10/12/2025: Arrogant, know-it-all and totally unprofessional waiters seem like Gomorrah bosses to order I had to ask the municipality for them you are a ghost all this with sky-high and totally unjustified prices a nightmare NOT TO BE REPEATED ABSOLUTELY!!!

02/06/2025: Experience of terrible service at breakfast, We ordered three cappuccinos and three croissants that we didn't even have time to taste, when we were given the bill asking for money immediately, answering that we didn't have cash, we needed to pay by card and so we were forced to get up immediately and go straight to the cashier to pay. While we were paying for the table, our table was already being cleaned and not having even finished with the hope of going back to sit down, we had already found the table clean and cleared. Tell me what service is shocked

01/12/2025: We arrived at 4:00 PM, were seated, and didn't have a long wait even though the place was busy. We ordered two first courses (1 linguine with clams and 1 linguine with seafood), which were good, but the mussels were cold and the clams were very small. For the second course, we ordered a calamari platter for two (we specified "abundant"), and we received a normal amount of calamari, not too small but not too large, and a nice plate of mixed salad. We went to pay, and the lady at the table charged us for two calamari platters (we'd only ordered one, but at most she'll charge me a little more because I specified "abundant," not a whole one) and a plate of salad for the "modest" price of 10 euros, which I hadn't even ordered. I specified the items I ordered and ate, and the lady replied that she had ordered two fried items even though I'd asked for one. Then I checked the receipt and found the salad I hadn't ordered. As is my custom, I paid, thanked her, and never returned, without a fuss.

28/11/2025: Excellent traditional Capana food, healthy, locally sourced products; Cute, clean, and very charming and intimate atmosphere; Simple service, courtesy, and kindness are the foundation of everything. You feel at home, and it's true, returning to the smells and flavors of yesteryear. We'll be back as soon as possible.

01/11/2025: We visited this small family-run restaurant today and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The printed menu clearly stated that the full meal (antipasto, first and second course, wine, and water) cost €28 per person, but when it came time to pay, the owner charged €85 for two. When we asked why, she said it was “tomorrow’s price,” which made no sense. The main protein was just a simple sausage. The dishes (see photos) certainly didn’t match a €45 per person charge. We were also told that the card machine wasn’t working and had to pay in cash, and no bill or receipt was provided, which made the experience feel even less transparent. The food itself was fine, but we left feeling misled. Tip for future visitors: confirm the total price before ordering, check if card payment is accepted, and make sure to ask for a receipt.

16/08/2025: Review by Giuseppe Orlando and Maria Degani. We stayed a week at this hotel-restaurant and had a wonderful time. The welcome was impeccable, and the staff was kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious, tastefully furnished, and meticulously maintained, as well as spotlessly clean. The restaurant deserves special mention: excellent quality dishes and attentive service. A very pleasant experience that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

24/06/2025: My personal experience in this place was terrible. The food is terrible, I ordered a pizza I thought it was something good, instead it was terrible, the pizza instead of having the tomato sauce had whole tomatoes and at most a slice of mozzarella and the pizza was very small. The environment is terrible, it was very dirty and not suitable for an end of year dinner. I clearly expected more from this place 1 star is more than enough. If we talk about the sandwich, even that was not liked, in fact it was average and had little content with only 2 sausages and 20 chips, which were also badly cooked, said by people.

09/11/2025: The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options, and a frothy cappuccino from a real café! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with an almost surreal Christmassy atmosphere that makes everything magical. Our room, in perfect mountain cabin style, was welcoming and meticulously maintained. The staff was incredibly kind and always available, accommodating our every request with a smile. A truly special experience, one we'll definitely repeat!

28/07/2025: Veramente maleducate le ragazze, soprattutto quella bionda. Maleducate e scortesi, ci servivano come se ci stessero pagando loro, e quando un ragazzo ha preso una sedia chiedta ad una signora in un tavolo per sedersi la ragazza bionda gliel’ha tolta da sotto il ragazzo urlando ‘ERA DELLA SIGNORA’ senza fornigliene un’altra. Veramente ignoranti. Il poke non è nemmeno buono! Pomodori acidi.

24/07/2025: Ero già stata altre volte in questo locale, e mi son sempre trovata bene. Buon cibo, ampia varietà, buon servizio. Dal dolce al salato, si resta soddisfatti.

23/11/2025: Excellent food with a set menu at a really reasonable price. The staff was very friendly. We'll be back!

13/10/2025: I arrived at this place lured by the ads on social media, looking for a local restaurant for a quick meal. They kindly informed us that they have a shuttle available from the multi-story parking lot to the restaurant, which is near the restricted traffic zone. We arrived at 1:40 PM, convinced we could get by in an hour, an hour and a half at most, to eat the set menu offered. The four appetizers arrived immediately, delicious and in adequate portions. From 2:10 PM to 2:50 PM, nothing else was put on the table. At 2:50 PM, the first course arrived, also in adequate quantities. Then another 40 minutes passed for the second course, which arrived at 3:30 PM. We managed to leave, after a meager slice of babà at 4:00 PM. 2 hours and 20 minutes with 30-40 minute intervals between courses was really too much. It's a shame because the place is nice and the food is good, but the wait is really too much.

21/09/2025: What a disappointment...all smoke and mirrors. Sunday, September 21st, 3 hours in line...bought 4 pieces (two sfogliatelle and two local pastries)....not only did we pay 10 euros without understanding why...but after 3 hours in line...we didn't make a fuss...but in the end...after having wasted a Sunday morning...in Salerno we ate far better sfogliatelle...not to mention the pink dessert...passed off as a delicacy...simple cream puff filled with cream and strawberries and icing on top...all with lots of butter...all show and no substance...maybe...when it first came into being...it was worth it!!!

19/10/2025: 1 star only because there's no 0 1 PENNETTA WITH FRESH TOMATO SAUCE 2 appetizers 2 seafood first courses SERVED WITH BURNED SEAFOOD JUST THE THOUGHT OF SERVING A DISH LIKE THAT AT THE TABLE IS ABSURD, LET ALONE EATING IT WE TOLD THE WAITER ALL ABOUT THIS AND HE SAID THEY WOULD RE-MAKE THEM. AFTER A 45-MINUTE WAIT, THE DISHES DID NOT ARRIVE. WE DECIDED TO LEAVE. WE ASKED FOR THE BILL AND HERE WAS THE SURPRISE ALLY FOR THE MODEST PRICE OF 102 EUROS OBVIOUSLY PAID WITHOUT ISSUING A RECEIPT CALLING IT A BAD EXPERIENCE IS AN UNDERSTANDING
