22/10/2025: Super friendly people. Unfortunately, we were there four hours before opening. The waiter simply gave us some food that was just being prepared in the kitchen. It was incredibly delicious and one of the best things we ate on our Italian vacation.

19/10/2025: On the recommendation of some friends, we decided to try this small restaurant in Controne, the city of beans. Their specialty, the Controne bean, is the protagonist of the entire menu, from appetizers to main courses. We were served by Donato, extremely kind and helpful, who carefully recommended dishes and an excellent wine to pair. We started with a platter of local cured meats and goat's cheese, served with fresh bread. The beans in olive oil were truly delicious, accompanied by crostini and crusco peppers. The handmade pappardelle with beans were a delightful surprise: simple yet rich in flavor. To finish, we chose a dessert with ricotta and fig jam, paired with the delicious Zibibbo wine that was recommended to us. Everything was perfect: from the dishes to the service, to the welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area... or coming specifically for it; it's definitely worth it!

18/10/2025: Beautiful hotel, great view and location! Helpful porters to get your bags and bring them back to dock. Room furnishings a little dated but very clean. Air conditioning also worked really well and room came equipped with a steamer which was really helpful as most hotels don’t have irons for you to use.

13/11/2025: I recently visited this pizzeria and was delighted with both the quality of the food and the service. The fried foods are perfect, both for their crispy, dry breading and the filling. They offer options for both classic and more contemporary tastes (cacio e pepe frittatas, croquettes filled with sausage and broccoli rabe, parmigiana and meatballs, and more). As for pizzas, we also tried one of their specialties, the Genovese pizza. The meat and onion melted in your mouth, thanks in part to the quality of the dough, which was very digestible. The addition of crispy onion at the end added a touch of sweetness, creating a perfect contrast of textures without being heavy. We also tried classic pizzas like the Margherita, the Marinara, and the Bufala, all delicious and well-balanced thanks in part to the high-quality ingredients. Equally important was the courtesy and professionalism of the staff and owners, who made us feel at home and accommodated our every request. If you find yourself in Pomigliano d'Arco, I highly recommend this experience; you'll surely be satisfied.

01/10/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday. The location was very charming, the atmosphere clean, the service efficient, and above all, the food was good and very well cooked. We were relaxed and comfortable. It was an experience we will repeat.

16/08/2025: I rarely leave reviews because my husband and I often travel unplanned, so we end up eating at the first place we come across, with almost always disappointing results. However, this little restaurant on the edge of the Taburno Park pleasantly surprised us! The location is exceptional, surrounded by simple, well-decorated greenery. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially considering we arrived unannounced and late at night. And the food...what can I say? You can taste the passion they put into it. Simple dishes are enhanced by the authenticity and freshness of the ingredients. I was amazed to find gnocco fritto (which I never thought I'd eat at these latitudes 😄) prepared to perfection, and everything else was excellent. The price, too, is truly fair. The mulberry liqueur they make is simply divine! We hope to return soon to spend at least a couple of days.

19/09/2025: The Antica Cales bar in Calvi is a quaint and welcoming place, perfect for breakfast, coffee breaks, and aperitifs. With a family atmosphere and friendly service, it's a popular meeting place for residents and visitors in the heart of town.

22/11/2025: I stayed at this hotel and it was one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had in Italy. The food was honestly awful, which is surprising in a country known for its cuisine. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely not the place. I ended up in the middle of a loud birthday party held on a weekday that went on until the early hours of the morning, and the lack of soundproofing made it impossible to sleep. You can hear everything from the neighbouring rooms, even someone using the bathroom. Breakfast was terrible as well. To make things worse, the hotel is right next to a railway line, so there is constant noise. I would never return and I cannot recommend this place to anyone seeking comfort or rest.

02/11/2025: Even though it was autumn, the garden was very well-kept, and the staff, both in the dining room and at reception, were kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, though it was a shame about the smoke smell. The dinner was excellent.

20/09/2025: This is our second time eating here. Everything is delicious!!! (And it's Saturday night.) The guys are incredibly kind and talented, the fried foods are extraordinary, and the pizzas...delicious!!! We only managed to take two photos; we devoured the rest 😂😂

14/12/2025: A high-end grill restaurant, a refined, unique, and welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and very professional staff. We were three families with six children, and they immediately seated us at one table. The menu included several courses, very well described, from appetizers to main courses, from wines to desserts. We had appetizers, first courses, and second courses, all excellent quality. The first courses were served in a special way, and the meat was cooked very carefully. A truly sublime and very special dinner... excellent.

10/12/2025: Know that knowing you're entering... won't guarantee you'll get out. On the evening of December 8th, I went to eat at this steakhouse with some friends, and we thought we'd had the opportunity to meet Artem from Mare Fuori, but the way he turned around was truly shocking. I've never followed Mare Fuori much, but after what happened that evening, I was shocked. Online, this actor seems very calm and, above all, a person of sound principles, but what we experienced was surreal. A friend of mine, very emotional, asked him for a photo in a very polite manner. At that point, he reacted horribly: he screamed, approached aggressively, and my friend even got kicked out of nowhere, hurting himself. The absurd thing is that his relatives, sitting at the table right across from him, did absolutely nothing. The restaurant simply told us that "he wasn't feeling well tonight and that he was on drugs," as if it were normal. Furthermore, as we were leaving, after threatening us with a huge knife to cut meat, he put it down at the staff's request (I wonder how anyone could trust such a knife to someone in such deplorable conditions), yelling, insulting us, and chasing us until we managed to lock ourselves in the car. And I think this accurately describes the type of person he really is, and the staff who work here. I'm sharing my testimony here too, after my comment under a TikTok video about this place was deleted.

06/11/2025: How do you articulate the experience at Dal Patriarca? You just have to go there and have it for yourself. We walked 1 hour uphill to get there…and then had the most fantastic experience. These folks are the real deal. You cannot visit Vico and not dine here!
