18/10/2025: This is the only negative review I've ever written. The pizza was good, but the squid in the fried seafood recommended by the owner was incredibly smelling, I tried a bite, and the foul smell of squid melted in my mouth, it was just so disgusting….. And besides of this the owner also trying to scam us by charge for one extra dish.

29/09/2025: The food is average. If there are no other guests in the restaurant, they'll make a real effort to accommodate you. There are several free antipasti. But be careful! The giant mozzarella we didn't order ended up on our bill.

13/08/2025: We were here for two days. The beach was very crowded, but it was very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Showers cost extra, but that's okay because it was well-maintained and clean. Perfect for families. We'd love to come back.

04/01/2026: Excellent lunch experience. We went with a group for a seafood lunch. The appetizer was generous, as were the first and second courses. The food was excellent and I highly recommend it. The owner was friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

15/01/2026: We arrived in Sorrento from Naples by ferry and, as our hotel was far from the center (where the restaurants are concentrated) and it was already late, we opted to have lunch at this place. Despite the reviews on Google, we decided to give it a chance. In my opinion as a Google Guide user, I don't consider the restaurant excellent or unmissable, but there's no reason for harsh criticism either. The place was quite busy, and yet the waiter was attentive in finding a table for us. We ordered a caprese salad and gnocchi: both were good and reasonably priced. As for the service, even with the place full, the waiting time for the dishes was adequate. The area doesn't offer many restaurant options, and therefore I consider the experience to have been fair. You can eat here comfortably, as long as you don't have high expectations.

13/11/2025: If you're looking for tranquility, good food, excellent meat, and a family atmosphere, you're in the right place. Alfonso and Vincenzo are wonderful people who make you feel right at home. Everything is delicious, but the meat grilled on the grill in front of you has that special something. Try it and you'll definitely be back. Unbeatable value for money. We'll definitely be back!!!

06/07/2025: The worst restaurant I’ve been in my last 5 years . Tra i peggiori ristoranti che abbiamo cenato negli ultimi 5 anni . Abbiamo ordinato una bistecca fiorentina e hanno avuto il coraggio di portarci un osso alto 8 centimetri di una bistecca già consumata da altri e di fianco vari pezzi di carne di vario tipo . E’ stata una cosa terribile . Non l’abbiamo mangiata affatto e alle nostre lamentele ci hanno detto che non capivamo niente di cagne . Il pane era umido e molliccio , per avere olio e sale abbiamo dovuto ricordarglielo 5 volte . Servizio pessimo . Evitate di andare se non volete essere presi per i fondelli . Il conto ?? 110 € per una bistecca non mangiata per poi essere anche accusati di non capire niente di bistecche fiorentine , io che ho vissuto 13 anni a Firenze. Se non volete essere truffati da questi lestofanti , evitate di fermarvi lì . A 100 metri c’è un altro ristorante che merita in termini di qualità , servizio e cortesia . IL RIFUGIO e’ stato un incubo . Vomitevole

28/02/2026: Tell the gentleman at the counter that he can't sing or make ice cream, he's not only a very rude person but also very rude.

28/02/2026: Unbelievably rude. The staff at the bar, whistling and singing to attract people, were more arrogant than ever, simply because we didn't prefer to stay at the table and spend at least 24 euros for two granitas (purely insane prices). Beyond the arrogance, the prices are out of control. Don't go there.

29/12/2025: A truly unique place. The setting is beautiful, a true immersion in Neapolitan style. The fried foods are spectacular, and the pizza is delicious. I also recommend the place for the very friendly and helpful staff.

20/12/2025: There's nothing to comment on, but the only thing I can say is that the all-you-can-eat formula is perfect, given how they're managed. Approved and recommended.

30/09/2025: This supermarket's weak point, unfortunately, is its staff, mostly lazy and rude, especially at the checkout. They have no courtesy or kindness, nor do they know how to greet or thank a customer. If the customer does, they don't even respond. They often chat among themselves from one checkout to the next while they work, which causes enormous annoyance to the customer, who feels they're receiving little attention. Today, all the self-checkouts were out of order, while only one non-self-checkout had a long line of customers. I see a clerk wandering near a checkout, so I politely ask if she's opening. She aggressively tells me I need to give her time to get ready. Resigned, I continue waiting in line and, after five minutes, I catch her having a pleasant conversation with a colleague near the promotions counter. I'm sorry to say, but this supermarket lacks a professional who knows how to manage the staff. Everyone does what they want... as always, only those with a sense of duty know how to manage themselves.

09/01/2026: A New Year's Eve dinner to remember! A charming location just 10 meters from the famous Castellabate square, made famous by the film Welcome to the South. Delicious dishes and delightful entertainment by Aida and DJ Tommy.

15/02/2026: Group of 8 people, they ordered wrong and one person was left without food. Small portions, like for children. I do not recommend.

31/01/2026: We decided to have lunch on Saturday, January 31st, a rather sunny day here with few people. Two adults and a one-year-old child. We ordered a mixed seafood appetizer for €25, with products that weren't fresh and quantities questionable for this price. We also ordered spaghetti with clams, which was good and tasty, and a scarpariello, which was also good despite the fact that the mantis shrimp and cicada were not fresh but frozen. For my son, we ordered a very simple plate of penne with tomato sauce, water, and a glass of wine. Total €93.00, in my opinion, was too much for the quality of the dishes, but I can also understand that perhaps the Amalfi Coast is a factor, even though it's January. In my opinion, paying €9 for penne with tomato sauce for a one-year-old, who, among other things, didn't use the cover charge, and still being charged an additional €2.50, is very embarrassing. I certainly won't be returning.

11/03/2026: An amazing mussel soup, both in quality and quantity. Start with a taste of truly delicious lardiata. The restaurant has been renovated and has ample parking.
