The atmosphere is quite nice, but after a while, standing outside, it smells like a bathroom. The food is extremely poor quality: dry bruschetta, bagged fried food, low-quality meat, overcooked, dishes passed from table to table (bread, salad), and, on top of all this, the service is incredibly slow. This is the fourth time we've been here; not a typical story.

The pizza dough is incredibly light and easily digestible, a clear sign of attention and uncommon mastery in the production process. Excellent ingredients with very balanced combinations. 20/10/2025: A classic '90s trattoria... and sadly it's still there, complete with a time machine parked outside, along with two dried-up plants at the entrance. The omen was already there from the welcome: the owner, gruff and unfriendly, seems convinced that a smile is optional. Given the proximity to the sanctuary, a little more empathy for those arriving wouldn't hurt. Let's move on to the food: small portions for a trattoria, quality... let's say "nostalgic." The appetizer of "sfizi" was almost entirely potato-based (perhaps they had a surplus), and to add a touch of mystery... different from what was served at the other tables! Perhaps a new form of secret customization. The first course, "matasse e ceci," was bland and the pasta overcooked. As if that weren't enough, the chefs came out of the kitchen to fetch ingredients directly from the fridge into the dining room: a spectacle unlike anything you'd see in a theater. Given this premise, we wisely decided to stop at the first ones. Goodbye... never again (except for time travel).

30/09/2025: We were there last weekend. A very characteristic restaurant located inside the famous Calitri caves, in the historic center. We had the classic cannazze with ragù, which were truly excellent. They offer a wide selection of wines. We will definitely be back.
