07/05/2026: I just left the puteca and I'm really angry. My boyfriend and I went there and chose the all-you-can-eat option. The place is small, but luckily there were two tables besides us, but as for the food, it was a real disappointment. The first course was a lousy burger and sausage with spicy mashed potatoes. The second course was a slice of meat with 2 grams of meat. The rest was all bone and very hard fat, inedible, and the salad was unseasoned. The third course came with horrible-looking pieces of chicken breast, along with unseasoned and completely raw baked potatoes. It's 5 meat courses that you can reorder if you want. For the third course (chicken breast), we asked if we couldn't eat. They said we could stop and couldn't order either the dishes we'd already ordered or the ones we'd had because you had to eat the entire course of 5 dishes of their choice at least once. By the way, you can't reorder the slice of meat, which was the most "normal" thing, even though there was more bone than meat... We were undoubtedly disgusted by that food and left, paying €50 and left with an empty stomach at 10 pm. We are two kids and we don't work. We paid with the allowance our parents give us, who work for us every day, and I'm bitter about the waste of this money. In an all-you-can-eat restaurant, you should eat dishes of the customer's choice, not those that suit the seller. It costs €22 on weekdays, and on Fridays and Saturdays it's €25, with a €2 cover charge and a soft water that they pass off as "green and sustainable" that costs €2.50. What can I say? A real disappointment, never again; I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Totally not recommended. Don't listen to the TikTok videos, but the reviews!!!

04/05/2026: We celebrated our mother's birthday yesterday and it was a truly excellent experience. The place is very well-kept, with a style we really appreciated: welcoming and authentic. The owner and all the staff were extremely kind, helpful, and attentive, making us feel immediately at ease. As for the food, every dish lived up to expectations, indeed exceeded them: everything was truly excellent, carefully prepared, and of great quality. We went without knowing the place, a bit "blindsided," but we were completely satisfied. It was a wonderful discovery and we will definitely be back.

15/05/2026: I had a cheesecake, then I sat down at the tables outside, and they kicked me out, saying that table service had to be paid more (the table was empty, and I just sat on the chair without even touching the table). Truly scandalous.

27/05/2026: Today I stopped at this wonderful and excellent bar at the invitation of a friend; I was passing through for work. After leaving, I got back on the road to return to Pescara. My office called to tell me I'd left my credit card (with my PIN) at the bar. I went back and picked it up, and since they have a delicious pastry shop, I ordered some babà. Bottom line: not only did they not accept a gift, they also treated me well for the purchase. I'm speechless, thanking them and complimenting them... special people.

16/02/2026: We celebrated our daughter's first birthday, but to this day we're still disappointed... as soon as we arrived, the dining room was very cold... at 8 pm, they already put cold "friggitoria" and pizzas on the table, a bit like saying "eat and go"... just two bottles of Coke on the table. The food was poor quality, cold and not fresh. It certainly won't get good publicity from families with children, who were also disappointed by the service. I absolutely do not recommend it. Don't be fooled by the photos of the main courses or anything else that are posted. I don't usually leave reviews, especially negative ones, but I do it because there are mostly children involved and so that the service can improve for future customers who choose this place. 01/09/2025: The chicken was truly excellent, well-cooked and very flavorful. A simple restaurant with outdoor seating, also suitable for families. When we arrived, there was a long line (I don't know if they accept reservations or advance orders). The prices are medium-high, but the quality is good. A few flaws regarding the exterior: the exposed wood isn't ideal, and parking can be tricky. The restaurant is located right after a roundabout, and the area gets a lot of traffic. Overall, recommended for the food, but less so for the logistics and hospitality.

25/10/2025: Very nice place, good food, but the staff is lacking in speed, very long waits, and a very disorganized cashier... Prices are a bit higher than average.

06/05/2026: Like everything in Positano, La Pergola is a highly touristy place. The prices are high, and the service feels quite superficial. That being said, the food and drinks are actually of good quality. However, the overall visit is far from an authentic Italian experience. It is a decent spot if you don't mind the typical tourist atmosphere and pricing, but don't expect genuine local charm.

05/05/2026: The 4€ coperto or 'couvert' charge is an immediate sign to stay away. Easily the worst pizza I've had in Italy during two decades of travel. The best part is, they require a minimum of one plate per person so if you're two, you have the 'pleasure' of double the quantity of horrible food that you'd otherwise not want. Everything from the food to the drinks is about 250% over what the cost should be and again, it's a simply miserable offer that left my stomach upset for some time after. The location is also unpleasant. Perhaps the beach view is nice when there's no sun and thus, no people, but watching people flounce about on the dirty-looking volcanic sand isn't nice while eating. That and all the tables near the beach have sand on them due to the wind. I would have never gone based upon all its visual aspects upon arrival but it was recommended by someone. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere in Positano.

13/04/2026: The food isn't top-rated because the burger was raw. The service is top-rated, even though it's lacking. They don't serve tables, but they're very nice and friendly. The atmosphere is good, but not top-rated, due to the lack of hygiene in the bathrooms.
