grilled fish was smelly, scallops were stinky, and everything else was shrimp, monkfish, and burnt fried fish. Only the wine was good! Otherwise, it was a terrible experience. When we got to the cashier, the bill was €177.50. We paid €150, and the lady gave us a €27.50 discount without me even mentioning it. It wasn't for the discount, but for the embarrassment of showing up with dishes at the table and not pretending to know anything about what had happened. I think something like this should never happen, especially when you're serving fish dishes. I'm sorry, that's not how you work!

13/07/2025: The pizza is very good, but the girl who answers the phone is so indifferent and rude that she's not even interested in calling. If she has to answer customers like that, she'd better change her job or stay home and twiddle her thumbs, which would make a better impression.

13/07/2025: The four stars are primarily for the staff. The cleaning ladies, the breakfast staff, the bar staff, and the pool staff were all very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but the location is convenient for traveling to Modena or Maranello. I recommend the restaurant next door (same name, but much better management).

The portions are only half as much and the taste is not so good anymore. In addition, there is the overprice. So now a cola (0.3 l) costs a proud € 4,—. In addition, there is the Coperto in the amount of € 2.50 per person, which was not available last year. Conclusion: small portions with little taste at an overpriced price.

15/07/2025: Carne valida secondo me panini con prezzi veramente bassi il più costoso viene 8 euro peccato per le condizioni del locale e secondo me l’igiene manca da parte dello staff della piastra lì in bella mostra ripeto non si mangia male e servono pure i panini con il pesto di cavallo

Several sandwiches to choose from, fresh ingredients, cheap draft beer. At first you have to find your way around, where to wait, where to call, but it's definitely a place loved by locals and tourists alike.

26/06/2025: Nestled in the suggestive park of the Rocca, the place appears very disorganized. The staff is poor and unable to meet the needs of the customers. We served ourselves drinks at the counter and sat at a dirty table that was cleaned more than half an hour after our arrival. After a very long wait we were not even able to get information about the menu. Going there outside of opening hours you can also eat a good pizza in a truly beautiful setting.

13/07/2025: A last-minute pizza at midnight (before the oven turned off) on my way back from a mountain hike. Having not eaten beforehand, I stumbled upon this pizzeria, hoping to get a pizza, especially given the late hour (it was midnight). They granted my request without success, and I was delighted to eat a pizza with a truly delicious dough and equally good ingredients. The whole thing was topped off, as if by a cherry on top, by the promptness and helpfulness of the entire staff. Well done, I'll be back if I have the chance!

18/06/2025: Restaurant is a big word, 100%100 negative outcome An hour's wait for a risotto. Second course and side dish out of the question I got up after the first course and went to the cashier. The chef is the chef, the assistant chef in the kitchen, the cashier and the owner. The seafood-flavored risotto should be avoided, crabs in the risotto cooked without even opening and cleaning them, expired or defrosted products, a flavor that should be spat out on the plate. Advice: Go eat somewhere else. The penne all'arrabbiata was anything but arrabbiata. In the end I was charged €30 and given a receipt for €26 which includes: A risotto A penne all'arrabbiata A still water A sparkling water And the cover charge for 2 people which includes (4 half slices of bread). In the evening when I noticed the mistake I called him and he also hung up on me, tomorrow I'll go there and if he doesn't issue the receipt for €30 I'll call the Guardia di Finanza and the NAS.

03/08/2025: I'm from Switzerland. I stopped to eat here in Gavinel, a beautiful hillside garden. And it offers authentic, high-quality food; the place is wonderful. I recommend it to everyone. I'll be back.

21/07/2025: We stayed for 4 days last week for the second year in a row with a 4-year-old. Betty and other staff at the hotel are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, with a varied buffet, including first and second courses. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the cured meats, which weren't exactly top-notch (we left the cooked ham on our plate, it wasn't good). In short, the menu needs a bit of a makeover. Otherwise, the entertainment was excellent, the beach was clean, and everyone was always very helpful.

20/07/2025: What can I say? This was our second year here, and as always, we felt at home! I'll especially miss the crepes made by the fantastic Cinzia, always so cheerful with both adults and children. I'll also miss the liveliness and kindness of our super entertainer Giorgia, and the courtesy of all the staff in general. Complimenti a Giuseppe e al suo Team che hanno dato continuità al lavoro sviluppato dal papà. Rapporto qualità prezzo straordinario. Cortesia, simpatia e il sorriso che non manca mai. Altissima qualità di quello che abbiamo degustato. Gnocco fritto e prosciutto di Modena, sformatino, tortellini in brodo, tagliatelle al ragù, pollo al Lambrusco e dolci semplici ma super buoni: gelato di crema con aceto balsamico, stracchino della duchessa e crostata.
