A wonderful family restaurant. Bonaventura provided incredible service, as I'm gluten intolerant. They provided advice at all times and even cooked wheat-free meals for me. The food was spectacular with unbeatable views. Thank you so much for the experience.

A restaurant with a fabulous view. We ate here a few times, and each time the food was delicious and fresh. A pasta with vongole costs 14 euros, and a margherita pizza 7.50 euros. Prices are competitive with those found in the center of Forio. The restaurant also offers beach loungers for rent for 8 euros a day (price valid in September) on one of the most beautiful beaches in the area.

A nice quick lunch with Zingara pizza dough and an excellent fruit smoothie. On the seafront, spectacular, clean and tidy, friendly staff, more than fair price. I recommend it!

La Terrazza dell'Excelsior

19/03/2026: Alessandro's excellent service inspired us to return to the restaurant a second time, completely in love with the entrecôte. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service impeccable!
07/03/2026: The setting is elegant, overlooking a breathtaking view: Vesuvius on one side and Castel dell'Ovo on the other. The food is excellent, and above all, the welcome is excellent. Alessandro is extremely kind, and immediately makes everyone feel at home. Thank you.

07/04/2026: Last year we had a pretty good time (it still counts as a review today). But this year, with the same group of 20 people, it was a disaster: I'll start with the beach (dirtier than ever). 2) The food was sparse and not of the highest quality! 3) Exorbitant prices. A few side notes: We sat down at 1:00 PM and our food arrived at 3:30 PM. This was also because other guests (perhaps more illustrious than us) who arrived much later were served first! Oh, but in addition to this lack of respect for us (we had also booked), two people in our group went hungry because what they ordered (which was on the menu) was brought to their guests (who arrived after us) and was therefore no longer available. Added to this, there was no information about it or a suggestion for an alternative. Oh, well!! Otherwise, the table was comfortable and so were the chairs!
