16/03/2025: Abstain vegans. For all the other excellent restaurants where the strong point is mainly grilled meat, but there is no shortage of tartare and some other preparations. The vegetable side dishes are good and allow those who don't particularly like meat to have a satiating and tasty meal. Good desserts, homemade, and fair price.

03/03/2025: I celebrated my son's graduation and we were very satisfied with both the food, the beautiful location and the super friendly staff ready to satisfy our every request. I will definitely return.

02/03/2025: RECOMMENDED TO TRY We stopped for lunch with a group of friends. Very nice and well-kept place with large outdoor accommodation that suggests beautiful situations in summer. It has two rooms on two floors. Fast and courteous service. We ordered a really plentiful and quality house starter including cured meats (excellent raw ham), cheeses, ricotta, tripe, bean soup, potato pies and pork tracchie (one portion is also good for three people). Then we had some first courses and some meat. The first courses are very abundant and delicious (two people can eat them). The tender meat cooked perfectly, spectacular side potatoes... We paid €30 each... I recommend it and we will return

18/03/2025: I'll call you at 7.00 pm sharp, 4 pizzas, a pistachio, 2 piterpans and a filling, they'll bring it to me at 8.00 pm, I had already asked them to be kind enough to be quick because I had to go to work, this and the result, the filling broken in the oven instead of changing it sends me cold and sticky like inedible glue it's fine so it doesn't matter

11/12/2024: Superlative pizza, without excluding all the other dishes. A lot of care and attention was paid to the choice of raw materials; you can feel it at the table. You just can't give up Angela's desserts, even when you have a full belly. They are fantastic, both in taste and in presentation. The staff is very kind and professional. The venue is intimate and welcoming. Good assortment of wines. Excellent quality/price ratio. For anyone who wants to enjoy truly good pizza, I strongly recommend it.

The fantastic welcome from the owners, the authenticity and delicacy of the dishes, with the sublime dessert at the end, made in home, made the day top notch and unforgettable! We will definitely return and I highly recommend both for the fish cuisine and for the classic Neapolitan cuisine.

08/01/2025: Locale con cibo sublime, tipico, titolari super accoglienti. Siamo stati benissimo! Hanno un cuore d'oro e hanno preparato piatti fantastici! Tutto veramente squisito, da leccarsi i baffi! Da Barese ci ritornerò mooolto volentieri!

15/03/2025: Locale ben curato e molto accogliente, panini davvero buoni e patatine squisite. Unica nota negativa era la birra non era fredda . Ma per il resto è davvero ottimo . Personale molto gentile e cordiale. Prezzo davvero ottimo e i dolci sono buonissimi soprattutto il tiramisù fatto da loro complimenti. Noi ritorniamo di sicuro

23/02/2025: I’m a man who loves to cook and eat. I’ve lived in just about every where in the world except for the Far East. When I eat out somewhere I look at the Food First, the service second and the price last. I’m open to trying just about anything once and twice of if I like it. I can tell you this…Gary’s Pub checks all my boxes. Great food, unbelievable service and good prices. It is a Pleasure To eat here and as far as I’m concerned if you don’t try this place you are doing yourself a disservice. The food is a mix of Italian and Polish food. I’m a steak and veggie man and to date every steak I’ve ever had there was amazing. I’ve had other food there and they have never missed the mark. A great selection of beers and wines and a fairly stocked bar. If you want a great meal with great service this is the place for you and your family. As I told the staff there tonight there is only one place better than this and that’s my house. Go, Eat and Enjoy.

13/03/2025: Clearly aimed at locals An attractive and intimate restaurant in a picturesque part of the city, clearly aimed at local visitors. The handwritten menu is entirely in Italian and difficult to read. The portions are small. The antipasti were interesting, but nothing special. The fossili was disappointing – perhaps other dishes are better, but I won't find out. The internet connection is weak inside and payment by card is only possible at the entrance door. That is outdated. Prices are average to slightly above average considering the portions. A charming place less suitable for outside visitors.

07/03/2025: This was my favorite restaurant from my travels in Italy. I was introduced to the restaurant by my Italian language school that had arranged a cooking class there. It was interesting to see how they constructed this delicious food and the good ingredients that went into it. The Parmigiana di melanzane and the Polpette di broccoli al forno were very good. I liked it so much I went back another time.

09/03/2025: Location veramente bella, prenotato pacchetto con visita cantina,pranzo con bevande e degustazione ad un prezzo di euro 70 per persona. La visita inizia ore 11 ( orario deciso da loro) e dura scarsa un'oretta (a onor del vero la signora molto preparata), dopodiché siamo stati più di un'ora ad aspettare il pranzo. Siete un'azienda vinicola,avreste fatto a dir poco una bella figura se offrivate un bicchiere per ingannare l'attesa, dovuta cmq a un vostro errore di calcolo delle tempistiche. Il pranzo consisteva in 4 ravioli (4 di numero) con pomodorini e circa 50 g di maialino (senza contorno). Una fetta di pane a testa e il dolce(sorpresa dello chef, riportato nel pacchetto). La degustazione INESISTENTE. Per degustazione si intende un percorso in cui, qualcuno di preparato, ti spiega cosa stai bevendo e perché lo si abbina a quella pietanza. A noi é stato dato un bicchiere ,( due in totale,uno per il primo e uno per il secondo),con scarse due dita di vino a bicchiere da due cameriere senza nessun tipo di spiegazione. Prezzo quindi elevatissimo per quanto mangiato e "bevuto", perché appunto si é trattato in totale di scarso un bicchiere di vino a testa .nessuna degustazione con spiegazione. Per carità, scelta personale ma ci hanno fatto pagare anche due caffè, eravamo in sei, abbiamo speso in totale 159 a coppia... Magari due caffè potevate anche offrirli. Insomma il fatto che facciate del buon vino non significa che siate anche in grado di fornire un adeguata ricettività e cura del cliente. Bastano gesti veramente piccoli per fare molto meglio.

02/03/2025: Con un gruppo di amici siamo stati a pranzo presso questa struttura La location è veramente molto bella Abbiamo ricevuto un’ottima accoglienza ed abbiamo mangiato benissimo Tutto il personale è gentile La signora Avallone è di una cortesia unica Forse l’unica cosa da migliorare sono i tempi un po’ lunghi tra una portata e l’altra! Consiglio vivamente di visitare Villa Matilde…anche per gli ottimi vini 😊👍

25/12/2024: Pay attention!!! Excellent restaurant! Amazing! Crazy! Among the best I've been to! We ate fish, pasta catu a pepe, dessert tiramisu and more and more it was amazing, not cheap but worth every shekel
