20/02/2025: Unfortunately I don't like giving a place a bad review, but when necessary, it's right. I go to this "fishmonger" for a takeaway, I don't understand why they call themselves a fishmonger, since they aren't, however I go in and find a fog of smelly fried food smoke, and we're talking about 8pm, the place is empty, I can't imagine when the kitchen is in full operation, I order two fried prawns and calamari, and I leave immediately so as not to worry about fried food, I pay €30 for the two fried dishes, and I go home, at first glance they don't seem bad, clear but expensive for my parameters, the problem arises with the tasting, the prawns didn't peel but the carapace remained solid with the pulp, and completely flavourless, at the end of the meal we were left with a fried taste in our mouths but above all a heaviness not attributable to simple frying, I strongly advise against it, given that in the area there is no shortage of places where you can eat fish, and then I think that if you sit down, not only do your clothes have to be washed, but you have to take a shower if you don't want to "smell" like fried food, and for the quality offered it is decidedly expensive.

19/10/2024: Unfortunately everything changes, everything evolves. Yesterday at a dinner I had the feeling of being taken for cu...! 4 starters consisting of: fried anchovies (5), squid (2), marinated anchovies (2), octopus with salad, 2 stewed octopus, 4 sautéed flavorless prawns, a slice of tuna (like salami), 5 razor clams, I say 5. Second course: 1 fried fish (only cod and 2 mullets, I say 2), 1 grilled squid and bottle of wine €70. Moral: if the prices have been adjusted to the others, I go to the others. Simple equation. In short, it is no longer the place where you could eat well at reasonable prices, BEING a FISH SHOP, with lower costs compared to a restaurant... With €35 fixed menu at Tritone Pozzuoli. €35 from Stella Marina bacoli. Etc. etc I'm sorry after 11 years...

08/11/2024: We're not there. Nice place on the beach, the positive notes end here. In addition to sky-high prices, which are truly exaggerated, the service is terrible. We sit down to eat and after several minutes they only bring us water. Another twenty minutes of waiting and we finally manage to order, when whoever comes to the table hears that we only want the first course he blurts out saying "so you have to wait half an hour, today only first courses" We left, needless to say.

14/10/2024: Exquisite food, we were here passing through. We came to swim at the Puolo marina and decided to have lunch in this restaurant, the food is really good, especially the octopus with salad. Top

07/01/2025: Goodness, helpfulness and friendliness. At Amelia's house I ate well-cooked local products and found the staff very attentive and helpful (and also very friendly). We had dinner for two and the place is really suggestive. Rustic style, climbing plants, wooden tables and chairs. Furthermore, at Amelia's house there are many different environments to discover: wooden gazebos, stairs, sofas... in short, it has very high potential and I hope that soon I will have the opportunity to make the most of all the spaces. A place completely surrounded by greenery, with good food, with the right atmosphere to go as a couple or with friends 👍

23/02/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato la laurea di mia nipote alla Locandina e, come sempre, è stata una bella esperienza. Un aspetto molto importante per noi è che mia moglie è celiaca, e siamo stati felicissimi di vedere che ha mangiato benissimo e con molta attenzione alla sua dieta. La cucina è l buona, con piatti ricchi di sapori. La cena è stata articolata e variegata: un buffet di aperitivi di benvenuto con tanti fritti simpatici, un antipasto con affettati misti e formaggi, gnocchi di broccoli con cotechino sbriciolato e fonduta di cacio ricotta, e un ottimo maialino come secondo piatto. Ogni piatto era ben preparato e gustoso. Questo ristorante per noi ha un significato speciale, ci ricorda momenti importanti, tra cui la festa a sorpresa dei 40 anni di mia moglie. Anche in quella occasione, come sempre, è stato tutto ottimo.

01/01/2025: Per il mio compleanno cercavamo un locale bello e dove si respirasse aria irpina, gentilezza, familiarità senza eccessi e buona cucina. La locandina ha corrisposto in pieno alle mie aspettative. Bella la sala, elegante e non affollata, personale professionale e cortese, ottima cucina. Lunga vita alla Locandina!

04/04/2025: Undoubtedly a positive experience. I accompanied a school group on a school trip to the Sorrento coast and this location met our expectations both for the friendly welcome and for the rich breakfast and the variety and abundance of the dinner. Highly recommended!

09/03/2025: We are regular customers and were treated terribly. With €12 they guaranteed us an aperitif plus deckchairs. After the aperitif, when consuming food brought from home, they asked us for an additional €10 just to use the deckchairs. Once those had also been paid, they invited us to move from the initial position, to be placed in an uncovered area (and considering the cloudy and windy day, beyond our advanced age, it was a veiled invitation to leave). You have definitely lost customers. I hope you, instead, find a bit of humanity and common sense.
