24/08/2025: A restaurant where you can sample traditional Cilento cuisine. The ingredients are authentic and delicious. I had delicious fresh pasta with Cilento ragù. I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/11/2025: The bar next door... Very kind and knowledgeable staff. Extremely high-quality products. I wish there were bars like this in every neighborhood of every city.

22/10/2025: Super friendly people. Unfortunately, we were there four hours before opening. The waiter simply gave us some food that was just being prepared in the kitchen. It was incredibly delicious and one of the best things we ate on our Italian vacation.

19/10/2025: On the recommendation of some friends, we decided to try this small restaurant in Controne, the city of beans. Their specialty, the Controne bean, is the protagonist of the entire menu, from appetizers to main courses. We were served by Donato, extremely kind and helpful, who carefully recommended dishes and an excellent wine to pair. We started with a platter of local cured meats and goat's cheese, served with fresh bread. The beans in olive oil were truly delicious, accompanied by crostini and crusco peppers. The handmade pappardelle with beans were a delightful surprise: simple yet rich in flavor. To finish, we chose a dessert with ricotta and fig jam, paired with the delicious Zibibbo wine that was recommended to us. Everything was perfect: from the dishes to the service, to the welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area... or coming specifically for it; it's definitely worth it!

09/11/2025: Returned today The crispy fried frittata was delicious, the obligatory "S. Gennaro" hat was inexplicable, plus the two friendly and courteous girls at the tables. They were served and gone in half an hour with the pizzeria full. I've been to many well-known pizzerias where you have to queue for hours, but often it's the name, not the quality of the food. In this case, 5 stars aren't enough...see you soon 😉

07/07/2025: I had pizza here because it was recommended to me and I really wasn't disappointed. Aside from the goodness and quality of the food, the care in the preparation and the attention to tradition, a kindness towards the customer that you don't see often. These guys really deserve it. PS in addition to the pizzas, I recommend you absolutely try the frittatine which are the original ones made in batter and that remain dry and the crocché which were divine, only grandma made them like this.

18/10/2025: Beautiful hotel, great view and location! Helpful porters to get your bags and bring them back to dock. Room furnishings a little dated but very clean. Air conditioning also worked really well and room came equipped with a steamer which was really helpful as most hotels don’t have irons for you to use.

17/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, which was a pleasant atmosphere! Away from the main city it gave a sense of paradise and serenity. We had the garden view room and were not disappointed. Beds were comfy and clean, room was spacious, bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a delightful added bonus for us. Service was great as well. Room service was respectful and prompt. Making quick work go clean the room. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic! One of our favorite meals in our 10day honeymoon in Italy. The gnachetti with braised lamb and the slow-cooked pork shoulder were absolutely delicious!

19/10/2025: They're always super kind and helpful, and they make me feel special. Lots of delicious snacks to share, all excellent quality and at prices that make you want to come back again. From Thursday to Saturday, you have to wait a while for a seat, but that's fair.

24/08/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, dynamic manager, attentive staff. The outside is nice, but the barrel-shaped stools are uncomfortable. The wine is good. The food is made up of small bites, not comparable to dinner; it's more suitable for an aperitif.

24/11/2025: The kindness of the staff and the hostess are exceptional, not to mention the exquisite dishes, starting with a Genoese lady, paccheti alla campagnola, and a steak that despite its 1300 grams melted like butter. Truly, congratulations!

08/10/2025: Great food, you gotta take a water taxi there, it’s free with their shuttle with red fish at certain times but if you wanna leave early like us gotta pay for way back 30E. Well worth it tho, rustic local cuisine, friendly service. Polpo salad was delish.

30/09/2025: The boat transfer is a mini trip in itself and a nice way to see Positano and the surrounding area from the water. A nice beach for swimming. In my opinion they shouldn't charge extra for their deck chairs, but the Italian's overcharge for every possible opportunity, which they should improve upon. We had a few different grilled seafood dishes and they were excellent. The side of grilled vegetables was small. Overall a nice day out. It's a minimum half day activity as the return only starts from 4 pm.

19/09/2025: Spectacular location, good food, and Rino and Claudia make you feel right at home. Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: We had lunch on this charming terrace overlooking Lake Fusaro on a sunny Sunday. We sat outside on the veranda to fully enjoy the view and the warm day (despite it still being only February!) The service was cheerful, the menu short and concise. The wine selection was limited overall. We were nevertheless well advised on choosing a sparkling wine. The appetizer was pleasant, the first course al dente (worth an extra point!), and the dessert delicious (wisely recommended as a share). A complimentary liqueur and coffee were also included. The price was in line with expectations. We then lingered for a stroll to the nearby Casina Vanvitelliana. I will gladly return, even for a sunset aperitif.

18/10/2025: L'Espresso is one of my favorite places, where the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, the service is quick and efficient, and the staff are always helpful and attentive, ready to accommodate our every request. The coffee is excellent, and I recommend the espresso aperitif with a nice alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink. The pancakes were excellent and full of Nutella.

05/12/2025: An excellent place to spend an evening, filled with good taste, authentic food, courtesy, and friendliness. The food was delicious, from the first to the last course. Every time I'm in the area, I never miss an opportunity to dine there. Congratulations!

19/10/2025: A quaint, well-maintained restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner, who kindly guided us through the selection of dishes, both traditional and more classic. We ate wonderfully: excellent meats, delicious appetizers, and truly delicious traditional delicacies. Ample space both inside and out, with convenient adjacent parking. Highly recommended.

25/09/2025: surrounded by greenery, large spaces, exquisite food and Michele is uniquely kind. When we return to Padre Pio we will return to eat here.
