Hi all - I want to share some pictures of the wonderful meal and wine tasting we joyed last night at Mariella Fratellini’s restaurant in Monte di Procida, La Taverna dei Sapori. I lost track, but I think a six course meal, all Neapolitan themed Christmas dishes and one more tasty than the next, especially with the expertly paired wines! If you like REALLY good food, prepared especially for you, connect with her on FB and go enjoy her kitchen and the love that comes out of it! ===== original post ===== We visited here this evening because we have been following her wonderful posts on FB for years and now that we have returned to Napoli we had the chance to check it out in person! We shared the restaurant with only one other family tonight. The food was VERY good. The bruschetta may have been the best ever! Fresh, garlicky and just a touch salty - overall perfect! The wine pairing that she recommended was excellent! I had the orchiaetta pasta and my wife had zuppe di cozze and my son has seafood pasta. All three dishes were a hit! (My other son had risotto and it was not great - but in true fashion she didn’t charge us for it, since he didn’t eat it.) A wonderful meal and I look forward to returning soon, especially after so many years away!

19/08/2024: Il baccalà è assente in tutti i piatti, il poco che viene servito è semplicemente bollito ed aggiunto alle pietanze, inoltre risulta stopposo. Esperienza da non ripetere

07/08/2024: Captivating and particular environment in tune with the main product of the house. High quality and the price is in line with the food, they should improve the service, the dishes cannot be brought in fits and starts, in the end it seemed that each of us had dinner separately, let the others do it. In my opinion the staff should be slightly increased or better organised, but despite everything it is worth a visit, the product is top notch. Well done.

15/11/2023: Reserved a table via the restaurant's website (using the Quandoo reservation service). I received confirmation of the reservation. It did state that if I did not show up without cancellation at least 24 hours in advance, an amount of €48 would be charged. Received a reminder email the day before the booking with a request for confirmation. Confirmed of course. To the restaurant tonight: closed! Can I now charge Quandoo or the restaurant €48 for a ruined birthday surprise for my wife? 2023-11-15: Thanks for the response. I rate Google as less reliable than reports on your own website. We have experienced that several times. Unfortunately, the days we still have here are already fully planned. I have adjusted the rating slightly.

04/08/2024: I haven't eaten a pizza like this for several years, the pizza is truly excellent, especially the ingredients, all in a splendid, well-furnished and welcoming location with attentive and precise staff. This is what I said a few months ago, but yesterday the quality of the pizza dropped a lot, especially the bufalina which was presented to me as a banal margherita with quite approximate ingredients. Prices too high for banal commercial beers.

05/08/2024: Consiglio Attimi Divini per vari motivi: ci sono stata sia per aperitivi che per serate organizzate di degustazione ma anche semplicemente per acquistare vini o champagne da regalare o da portare a cena a casa di amici, sempre ben consigliata dal sommelier!! Ampia scelta di vini, prodotti di qualità, ambiente accogliente tranquillo e ben frequentato,personale gentile e cordiale.. nel cuore di Napoli,una vineria di "gusto"!
