17/08/2025: The bread is definitely the company's best product. I believe, without fear of contradiction, that it is among the best in Irpinia. When it is well-crafted and baked, it can be eaten safely even after 5 or 6 days.

04/07/2025: Trattoria al borgo marinai di Napoli con tavoli all'aperto che affacciano sul mare. Ottimo rapporto qualita prezzo. Abbiamo preso fritturine di calamarelle per antipasto e pesce alla griglia come piatto principale. Tutto molto buono. Ho apprezzato molto la cordialità dei proprietari. Consigliatissimo!
01/06/2025: Paramos aquí para almorzar, y nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. La comida estaba bien, y significativamente más barato que en los restaurantes más elegantes de todo el mundo. Un montón de mariscos frescos en el menú, el vino de la casa era decente, y la vista sobre el puerto del barco era muy agradable. Pagamos solo 55€ por una ensalada de pulpo, dos primi y una botella de agua cada uno y la casa blanca. Solo hay unas pocas mesas al aire libre, así que ven temprano en un fin de semana si quieres conseguir una mesa para el almuerzo!

10/09/2025: We ate there, we had an appetizer, the frasca, made up of many delicious little things: polenta with truffle, ricotta with truffle, pappacelle with truffle, mozzarella, prosciutto, Neapolitan salami, spicy salami, mixed grilled vegetables, priced at 10 euros, unheard of.
The first course was ravioli with ricotta, dusted with truffle on a bed of tomato, excellent, priced at 8 euros, they were absurd.
Finally, tiramisu was 4 euros, coffee 1 euro.
Everything was excellent, I included the prices because I wanted to compliment the very high quality at low prices.
My heartfelt compliments, we'll be back. I forgot, fast service, kind and courteous staff.
P.S. grappa was 2 euros, out of this world 😘

11/10/2025: We've been there several times because it's one of the few places with a playground for children, but each time we told ourselves it was the last time.
They have a fairly varied selection, but in my opinion, they don't have any signature dishes. From the open kitchen, you can see they have piles of pre-cooked sandwiches and burgers, which they perhaps pre-order to get through orders more quickly. The result, however, is that what arrives at your table is almost always cold (ditto for the fries) and doesn't correspond to your specific request (like rare).
The staff is generally friendly, some extremely affable and helpful, others (especially one brunette with long hair) almost throw their plate in front of you as if they were doing you a favor.
On Saturday, we witnessed numerous disgruntled customers complaining about the same things, and we realized that perhaps we weren't exaggerating.
And to make matters worse, they charge, so the place is anything but cheap for the quality of the food served. Receipt optional if you don't ask...
09/10/2025: At just 28 years old, Frank Cavaliere is making a name for himself as one of the most exciting emerging pizza chefs in the Phlegraean Fields. His pizza is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, a dough that speaks of passion and knowledge of the ingredients.
The one pictured is a Margherita made with the direct melt-in-the-mouth method, where every detail speaks of care and sensitivity: a well-aired and slightly speckled crust, a sign of impeccable cooking in a wood-fired oven, and a soft yet firm base that accommodates tomato, mozzarella, and fresh basil. A drizzle of olive oil and a light sprinkling of pepper enhance the aromas and flavors.
The dough is light, aromatic, and digestible, with that melt-in-the-mouth feel that only those who truly understand timing and temperatures can achieve.
Frank is a curious and meticulous pizza chef, experimenting with flours and hydration methods without ever straying from the authentic soul of Neapolitan pizza.
You can find his creations at Fab&Fud in Pozzuoli, where every Frank Cavaliere pizza becomes a little tale of flavor and local tradition.
A name to remember, because the future of Phlegraean pizza has already found one of its protagonists. 🍕🔥

02/09/2025: We went to this beach in person 20 days before our vacation to ask if there was availability for an umbrella for a certain period. They explained to us that the situation wasn't easy for them (which I understand). They also said there wouldn't be any problems, the space would be available; we just had to contact them a few days in advance.
We wrote a few days before and they told us that the entire period wasn't available and that three days would be vacant. That's fine. They gave us the price (which wasn't the one we'd discussed, but that's fine; it was a busy day, she must have been confused). We tried to negotiate the price a bit and were told that they weren't a stall and that they don't hold auctions. That's fine, we apologize and accept, and we send the deposit.
On our first day under the umbrella, the weather was practically unbearable, and the lady kindly advised us not to go down and that she would let us make up for it. This gesture was appreciated, and we promptly repaid her by eating (deliciously) on the beach despite having a house just a few meters away and a supermarket right next door.
The surprise is that, if you get a period of uncertain weather (and I don't mean bad weather), the lines for umbrellas are halved and the party begins, something we obviously hadn't been told about (just like the shower, which isn't included in the umbrella rental; it's €15, including a €5 deposit for a card—well, that's fine, too).
Basically, if it weren't for the staff at the bar, the spotlessly clean open kitchen, and the empathetic and professional lifeguards, this review would have one star. From the moment the lines are halved, everyone RIGHTFULLY wants the service they paid for, the place they paid for. Since it was frequented by a very relaxed, adult, and well-mannered clientele, there were no major problems for 10 days. The beach was self-managed, except that on the last day, an argument broke out between the beachgoers and the owner (who pretended to be the manager) came down and asked my pregnant partner and I to move the umbrella we'd paid for because she thought we wouldn't be going on the last day (despite the fact that it was expensive) and that we hadn't told them the days before that we'd be using it until the last day. And then, last but not least, she said, "Go to the back row because I'm in charge here and I make decisions." We didn't start any arguments; we simply pointed out that we were under the umbrella assigned to us.
They're lucky because they're in an area with few alternatives: a tiny beach with umbrellas glued together. Your lounger is practically glued to the one next to it, maybe 20-30cm apart at most, so anyone in that area is almost forced to use it. The alternative would be the public beach.
There were four of us (my partner, my parents, and I), but every day we set up our umbrellas on the public beach (since we'd brought them for the open-air days), so as not to crowd together even more (also because it's prohibited by the rules).
Since it's very likely that this will be denied, I'm attaching a photo, one of which shows how the water practically rises, forcing us to remove the umbrellas (which really bothers me, and in fact we were silent for the entire duration of the holiday, and despite this, we were told who's in charge and who's not). Kindness is probably mistaken for foolishness.

07/09/2025: A fantastic experience at Borgo di Mare: friendly and knowledgeable staff, sublime food—high-quality, fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it.
03/09/2025: I hadn't dined at Borgo since it was renovated, so taking advantage of a quieter late-summer evening, I decided to try it with some friends.
The location is very well-maintained, with wooden tables and benches giving way to more modern and elegant furnishings that blend perfectly with the splendid setting of Acciaroli's harbor. The new, fully open kitchen is also very attractive.
I really enjoyed the appetizers, both raw and cooked, where I found great respect for the raw ingredients, which remain the protagonist even in the more elaborate dishes.
For the first course, I opted for the linguine with prawns, a simple dish but truly excellent in flavor.
The desserts also deserve special mention; we tried several, all very good (but if I could have, I would have eaten 12 ricotta flowers!).
The value for money was good considering the location, service, and overall quality of the dinner.

14/09/2025: I'm not used to eating ice cream out of passion, I was at a friend's house, and they ordered a tub of hazelnut ice cream, Kinder and some other flavors that I don't remember, while I was eating I found a nail inside, the worst thing that could ever happen to me, I will never eat ice cream with their name on it again 🤢🤮
16/07/2025: Very good ice cream, great variety of flavors. They also have lactose-free versions, not just fruit. I recommend it.
