29/10/2024: Sunday spent in a beautiful place and with kind and helpful people and staff... and this already makes the difference. Don't expect a huge estate, at least in terms of structure, there is plenty of space around it. Fixed menu or à la carte, we tried the first option, all good quality and well prepared products. The only point, if we want to say so, is to give greater importance and publicity to the à la carte menu because given the quality of the fixed menu (from 7 in my opinion) probably, but I can be proven wrong, the other courses are even better.

23/02/2025: Pleasant evening in this place that I had always heard good things about. The place is managed with care. The food is good and there are some "goodies" such as the meat maturation cell; a sign that there is passion. Excellent prosecco and wine. Nice and tasty appetizers. I think the focus of the cuisine is on fish-based dishes. In short, a good place to spend a lunch or dinner. I definitely recommend the visit 🥂

10/11/2024: We went to this place before going to the pumpkin garden, I must say that it was a wonderful surprise. Given the limited time available, we took the menu they recommended, a series of basic appetizers, sliced ​​pumpkin meatballs, stuffed mushrooms and other appetizers for children, the classic penne with tomato sauce. The first courses were the real delicacy of the day, the meat was good but I must say there was little choice of side dishes. The rustic structure is beautiful and very characteristic but the nice thing is the animals, a green space behind the immense structure with a few rides which are unfortunately not well looked after. All in all we spent a pleasant few hours. The bill was honest 5 people and 3 children €206

Each package has been divided and named according to the person, making distribution easy and precise. The quality of the meat was excellent, as always a guarantee: flavor, freshness and perfect cut. Furthermore, the service was punctual and reliable, demonstrating great attention to detail and our needs. It's not the first time we've turned to them, and it certainly won't be the last. Highly recommended for those looking for quality, professionalism and high level customer service!

09/04/2025: Eating at Mastrangelo you can enjoy a nice atmosphere in the center of old Caserta, with a spacious and well-kept exterior. I ate a Casertano appetizer x2 and Fusilloni with black pork mince and stracciata. Good appetizers and also the first course. What unfortunately annoyed and saddened me was having ordered an appetizer and a first course when there was still no one there and seeing tables of people who had booked being served before me and my companions. The appetizer was served not too late but the first course arrived only after 1 hour and a half while the other tables were served less than 30 minutes after arriving. Furthermore, those who book seem to have access to a fixed-price menu, while those who do not book are forced to choose from the menu. If you want to eat here, book, otherwise you could be treated less. p.s. I note that the owner comments with insults to anyone who has something to say about the place with a rating of 1-2 stars. With "know-it-all and half-idiot" addressed to me, to a customer who came to eat at her, it says a lot about her person and the other reviews that concern her. I'm sorry for the food that I found good, unlike her. Accept criticism and improve instead of offending. Having said that if I ever have the pleasure of returning to Caserta Vecchia your restaurant should be considered non-existent only because of your attitude. Have a good continuation. p.p.s. Your restaurant won't be labeled recently or avoided for reviews like mine, worry more about making a good impression rather than getting angry with those who judge the service to be inadequate. Maybe another day it would have gone differently. And in any case for the menu for those who ordered or not it was possible to order days in advance not 1 month. 23/11/2024: Second time I go to eat at this pizzeria. We ordered 4 pizzas, a portion of twister chips and Nutella strips. The service was very fast. The waitresses very helpful. The pizza dough is always very light, but at the same time very good. Wide choice of pizzas, calzones and more. I highly recommend it!!!
