The pizza is excellent, but when I want fish that's not far from the sea, I've come, I still come, and I'll always come to Itaca to enjoy it. Beautiful, elegant, and clean place, with impeccable, young service.

Delicious coffee ❤️ (the barista told me it's harder to make consistently good coffee by the sea 😊) Thanks for the lovely atmosphere.
06/06/2026: The restroom is very nice and welcoming. The staff are all very kind and friendly, there's a great atmosphere, and last but not least, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The spaghetti with clams is out of this world, among the best I've ever had.

The owners are incredibly helpful, attentive to detail, and always ready to welcome customers with a smile that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The pastries are fresh and delicious, the cappuccino (a large cappuccino) is creamy and perfectly prepared, while the summer coffees are delicious, original, and perfect for a refreshing break. A well-kept, warm, and passionately run place you absolutely must try and return to. ⭐️

The owners know how to recommend the perfect wine for your taste, and the food they serve is simple and light, perfect for a pre-dinner snack. The service is very friendly, and the classic atmosphere is perfect for the historic center of a city. I highly recommend it.

06/04/2026: EASTER, elderly people accustomed to traveling the world, for pleasure and work, with experience in restaurants both local and international. We're going for some seafood. I've read several reviews, and they rave about it. My niece also raves about it, having been there a few times with her husband. Fine, let's take a look. Parking is okay, really easy to find. The welcome at the entrance is average, the place has a few rooms with a few tables, many empty. We enter a covered courtyard, also with several empty tables. There are five of us, we sit down, they present us with the menu, we opt for fish, and order hot and cold seafood appetizers. The menu doesn't indicate whether it's fresh or frozen. It arrives frozen, definitely, with two mussels that are stringy and microscopic and ready to be thrown away, a small, thin clam, two pieces of octopus, and a series of various-sized pieces of calamari. My niece orders the first course, which looks good, but it's cold. The ravioli taste like ice. She sends them back, reheats them in the microwave, and brings them back. We order the second course, a mixed fry with fizzy onions. Another disappointment with the fried food; the only redeeming feature is the onion, even though it's frozen. I wonder if we were unlucky enough to come on the wrong day, or if this is the norm. We paid €50 each, which was fair for what we ate, but not for what we would have liked to have eaten. I won't comment on either the wine bar or the pizzeria, which are undoubtedly top-notch. But let's forget about the fish. BEST WISHES

01/06/2026: The sea bass was okay. The spaghetti al ragù was tasteless and the spaghetti alla carbonara a complete disappointment. The guanciale was limp and undercooked. What a shame. There are far better restaurants in Cattolica.

08/03/2026: Excellent gelato and excellent granita, not the classic syrupy version, but the Sicilian-style fresh fruit version. They have a wide selection of granita flavors, a little less so for gelato, but they're all exceptional. The Monte Bianco flavor is especially recommended.
They also make milkshakes.
Fairly priced.
They also have plenty of tables where you can relax while enjoying your gelato.

23/11/2025: A historic restaurant at the foot of Sogliano al Rubicone, nestled in the tranquil hills of Romagna. A cuisine that cherishes tradition and, over the years, has never lost its most authentic flavors. The homemade pasta is excellent: the delicate and fragrant porcini hearts arrive with a touch of class: a sprinkle of grated Fossa cheese, a tribute to the region, instead of the traditional cheese bowl. The tagliatelle with ragù are excellent: wide, coarse, and cooked to perfection. The ragù, flavorful and well-thinned, completes the dish without being overpowering. The roast rabbit is delicious, rich in flavor and expertly cooked, resulting in a tender and fragrant dish. Homemade mascarpone and tiramisu round out the meal with a sweet treat perfect for a leisurely Sunday. The finale is sweet and comforting: homemade mascarpone and tiramisu, perfect for a Sunday lunch. Service is fast and precise, with friendly and attentive waiters. The wine list is basic but adequate, enough to choose and enjoy excellent local Sangiovese wines.

26/03/2026: I recently dined here during my stay and had a somewhat mixed experience.
On the positive side, the restaurant clearly deserves recognition for its food. The dishes were impressively executed and arrived quickly after ordering. I tried the “Tonnata” tongue and the green pappardelle with duck ragù—both were outstanding and truly memorable. The wine list is also extensive, although I didn’t take advantage of it as I was quite exhausted from traveling.
I came down from my hotel room for a quiet dinner alone shortly after arriving at the hotel, hoping for a relaxed and efficient dinner before an early morning the next day. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the cuisine. While the staff were polite, I felt somewhat unwelcome. Senior staff seemed to avoid direct interaction and delegated service to junior team members. Throughout the meal, I poured my own water from the bottle I had ordered, and no one checked in.
What stood out most was that senior staff only approached my table to clear salt, pepper, and vinegar immediately after I finished eating—without a word and before I had even asked for the bill. After settling the bill, I quietly left the restaurant on my own.
I also noticed a similar dynamic with another solo diner at a nearby table, which made me feel that my experience was not an isolated one.
Overall, the food is exceptional and reasonably priced for its level, but the service experience falls short of expectations—especially compared to other Michelin-recognized restaurants I’ve visited. With more attentive and welcoming service, this could easily be a top-tier dining experience.

12/05/2026: Let me start by saying that I gave everything one star, but in reality it's worth even less.
Let's start by saying we hadn't booked, so we went in.
We ordered. The guy who took our order—I don't know if he didn't understand Italian or if he was Italian but didn't understand—taken our order. For the main course, I had also ordered a stew with potatoes, but he told me the potatoes were finished. I said, maybe add another side dish. Fried potatoes are fine too (obviously, I meant on the side!!!)
Well, the appetizer and main course arrived, as we'd asked for. The pasta was clearly microwaved, with grains of salt still in the sauce. The platter was terrible, too, with grainy squacquerone gone, cured meats that were black or otherwise oxidized, and all that was awful, but it was better this way in this case.
Second courses: the second courses arrived with side dishes. We ordered a shank with fries and the famous stew, and nothing... And nothing! I received the stew with fries inside. It was abominable just to look at it, not even my dogs would have eaten it, so much so that I sent it back. This dish was on the level of a kitchen nightmare!!!! The shank was clearly pre-cooked, the broccoli rabe was sour, the friggione... Let's talk about that friggione, they killed all the true Bolognese people!!
Thickly chopped onion, raw, boiling tomato, microwave-safe, because you could tell from the plate!!
In short, we had a terrible night.
We were sick.
If you want to spend money and feel sick, come here.
06/05/2026: Great little restaurant with the option to eat inside or outside in the arcade. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lasagna was fantastic, as was the frigidone. I felt very comfortable here and highly recommend the restaurant 🫶🏻
