20/10/2025: The chestnut pastries I bought in the square, while nice-looking, tasted moldy. Nothing like the ones I've bought elsewhere. And three different items: a swirl, a piece of tart, and a sfogliatella.

19/10/2025: Renovated, very nice place. Desserts a bit disappointing: 2 trays of Castagnole bought directly from the pastry shop, a bit old, at least 2 days old. €20 per kg. The chestnut tart was tasteless. €1.50 per piece.

13/02/2026: Very friendly staff, light yet filling pizza, perfect location, and excellent value. We ate in a wooden barrel, two of us. We ordered fries in the middle, two pizzas, a Coke, and water for €35. Very cheap for such unique pizzas.

05/05/2026: I was there a few weeks ago for an 18th birthday party and I have to say the food wasn't great and the disorganization was at its worst. Never again.

15/11/2025: One word: flawless!!!! We celebrated our son's first birthday...we made a great impression, congratulations from everyone!! Salvatore was available from the start, with everything...the menu, the decor, the guests...that day he delighted us with his cooking, everything was truly delicious, so good that we don't have photos of the dishes...but for the first time ever...we celebrated an event without wanting to change a thing about how it went! A perfect day!! That's what happens when you deal with people who love their work!!!!

08/05/2026: This morning we went to Bar Calise to try the famous Ischian croissant, and the experience was truly excellent. At the counter, we were greeted by Raffaella, who was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She carefully explained all the products and even recommended what to try. We chose the classic Ischian croissants with cream and black cherry, along with the apricot and chocolate versions. The dough was incredibly soft, light, and literally melted in the mouth: truly delicious. Not content with that, we also wanted to try the Viennese pastries, ordering a pain au chocolat, an almond pan suisse, and a dark chocolate croissant. Everything was delicious, made with great care and using quality ingredients. It's really hard to find anything negative: friendly service, excellent products, and a wide selection. A must-see for anyone visiting Ischia and looking for a memorable breakfast.

12/04/2026: I came here on purpose because I was sure I could try the scazzetta, a typical dessert from Salerno, I took the mini version, which the owner then claims is how this dessert is normally made, and then they also extended the recipe to a larger version, so I went away and ate it and I must say that it was special for its color but also very very good.

03/09/2025: I ordered a kebab without onion, but they made it with onion. The meat inside was raw and smelly. I'm not giving it a star because they also gave me a free mussel soup to eat with the kebab. So, 2 stars.
