28/11/2025: We found "Il Brigante" while researching dinner options during a weekend in Piedimonte Matese. From the atmosphere to the food, everything was perfect. The place is truly welcoming and unique, reminiscent of a medieval tavern, and the food is equally as good. We had a meat dish (skewers and steak with fries and grilled scamorza cheese), which was truly delicious. Vegetarians also have plenty of options, despite the menu featuring many meat dishes: various combinations with scamorza cheese, bruschetta, and side dishes! They also offer pizza, which we'll definitely try next time. In addition to the dinner, the staff are all incredibly nice, and an added bonus is the beautiful view when you arrive at the restaurant! Highly recommended, we'll be back!

17/01/2026: I went for lunch today. A cozy place, with plenty of sunlight. The food was good and fresh. I enjoyed the hot bruschetta. Affordable prices. 2 waters, 1 gnocchi, 1 Sicilian pasta, 1 pennette, 1 portion of bruschetta, 1 portion of fries, 1 portion of octopus. Total 45 euros. Highly recommended. There's a large parking lot with blue lines nearby.

16/02/2026: Terrible service; they sat us down and within 10 minutes, no one paid attention to us, not even asking us anything, and they didn't even have a menu (I had to find the waitress, who later brought me the QR code). Then the order was taken by a waiter who was in a hurry and was completely unprofessional. I asked for advice on which vegetables to put on the pizza (since they don't have any vegan options) and he couldn't suggest anything. In the end, we both (my girlfriend and I) chose a focaccia with broccoli rabe and French fries (they didn't have baked ones), and I had to stop him at the last minute as he ran off, telling him I still had to tell him what we wanted to drink. So I asked for sparkling water (and then received it still). I then specified that I wanted peppers on one of the two pizzas, if they had them, and he brought me a plate of peppers on the side (20 minutes before the pizzas) without even an empty plate for my girlfriend, who would have watched me eat on an empty stomach. The pizzas arrived after a total of 40 minutes (the dining room was almost empty) because they were obviously focusing on takeout pizzas. The pizza was quite good, but it was all fried and covered in too much oil... not to mention the hair and crumbs I found in my seat when I arrived. Then the price was incredibly high...that measly pizza with just two simple ingredients was €7.50 (more than a pizza with cream, ham, provolone, and croquettes that they sell, and those ingredients are definitely more expensive). They decided to put the peppers aside on the plate to justify an additional €4. When paying, they also noted on the menu some bruschetta and croquettes from another table, as well as drinks. I told her they weren't ours and explained that it would be nice to find some good vegan alternatives to the usual foods in the future, and the cashier replied that it was Valentine's Day... (which has nothing to do with what I said). But these days, you know... if someone wants a vegan meal, it's normal to magically raise the prices (despite cheap ingredients), and if they say something constructive, just wait until they finish speaking and say something random.

07/02/2026: I ordered on delivery which was 7.45pm now it's 8.48pm I called them and they told me to wait another hour I didn't even know this pizzeria I wanted to try but honestly disappointed I will never order from here again I hope that at least the pizza arrives hot

20/12/2025: I've become a regular customer, but I only decided to write a review today. I urge readers to ignore the negative reviews; they're frustrated and biased. The pizza is delicious; you can get it in any flavor. It's easy to digest and very reasonably priced; they could increase the price, but the product is definitely worth more. The atmosphere is welcoming; you feel like you're part of a family.

12/10/2025: I came today around 11pm with my partner (being Saturday it closes at 2am) I found myself on a hill full of potholes and I found the place closed, without any notice on social media or outside, nor a light or anything, I followed the instructions of the navigator, I drove 28 minutes for nothing, I tried to call but it said that the number was not available, the messages on WhatsApp only loaded a bar, bitterly disappointed

28/09/2025: Very friendly staff! The atmosphere is good, but we felt they're more focused on cocktails and beer. Still, the glass of wine was good, and €5 per glass is reasonable for the quality and quantity.

09/09/2025: This pizzeria has several advantages, first and foremost its location. It's located in the heart of the merchants district, right in the heart of Salerno, with a dozen seats outside, overlooking the street and giving off a sense of the pizzerias of yesteryear. The pizza can only be made in a pan (I believe), and this detail makes them special. The food is exceptionally good value, the prices are very competitive, and the pizza's quality is unquestionable (note: the pizza wasn't burned on the bottom, which unfortunately isn't a given, and it didn't even leave a bitter aftertaste). I gave it 4 stars and not 5 for two reasons: the arancini from the fritto misto were slightly cold at the center (the rest of the fried foods are delicious and all artisanal, except for the fries), and they lack quality beers; unfortunately, they only have the classic cheap ones. By arriving early, we didn't even have to wait long; we'll definitely be back!

17/02/2026: A very welcoming place with helpful staff. The food is very good. It's perfect for families with small children because it features a large indoor and outdoor play area. These areas are included if you go for lunch or dinner, but they're also available to anyone who wants to entertain their little ones without stopping for lunch.

30/09/2025: DISHONEST. I was at Bagno Elena on Saturday, September 27th, with a group of friends. A friend who was celebrating his birthday had paid for the entrance fee, including sunbeds, for everyone—about 15 of us. Since we arrived separately, he left the names at reception for when everyone else arrived. However, when I arrived, my name hadn't been noted, and I was asked to pay, which I promptly did. When we realized the mix-up a few days later, we were denied a refund. We were the only guests at the beach, given that it was a late-September weekend, so there was no confusion to justify a mistake in writing down the names. But the most dishonest thing was denying a refund to someone like me who had paid twice. Congratulations!
