09/11/2025: Recommended on Marriott Renaissance web site. Great fine dining experience in Napoli! Negronis were top notch. Baby octopus delicious! pasta with iberico pork meatballs exceptional. Wait staff were great. Yummy ice cream with nuts to finish. Tasted each red they had before choosing our glass. highly recommend!!

30/10/2025: Very tasty! Keep in mind that the portions are large. The dishes are Villeroy&Boch. And the service is pleasant.

17/10/2025: A hot dish like pasta and potatoes, let's call it that, served on a cold plate... I won't be going back. We paid a fortune for what we ate; the food was good at Barone when Father was there; I think only the name has stuck.

We had no doubts or hesitations; it was the perfect backdrop for our most beautiful day. And that day, everything was FLAWLESS, PERFECT. A location that needs no great description because it speaks for itself. Meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. You can feel all the attention and care the owners have for their villa. The food was delicious, flavorful, and exquisite. Our guests loved it, and we're so happy everything went so smoothly. But this can only be achieved by relying on people who do their job with passion, and we were lucky to find them. We hope future spouses choose them; you won't regret it. 06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

01/10/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday. The location was very charming, the atmosphere clean, the service efficient, and above all, the food was good and very well cooked. We were relaxed and comfortable. It was an experience we will repeat.

16/08/2025: I rarely leave reviews because my husband and I often travel unplanned, so we end up eating at the first place we come across, with almost always disappointing results. However, this little restaurant on the edge of the Taburno Park pleasantly surprised us! The location is exceptional, surrounded by simple, well-decorated greenery. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially considering we arrived unannounced and late at night. And the food...what can I say? You can taste the passion they put into it. Simple dishes are enhanced by the authenticity and freshness of the ingredients. I was amazed to find gnocco fritto (which I never thought I'd eat at these latitudes 😄) prepared to perfection, and everything else was excellent. The price, too, is truly fair. The mulberry liqueur they make is simply divine! We hope to return soon to spend at least a couple of days.

05/10/2025: Amazing place on the beach! We arrived by boat but you can reach there with the bus as well. They serve everything in the restaurant or on the beach! Staff was amazing ! We really enjoyed this place !

25/09/2025: On a day when we didn't feel like having pasta or pizza, we decided to order cotoleta and to our surprise it was very good. It's breaded meat, but the breaded pastry was very good and out of the ordinary. The fries were very good. The people were super friendly and smiling. Afterwards, we asked for help getting sun loungers on the beach and they promptly called the manager who was also super friendly. I suggest having lunch there and then going to their beach; it was the best beach I've been to in this area of ​​Naples. Oh! Great sea view from the restaurant.

20/11/2025: The restaurant is hidden away in a narrow street, accessed by a picturesque old alley. The service is of the highest standard. The restaurant's decor is reminiscent of the old style, and the walls are adorned with artistic drawings and small curiosities, creating a unique, warm atmosphere. The food is delicious.

18/10/2025: Beautiful hotel, great view and location! Helpful porters to get your bags and bring them back to dock. Room furnishings a little dated but very clean. Air conditioning also worked really well and room came equipped with a steamer which was really helpful as most hotels don’t have irons for you to use.

17/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, which was a pleasant atmosphere! Away from the main city it gave a sense of paradise and serenity. We had the garden view room and were not disappointed. Beds were comfy and clean, room was spacious, bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a delightful added bonus for us. Service was great as well. Room service was respectful and prompt. Making quick work go clean the room. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic! One of our favorite meals in our 10day honeymoon in Italy. The gnachetti with braised lamb and the slow-cooked pork shoulder were absolutely delicious!

17/08/2025: A favorite osteria. Local dishes expertly prepared. Absolutely not to be missed. All ingredients are local. From appetizers to dessert, including the wines, a splendid dining experience. The spezzate candles with goat chop are a must.

13/08/2025: We had lunch on this charming terrace overlooking Lake Fusaro on a sunny Sunday. We sat outside on the veranda to fully enjoy the view and the warm day (despite it still being only February!) The service was cheerful, the menu short and concise. The wine selection was limited overall. We were nevertheless well advised on choosing a sparkling wine. The appetizer was pleasant, the first course al dente (worth an extra point!), and the dessert delicious (wisely recommended as a share). A complimentary liqueur and coffee were also included. The price was in line with expectations. We then lingered for a stroll to the nearby Casina Vanvitelliana. I will gladly return, even for a sunset aperitif.
