02/06/2025: Very high and unjustified prices, €70 for an appetizer with 8 small pieces per person between raw (3 pieces) and cooked (5 pieces), we are talking about finger food. The quality of the fish is medium/low. The first course is salty, with overcooked lobster. However, in the area you can find much better at half the price. Unfortunately, since it was an improvisation, we did not have the opportunity to book in other restaurants and finding them all busy we ended up in this dump.

27/08/2025: Disclaimer: This review only concerns the pool area. This summer, it was our go-to spot, as we have two children and it's not far from home. The pool is always clean and has a non-slip coating, and the lounger area caters to all needs: there are shaded spots, sunny spots, and poolside areas... basically, something for everyone. The pool is surrounded by synthetic grass, which isn't always clean but can be fixed by wearing flip-flops, and swimming caps are required (very hygienic in my opinion, especially for someone like me who tends to lose hair). To the left of the entrance is the bar area, well-stocked with sandwiches, drinks, and appetizers (at reasonable prices, in my opinion), managed by friendly and helpful staff. This pool is an excellent choice if you want to spend a day in total relaxation and tranquility. It's primarily popular with families, especially due to the pool's varying and gradual depths. Gentlemen, I highly recommend it.

Casa Albero was not only food, but a comfortable environment with a board on the commandments of wine, which each time inspired a smile and reflection, because after all it was not just about wine. I understand that it is a time of boom in customers, but you can't eliminate an open kitchen and strip the walls of those same furnishings that together with good food gave a few hours of pure pleasure, for what? Yes, the food is always excellent, but the room is now insipid, bare, and when there are too many people the service inevitably drops because you find yourself with two waiters of dubious competence (no offense to the owner, but I have been repeatedly bumped into by hands and plates, and he ends up paying for their low competence). Recommended but, I repeat, only for the good food.

21/08/2025: One of the oldest pizzerias in San Giorgio a Cremano. Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Excellent pizza, so tender you can even enjoy the crust. For starters, I recommend the seafood risotto or the spaghetti with clams in white sauce. For main courses, try the fried shrimp and calamari or the sliced beef with arugula and parmesan shavings. The appetizers are also excellent. A wide selection of wines. Highly recommended.

03/05/2025: If you find yourself walking through the streets of the center of Ischia, perhaps waiting to board or just disembarked at the port, there is a small sandwich shop that is absolutely worth a stop. Don't expect a designer venue: the environment is rustic, simple, almost Spartan. But that's exactly where one of the best Nutella crepes you can enjoy on the island is hidden. The crepe is hot, thin but consistent, with perfect cooking that makes it soft at the right point. The Nutella filling is abundant and creamy, without skimping on quantity as often happens elsewhere. It is the ultimate comfort food, prepared with care and served with a smile. Even if the decor is not impressive, the quality of the products is evident and the attention to preparation makes the difference. A real treat for those looking for something good, fast and genuine in a very busy area. Recommended for a tasty break at any time of day.

26/07/2025: It was a pleasant discovery. Modern pizza dough, one of the most digestible. The pizza was really good. Outdoor seating is always welcome in the summer. Fair prices. The only shame is that street parking is a bit limited. Definitely worth a try.

Friendly owner who I thank for having also hosted my Pincher who was able to celebrate my birthday with me and my husband. We ate a delicious pizza and spent a special evening. 🥰 I highly recommend. Very good prices. We will happily return!

25/08/2025: Attracted by the reviews, we decided to try this restaurant, convenient for its location and opening hours (service begins at 7:30 PM). Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations: the scampi risotto only had the heads, and the only thing that was spot on was the cooking. The rest was a tomato and cheese soup (with scampi heads) for the modest sum of €20 per dish, and the minimum order is two dishes. We moved on to the fried food, which wasn't particularly good, but we noticed that some tables had richer dishes than others (for example, with anchovies, shrimp, etc.), so when paying, we asked for an explanation. Moreover, the same person who served the dining room was at the cash register. We were told (without any indication on the menu or by the waiter) that the fried food is based on what you order... but it would have been nice to consider the options, in my opinion... anyway, we spent almost €80 and didn't make a fuss. Having abandoned the idea of ​​​​first courses, on our last evening we ordered takeout pizzas: burned on the bottom and edges, without any seasoning... in short, it's not the best place we've been, but obviously that's my personal experience. I think there are better places in this area.

24/08/2025: A very popular place in the area, the place is nice but a bit dated. We ordered two spaghetti with clams, which remained unremarkable. They were without the seafood-inspired sauce, and the clams were a bit sparse. My daughter had the gluten-free pizza, while I had the mixed grilled fish... 30 euros for that dish seems really excessive. The service was courteous and attentive... We went in with high expectations based on how our friends had described it, but we left feeling a bit disappointed.
