A truly wonderful traditional Italian restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, the service was impeccable so kind, attentive, and always with a smile even though they didn’t speak good English, we felt surrounded by warmth and genuine hospitality. Definitely a place I would visit again!
P.S. I was wearing a white outfit, and the sweet lady there rushed to cover me with a bib and a napkin so I wouldn’t get stained, just like my mom or grandma would do! Such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch.

What a lovely surprise, a truly Neapolitan trattoria!
To understand the name: "'a tiàna" means "the pan or frying pan" in Neapolitan, and you immediately understand it when the dishes arrive, as you can see from the photos.
Imma's welcome and kindness are fantastic; I felt right at home.
We ordered the famous ziti alla genovese, which is definitely worth trying. It's truly delicious, perhaps among the best you can eat in Naples.
We also had the mezzanelle lardiate, which was very good, a simple dish but full of flavor.
The house red wine pairs beautifully with the dishes.
For dessert, you can't leave without trying the lemon caprese, a typical local dish and truly well-made.
And remember, the coffee served in a mini moka pot is a must; it's a lovely touch. If you like, the limoncello is also a good choice.
Overall, it's a special, authentic place where you eat well and feel welcomed. Congratulations indeed.

🫕🫕🫕If you're looking for a quiet dinner with classic, bold, and distinctly Italian flavors, in the heart of Vomero, "a'tiana" is the place to be. It's a typical family-run trattoria where the dishes, strictly the stars of traditional cuisine, are served in historic "tiane" terracotta or aluminum pots, waiting to be discovered. There are also some off-menu dishes. And to round off the experience, there's a good selection of desserts and digestifs, so you can truly feel like a true gourmet.
The cuisine is hearty, beautiful, and seasoned, with a typical atmosphere of Grandma Annunziata's house, so to speak.
(Please note that this description is my personal opinion, the result of subjective and personal taste, devoid of self-interest and with no other purpose than to share with the public a pleasant experience I had and which I recommend trying, if Monday is the day they're closed. A kiss 💋)

We had lunch at 'A Tiana last Sunday and, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with rare kindness: attentive service was consistently present throughout the meal. The Fritturina appetizer and the Lemon Meatballs immediately put us in a good mood, simple yet rich in flavor. The first courses were a real surprise: the Seafood Gnocchi, made without potatoes but with water, flour, and rice flour, were soft and fragrant (I highly recommend them); the Bucatini with Ischian-style rabbit ragù took us back to the authentic flavors of tradition.
We concluded with a Rum Tiramisu and a Zeppolone with cream, both irresistible, classic desserts that make you close your eyes and savor them to the fullest.
In conclusion: A lunch that tastes of home, care, and passion, where the cuisine speaks from the heart. Highly recommended!

A typical Italian atmosphere, with highlights such as the ziti alla genovese, the mezzanelli lardiati (incredible), the meatballs, and finally the lemon caprese, superb. The red and white checked tablecloths, the hanging copper pans, and the soft, warm lighting, the hanging piennolo tomatoes give a homey feel. Imma is so kind and knows how to give the best advice.
