10/10/2025: I recently visited this historic osteria in Rimini and was pleasantly surprised by their gluten-free offerings! Not only do they have gluten-free piadina, but they also use the bread they use for their crostoni. The service was friendly, and the staff was very helpful in recommending dishes that would suit my needs. The food was delicious, and the cuisine is authentically Romagna.

10/10/2025: I don't usually eat pasta.....this evening, after years, I tasted the best ragù I can remember and the thinnest and most flavorful tagliatelle ever! Everything was delicious! Congratulations!

04/09/2025: It's located in a quiet countryside spot near Sarna, a few kilometers from Faenza and Brisighella. Besides the rooms, which I haven't seen, it offers excellent food. We were there for lunch on Ferragosto (August 15th) and had a delicious meal.

23/09/2025: The property is located in the beautiful Modena countryside, not far from the city. There you can visit Chef Bottura's ancient vinegar factory. The tour is exclusively in English (for the Italian tour, you must make a separate reservation)... but why, if we're in Italy and the entire group of visitors that morning is Italian? After the tour, you can enjoy a tasting and purchase the chef's selection of balsamic vinegars, and among the many bottles of Modena's Black Gold, you'll also find 250/500 ml bottles of Bottura's signature oil at the same price... when asked why? What's the difference? The kind young lady who guided us... got bogged down and had a hard time explaining the difference and why they were the same price. Two anonymous little bottles, disconnected from their very generalized geographical context in education and rather tied solely to business.

11/09/2025: Fantastic piadinas. Every time I'm in the area, I stop by to pick up some to bring to friends and family. There are various types of piadinas and similar specialties. They're usually sold in bags of 10, and on the owners' advice, I've also learned to freeze them so I can buy more. From my experience and taste, they're really delicious even frozen. The vendors are always kind and helpful.

05/09/2025: A very pleasant ice cream shop, with a good variety of flavors and fresh, creamy gelato. Friendly staff and a refined atmosphere make it a perfect choice for a sweet treat.

09/10/2025: We ate at a lovely restaurant/pizzeria, La Carriola, this evening. The staff was remarkably friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The bressaoula with arugula and Parmesan was exceptionally good in both flavor and quantity. The pizza that followed was the best we've ever been served, only a bit too big! The spaghetti vongole is truly the most outstanding we've had in years! Simply fantastic and unexpected. We have years of experience with Italian cuisine in all its forms and enjoy cooking ourselves. It couldn't be better. We'll definitely be back tomorrow!

12/09/2025: I often go to Baratie for aperitivo or an evening with friends. It's a welcoming, well-kept place with a youthful, pleasant atmosphere. The menu is extensive and original, with tasty, beautifully presented dishes, perfect for both a quick lunch and an evening with friends. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. They're very skilled at making cocktails: truly well-crafted, with attention to detail, and delicious. Excellent value for money too. Highly recommended!

03/11/2025: We stayed at this hotel some 12 years ago. This year we used this establishment again, both going down to The Abruzzo and returning to the UK. We were not disappointed. On both occasions the bedrooms were clean and well appointed. The young man at reception (Emanuele) was courtesy itself and the members of staff in the breakfast room were polite and obliging. The array of food stuffs for breakfast was more than ample. Would really recommend this hotel.

25/08/2025: Pappapero's best pizzeria. Eat in, take out, and get home delivery. The pizza 🍕 is always excellent (Neapolitan dough). Service is always on time, and the staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. Cristina 👋
