07/07/2025: I had pizza here because it was recommended to me and I really wasn't disappointed. Aside from the goodness and quality of the food, the care in the preparation and the attention to tradition, a kindness towards the customer that you don't see often. These guys really deserve it. PS in addition to the pizzas, I recommend you absolutely try the frittatine which are the original ones made in batter and that remain dry and the crocché which were divine, only grandma made them like this.

08/03/2026: We came here on a Friday evening and were seated immediately. The service was very quick, both in taking our order and in serving drinks and then the food. We started with a portion of fries with meatballs and fondue, which was truly delicious. Next, we ordered various sandwiches. My spicy burger with friarielli, nduja, and provola was truly incredible. The other sandwiches were also very popular. The only downside was the desserts, which we didn't enjoy as much as the sandwiches and appetizers. The place is truly beautiful and kept tidy by friendly and helpful staff. A recommended and approved place.

19/02/2026: It's been a while since I've been there and I have to say that, as always, they don't disappoint: delicious sandwiches (I'm speaking as a vegetarian) with excellent products and average prices.

18/12/2025: In a warm atmosphere right in the center of Caserta, Prosit 1990 is one of the very few places to enjoy refined cuisine, without being forced or adding unnecessary ingredients. The experience of the owner and his wife is crucial. The wine selection is extensive, expertly described by Peppone (the owner).

24/02/2026: I've tried three flours in Aversa several times and have always been satisfied with both the quality of the products and the lightness of the pizza dough. I've also tried the one in Caserta, but it's not comparable to the Aversa location; in fact, I was disappointed with the pizza, which was hard to digest. The service is also excellent.

22/02/2026: Last night we went to eat at this place, which I had fond memories of because I came a few years ago and it was a great experience. Unfortunately, yesterday I changed my mind. We had a table booked for 10:00, and they sent us a reminder message saying the maximum delay tolerated was 10 minutes. We arrived at 10:09, they made us wait a few minutes and then seated us. Unfortunately, the staff who served us were very annoyed, almost annoyed by our presence. I personally ordered a beer and they brought me a wine glass to drink it from. When I asked for a change of glass, the person serving us swept it off the table and, annoyed, went to get me a beer glass. There was a person at the table with celiac disease, and they brought him different cutlery and plates than ours. So far, these seem very thoughtful, but it's a shame about the aftermath. We non-celiacs had terrible swelling today, while the person with celiac disease unfortunately vomited all night. I'm sorry, but we'll never go back, and even if the celiac person had been fine, I still wouldn't go back because the service was truly terrible. I preferred the previous management!

The staff is friendly, very professional, and discreet in serving dishes that are nothing short of exceptional (see photos). The seafood appetizer is a must: prepared with ingredients of undisputed quality. The shrimp and citrus risotto is also excellent: it's worth mopping up the sauce! Recommended

13/02/2026: [Why You Don't Have to Try It Just Once] I'll admit it straight away: I love this place. I'll say it right away so we can be clear and you know what to expect when you read the review... but there's something else you need to know. I don't know the owners, I'm not a friend of theirs, yet I feel the need to endorse them. In a copy-and-paste way, there's a restaurant feel to this place. We're not in a trattoria—even if the prices are in line (in my opinion, they should charge more!)—but we are in a restaurant where tradition is revisited with meticulous attention to detail. The chef is truly brilliant. He hasn't abandoned his roots and brings them to life in a transformation that feels like alchemy. You meet him and immediately fall in love with his cuisine. It's not just a teenage crush, but a love that takes time. Here you'll find everything you need to have a point of reference for life. Therefore, you don't HAVE to come here just once. It's not enough. You have a duty to experience it, to be pampered, and to understand that for them, every gesture is the result of careful study. It has become the restaurant for events for my law firm and my family. They don't even know it, but they are part of my world. And I don't know it because every time I make a reservation, I never show up. I've become a fan. The staff deserves special mention: courteous, patient, and constantly present, never invasive. I conclude by praising the restoration of an oil mill that exudes nostalgia, the kind that does you good and takes you back to the years when everything was authentic, to a world worth remembering. Thank you for not distorting your mission. Try it, more than once. You won't regret it. Word of a lover of good food.

11/03/2026: It's a shame to write mostly negative reviews. I hope they're taken as recommendations. The atmosphere is welcoming but noisy. It's hard to make conversation. I don't know about the pizza: it arrived lukewarm and quite messy. It's all really strange considering there are so many waiters, as well as oven and kitchen staff. Absolutely no fried food. We ordered some, but almost all of them were left on our plates. A small dessert. Lemon cake "Delizia a limone" was just okay. The beer was good.

16/02/2026: The upstairs room was very cold, the stove was broken, we were freezing today, cold and sore throat, but the food was good.

07/03/2026: We had pulled pork meatballs, Vertigo potatoes, and two sandwiches... we were completely satisfied!! Really good, I recommend it! And then there's Mauro, the friendly and kind waiter, who was happy to give us advice.

03/03/2026: Magnificent welcome, we were greeted by Mauro who served us and explained with great politeness and professionalism, we tried fried foods and some of their specialties if you are a lover of meat and fried food I recommend you stop by, their pulled pork is spectacular, the quality is excellent and does not disappoint. The quality of the sandwiches is impressive I tried the "combo" and I don't think I've tasted anything so good a perfect combination of flavors and no ingredient overpowers the flavor of the others. My compliments to the chef, there is perfect technical work and such understanding that it makes it perfect. Welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a place where I will gladly return to eat, absurd quality / price. Stay tuned because you will surely find them reviewed in the newspaper.
