09/01/2026: I've been to this trattoria before under the previous management, and the quality and flavor of the dishes are beyond question; everything is excellent. But I have a few comments regarding the quantity and price: €20 for a plate of pasta a genovese with 10 rigatoni, €24 for a lamb main course with three pieces, and in total €180 for four people: a first course, a second course, two side dishes, a half-liter of wine, and two bottles of water. I'm not arguing with the price, given the location and the day (New Year's Day), but with the quantity of the dishes.

06/01/2026: Highly recommended. The mixed antipasto platter is generous and features typical local flavors. Vittorio is a truly attentive and genuine host. The pasta alla genovese we shared after the appetizer was also exquisite. Not to mention the lemon tiramisu, a real treat... a complimentary liqueur to finish.

06/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant located in the small square of Cetara. We ate excellent sea bream with lemon and spaghetti with anchovy sauce! The ingredients were very fresh and perfectly cooked! Excellent welcome and service; the owner and the waiters came over several times during lunch to make sure everything was fine and to our liking. Recommended.

10/11/2025: Amazing place! Spectacular sea views, a relaxing atmosphere, and super friendly staff. We had lunch just a few meters from the water with truly delicious dishes: a fresh seafood appetizer, flavorful seafood paccheri, and a light dessert with cream and strawberries that was simply heavenly. A glass of white wine, a sea breeze, and a breathtaking view... what more could you ask for? After lunch, we also enjoyed an aperitif overlooking the sea, and it was simply perfect. La Gavitella is one of those places where you can truly relax and enjoy the Amalfi Coast in all its splendor. ❤️

05/09/2025: This was my wife and I’s favorite meal of our trip to Italy, no questions. I think the only complaint we had was that we didn’t find them sooner. The food was incredible and the vibe that they create is one in a million. The owners make it feel like you’re sitting down to eat with family, and we would come back in a heartbeat.

20/09/2025: 1. A charming experience The restaurant is really small, with only 7 tables. This gives a great feeling of familiarity, especially since the service is truly attentive and thoughtful from the two waitresses. I would come here for a first date. 2. Exceptional food, 101% Neapolitan taverna. A purely Neapolitan menu that doesn't sell out. Excellent fried food, the parmigiana seems to be made by our grandmother, which we all dream of. The first courses are delicious and plentiful. Excellent tagliata. 3. Various homemade desserts that I haven't tried, but it's still a big plus. 4. Prices are moderately low compared to the average of restaurants in the Vomero area. In short, an exceptional value. A charming experience.

19/09/2025: This restaurant offers the chance to dine as if you were at the owners' home, offering authentic Neapolitan cuisine made with love and care. We had a wonderful time, felt welcomed with warmth and care, and the food was simply delicious. We will recommend it to everyone we know.

02/01/2026: We've been away for almost three years, but we've always dreamed of returning. Spending time with Lello and his wonderful family is like being at home, with traditional cuisine, the authentic flavors of local products, a unique place to pamper the palate and the soul, a place to gather with family and chat peacefully. At "Si, ma quant' sit?" everything is delicious: so many appetizers, first courses, second courses, and side dishes, not to mention the desserts, the limoncello, and the fennel liqueur. Special attention to the simple things, a corner of the world to sit, relax, and remember. Thanks to Lello, thanks to everyone, but above all, a kiss to Alessandro... see you soon! 20/12/2025: Limited flexibility in editing the food items which is standard in italy but they were very kind to us as we are vegetarian. They made us Gnocchi sorrentino and it was the best italian dish I may have had in my whole life. Ate it twice in a 3-4 day stay in positano. Honestly if you are vegetarian the dish will not disappoint it is hands down created for the gods. So fantastic! The tomato sauce and the basil really shine through the dish, it is truly something special! Beautiful family! Cheers to the chef making such an extraordinary dish, yet so simple. I refuse to eat Gnocchi anywhere else because I don’t want to be disappointed. Truly hand crafted!

05/11/2025: Everything was excellently prepared; we had a pasta frittata and crocche, which were excellent, as were the pasta dishes we had afterwards. A small place with limited seating inside, everything has a Neapolitan theme, and it's very friendly and charming. Friendly and cheerful staff. Very fair prices.

13/10/2025: Previously reviewed under a different account, still mine, I'm posting it again on this new account. ... It happens, sometimes you ask for directions to a place to eat and then... Yes, then you hope to meet the same person the next day so you can thank them... I was enchanted, it felt like entering another dimension where you have to leave your worries behind and enjoy the evening... .... What can I say? The staff was competent, extremely kind, attentive, and, for me, "smiling." The service was precise and fast, the dishes were well-presented and even better cooked, from appetizer to dessert a riot of flavors. Thank you all, a great team of young people who work well... I also appreciated the harmony I perceived among the staff, attentive, serious, but very relaxed. There's everything you need to make the occasional diner or regular customer feel at ease. Leave your worries aside and let yourself be pampered... One thing's for sure: I'll be back!!! Oh, I forgot, the prices.... I blessed every euro I spent this evening, 40 euros that I'll never regret. I hope it can be helpful to those like me who are looking for a "special" place for an unforgettable evening.

13/10/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at L’Agave. The food was wonderful and our server helped us pick out a wonderful wine. I had fresh baked gluten free bread which was quite a treat. The service was stellar and the views are stunning. We were happy to dine there for our second time.

04/01/2026: No better Italian experience than here! Family owned and run by the most welcoming people! We loved our food, the lasagna was homemade and the best we've ever had. Beautiful views of an old church and the Amalfi Coast. I wish I could eat there every meal!

01/12/2025: Authentic trattoria seating 15, with a chef and owner. Bruschetta with eggplant in oil, pasta with potatoes and provola, and a moka pot of coffee. If this is what you're looking for, this is the place.
