11/10/2025: Ordered takeaway, after a very long wait, salad without dressing with 3 pieces of carrot for way too much money. I do not recommend it at all.

10/10/2025: We had a great family dinner here in the heart of the tourist district on a busy street. Eating outside, yet it was fully covered. Food was all great and we had a very nice server. Bathrooms were across the street in their main building, which was a 30 second walk. VictorB

13/10/2025: A historic restaurant, unfortunately, this place has also bowed to the rules and chaos of tourism. Decent dishes but very expensive, service almost inadequate, chaotic and unorganized. The appetizers, which were passable, arrived within half an hour of each other for two people. In fact, they had completely forgotten to serve mine. I had to ask a waiter, who, mortified, went to see what had happened. As I was saying, the workload is huge, so more organization is needed, a slightly more extensive menu, and a rethink of the price list, which doesn't quite live up to the menu! P.S. I'm not a tourist!

05/10/2025: A very charming little restaurant located right between the center and the port of Pozzuoli. Its simple setting evokes typical Neapolitan moments and phrases from everyday life, and the owner is helpful and polite. A highlight is the gluten-free menu, identical to the regular menu. Worth considering if you're in the area.

For me, 'A marenna 'e Mamma' is one of those places. Indeed, it's the place where Neapolitan tradition comes back to life, even in a gluten-free version. As soon as you walk in the door, you realize that everything here is made with love. Nothing is artificial; there's true passion, the kind you feel in the gestures and in the smells wafting from the kitchen, that aroma that takes you back in time to family Sundays. We start with the appetizers, and right there you know you're in the right place. The savory pizzas, the rustici, the fried pizza, the arancini, the gattò, and so many other delights that taste like home. But the moment when everything stops is when the genovese arrives (this is just one of the options on the menu). Tradition in its purest form. And then the meatballs and the pork chop (another option on the menu), capable of bringing back a distant memory and making you say, "Here it is, this is the flavor I was looking for." Behind every dish are Veronica's expert hands, hands that cook as if they were preparing lunch for their own family. And then there's Peppe, who welcomes you like a long-awaited friend. He pampers you, tells you stories, makes you feel part of a big family. And just when you think you can't ask for more, dessert arrives: the Bounty spoon cake. An explosion of flavor, and it's there that you realize there's always room for happiness. The place is a little gem, every detail speaks of Naples and its history. But the truth is that A marenna 'e Mamma' is more than just a trattoria. It's a journey into the heart of tradition. It's an experience made of memories of lost flavors, of the typical Neapolitan cuisine that represents our identity. I found all of this here. And it's not easy to explain: you have to experience it, sit at the table, and let yourself be moved. See you next time, guys. 22/09/2025: The venue, outdoor space, and beautiful decor are all there is to it. But serving on plastic plates is absolutely not an option. Eating products that can be found everywhere is absolutely not an option. All it takes is a little imagination, a little more effort, and high-end products and it would be perfect. The price is high for what it offers.

07/09/2025: A family evening at "Happy Days" turned into a lesson in how NOT to run a restaurant. We arrived with good intentions and left with our appetites and patience ruined. Here's why: Dismal hygiene: I found a long hair in the buttered corn. Not a small hair, just the kind that makes you lose your appetite. Disgraceful reaction from management: the owner, instead of apologizing and showing a modicum of professionalism, simply offered to "not put it on the bill." Rudeness and indifference all at once. "Wrong" bill (yes, twice, and both times in their favor): they added dishes they didn't serve and made me pay for them without me noticing. This has happened before: keep an eye on the bill, check it line by line. Unkempt restaurant and sloppy service: old decor, zero attention to presentation. Dishes served on paper/plastic that make it feel more like a cheap takeaway than a pub. The music was deafening: too loud, making it impossible to talk peacefully with family. It felt like a nightclub, not a pub where you sit down to dinner. In short: unjustified prices, poor quality, rude management, and suspicious billing practices. If you're looking for a pleasant evening with family, avoid. If you absolutely must go, take pictures of everything, check the receipt, and be prepared to argue over the fairness of the bill. We won't be back—and a warning to others: "Happy Days"? Only for those who like unpleasant surprises.

01/07/2025: the worst pizza of the last 20 years. I live in the area and I know this pizzeria very well, but unfortunately I have to say that it is no longer what it is; rubbery dough, raw, very salty raw ham and overcooked rocket, as for the parmesan flakes that did not arrive. I also asked for fried polenta and that did not arrive either and then I received a Haineken instead of a Peroni with an extra euro and very hot... after an hour expected for delivery. I am from the neighborhood and I suggest you close.

14/10/2025: Ordered 2.5m of pizza, arrived on time and all the flavors were delicious, but the spectacular thing was the message received the next day to survey the service and taste from the owners, this gesture denotes professionalism and seriousness.

04/10/2025: Pizzas ordered on Jast Eat with a delivery date of 7:50 PM arrived at 9:15 PM, but Jast Eat showed them as being delivered on time. I want to stop by because it's Saturday night and the delay could be expected. But the pizzas that arrived had been prepared much earlier, were cold and rubbery. The kids ate a piece and didn't want any more. I honestly won't buy from you again! I'll report this to Jast Eat.
