10/06/2026: Excellent restaurant near Cigliè Castle. The view from the terrace is superb around 7:30 pm, and even though it was directly exposed to the sun, it was still pleasant. The menu includes a trio of appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert, and in my opinion, it's a great way to sample local specialties.

13/05/2026: Our pasta-making experience at La Gavitella was nothing short of magical and became one of the absolute highlights of our Amalfi girls’ trip celebrating special birthdays. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly thought out. We were welcomed with delicious coffee and croissants overlooking the most breathtaking views imaginable. It is one of the most stunning settings we experienced in the Amalfi Coast. The atmosphere throughout was incredible: free-flowing Prosecco, music, laughter, dancing with friends, and such warm, genuine hospitality from the entire team. The pasta-making itself was so much fun, authentic, interactive, and beautifully organised. It felt far more than just a cooking class; it was a full experience and memory we’ll treasure forever. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the photos taken throughout the day to the certificates, aprons, recipe books, and gift bags we were given to take home. What truly made the experience extra special was the kindness of the owner, who even took us back by boat to Praiano marina afterwards, saving us the long climb back up the hill which was such a thoughtful touch that perfectly sums up the level of care and hospitality shown. And as if the day couldn’t get any more surreal, when we arrived back at the marina we bumped into Matthew McConaughey, who is currently filming the new Netflix movie Positano! It honestly felt like something out of a film itself. We genuinely cannot recommend this experience enough. Incredible value for money, unforgettable views, amazing people, fantastic food and drinks, and memories we’ll all talk about for years. If you’re visiting Praiano or the Amalfi Coast, this is an absolute must-do.

Congratulations to Gennaro, who chose this way of doing business, and to the ability of his entire team, from the chef to the dining room staff, to follow him... the traditional cuisine is reinterpreted in a more contemporary way, depriving it of its classic heaviness but enriching it with freshness and delicious flavors. 30/05/2026: We went to Pescheria for my partner's birthday. There were ten of us. Beautiful place!! A New York-style restaurant with minimal attention to detail, but with top-notch Italian cuisine and a view of the Mediterranean. Impeccable service and food!!

30/05/2026: Amazing food on a gorgeous terrace in a silent olive field. Raw materials are km0 so vegetables and stracciatella were soooo good. The menu offers a selection of tasty local dishes. The owners are very kind. Recommended pit-stop for the San Nilo trekking. Worth the diversion. I will definitely come back.

The place is simple, perfectly integrated, and full of personality. The welcome is perfect; you immediately feel at ease. You might expect simple, perhaps predictable, cuisine, but in reality, Osteria dei Compari amazes you with the quality of its ingredients and the combinations that will create a combination of aromas and flavors that you will take with you as a corollary to the wonderful walk to the oasis. Following the owner's response, I'd like to add that it's very interesting that the agreement also includes the non-issuance of a receipt. There were many things that could be said, but as usual, one should take responsibility for one's own actions. Regards
