It's a shame the waitress left feeling obviously cold. We came in with the best of intentions and hungry... but...

23/02/2026: I tried this place due to good reviews and was pleased by the experience. We reserved a table to be sure and we were the first ones there at 730pm. Waiter spoke English so that made it easier. Good food and nice atmosphere.

15/03/2026: This establishment is quiet and exceptionally well run. Everyone greets you like a friend, and serves you with every intent to make your time there memorable. We had octopus on a potato crème sauce, Vongole that had a fabulous flavor, escarole with raisins and olives that was luscious, and the best tasting verdure grigliata we have ever experienced. Also, talk to your waiter about the local wines as they are very good. All in all, we believe restaurant Masaniello is under rated and should be a must try.

Nice view over the marina, Naples and the Vesuvius. And the limoncello spritz with fresh mint is unlike anything you’ll ever have. Very affordable as well!
