06/09/2025: Avevo già avuto modo di assaggiare la pizza di Retrobanco, ma solo da asporto. Ieri sera finalmente insieme con amici ci siamo accomodati. E vi dico subito che è una esperienza eccezionale. Pizza fritta con ricotta a senza, A modo mio...che è una marinara...con piccole variazioni...la Lardiata con lardo e burrata è una pizza da urlo. E dopo tutto questo assaggiare...leggero.... grazie al proprietario per questa eccellenza. Locale piccolo ma curatissimo. 5 stelle supermeritate...

After 30 minutes, we only got our appetizers (bruschetta and croissants), we got bread in a pot(!!!) full of rust (see photo), and after an hour we were told we'd have to wait another 15 minutes for the main course... so we left! We don't recommend this place!

16/11/2025: I went here since rating was decent. Unfortunately, very bad choice. We were the only ones there for lunch and service was very slow to get our food out to us. Waited 20 mins or more. We only ordered main dishes. The baccola dish I had came cold so be aware of this and my friend’s salmon dish was not tasty just covered in pistachio crust.

17/10/2025: Given the positive reviews, we went to this pizzeria for a quick bite before returning to work. We booked about ten minutes before our arrival, and the lady on the phone very kindly reserved a table for us anyway. When we arrived, we sat down and looked at the menu. It was difficult to choose because they have such a wide variety. We ordered four fried pasta and potatoes for two and some small fillings. We asked for quick service since we had to return to work, even though it was quite busy. We were served immediately. The pasta and potatoes were really good. Recommended place.

10/11/2025: Total disappointment. We went to this restaurant last night and, unfortunately, the experience was terrible. The appetizers were already a complete disappointment: the cured meats seemed to have been cut the day before, oxidized, and their flavor was off. Among the "hot" dishes, a dish with pumpkin, pesto, and zucchini smelled sour and was completely inedible. The parmigiana was a decent find, but the frittatina was disappointing. Even though we left most of the dishes uneaten, no one bothered to ask if everything was okay or if there were any problems. The Black Angus steak was the icing on the cake (in a bad way): sinewy, dry, burnt at the edges, and sliced ​​so thin that it became dry in a few seconds on the stone. The only positive notes: the escarole and baked potatoes were delicious. Final bill: around €170, truly excessive for the quality offered. When the food is good, you're happy to pay for it, but here we had the impression that the food was stale and the ingredients were poor. We won't be returning.

31/10/2025: I come here often for lunch, and every time it's a fantastic experience. The food is delicious, carefully prepared, and made with quality ingredients: both the fish and meat are excellent. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and always available. The owner is always present and does everything he can to make you feel at home and have a wonderful experience, without ever being intrusive. He truly manages to satisfy everyone, even the most demanding palates, and takes care of every detail with care. A place where you eat well, feel good, and leave with a smile. Highly recommended! ❤️

27/10/2025: A restaurant opposite the beach, the seating is nice and enjoyable, and after swimming, the nearest restaurant where you can eat is the food is delicious. We ordered a delicious Margherita pizza, and zucchini pizza for those who like it, but it didn’t suit me, and the Penne Arrabbiata pasta with red sauce was delicious, and the fettuccine with red sauce was delicious.

14/10/2025: If you like a foul restaurant smell (a mix of chlorine and old dog sweat), loud music on the radio, loud singing from the kitchen staff, overly salted and undercooked pasta, filthy toilets, a sticky floor, a male owner who urinates in the women's restroom while standing; then this is the place for you. Enjoy it. It's a miracle we didn't get sick. We ate a little of our first courses (very large portions, mind you). But it was too salty, the pasta was really undercooked, and the taste was bland. Next time, we should trust our instincts and be less confident that "it would all be alright." The rancid smell upon entering should have been enough of a warning. What a joke; this restaurant. So it's no wonder there were hardly any guests.

The food was excellent, and perfectly priced, and the staff were lovely. The owner is a wonderful man, who chatted with us and shared stories from his life (e giardino!) while we waited - andrea your grappa and melanzane were buonissimo! 21/08/2025: Two bad experiences on the same day. I line up at the register to order, and the lady tells me that if I sit at the table, a girl will come and take my order. I go to the table and wait to order. Finally, I ask for the bill and want to pay, but I'm told to go back to the register and wait in line to pay. They charge a 10% service charge, but the service isn't complete; in fact, it's completely absent if I have to wait in line twice to pay. What's the surcharge? Is it because they carry my order 3 meters to the table when I could have brought it myself? I agree that the service charge is due if that's their business policy, but I need to get quality service and not just a markup on my receipt. The second reason for my vote comes from a 6-year-old girl's desire to have only two cherries to eat (the €1.30 croissants include three included in the price). They brought him four on a small plate, and finally on the bill I found the word "Moroccan" written on it for €1.50. They explained to me that this was the cost of the cherries, but they didn't include the word "cherries." I pointed out that they had applied an arbitrary, undisclosed price of €1.50, which was higher than the €1.30 for the croissant with cream and cherries, which even included them. I also found this gesture rude from a shopkeeper.
