05/04/2026: Croquette with cheddar and bacon is delicious. The sandwich you create (you can choose from the menu or create your own) is delicious with Chianina beef. The girls are super kind and attentive. You will need gloves that are super useful so you don't get dirty because you will get dirty given that the sandwiches are packed with ingredients! Definitely worth returning.

24/07/2025: Chi scrive è un ristoratore e direttore di noti ristoranti del Nord Italia e Sommelier Mi sono recato in questo locale invitato da amici che da qualche tempo mi dicevano di provare questo ristorante molto frequentato, con il senno di poi penso che questi amici non si sono mai allontanati da Giugliano e dintorni. Mi presentano il menù food e devo dire molto ricco e proposte giuste , anche se guardandomi intorno si vedevono solo zuppe di cozze di tutti i tipi. Chiedo la carta dei vini e mi portano una copertina con all’interno tre fogli spillati per un totale di 15/20 vini . Chiedo un fiano colli di lapio e mi dicono che non cè , chiedo un fiano antonio Caggiamo e mi viene detto che era finito , chiedo un greco Benito Ferrara , indovinate la risposta … finito . Ad un certo punto dico ma mi dici cos’hai e mi propone un fiano mai sentito decantandolo… all’assaggio penso un vino più schifoso di quello non l’ho mai bevuto, subito io ed i altri amici che lo asssggiano avvertiamo un bruciore dello stomaco . Chiamo il capo cameriere e mi dice che il vino è buono e non presenta vizi , senza assaggiarlo, mi dispiace che esistono ancora camerieri che non sanno come comportarsi con i clienti , nei miei locali il cliente viene sempre accontentato , se mi porti un vino dal valore commerciale al max di 2€ non puoi dire che non presenta difetti di tappo od altro ma il difetto è proprio il vino che non può essere essere proposto , sono tornato a casa per prendere del malox . Avete un bel locale , si mangia mediamente bene ma fidatevi o prendete un sommelier altrimenti vendete la birra e coca cola.
06/07/2025: Ci sono stata di sabato, incontro di famiglia. Abbiamo preso la loro famosa zuppa di cozze e la sorpresa è stata piacevole davvero, per il sapore, la qualità e l’abbondanza degli ingredienti. Il responsabile di sala, Graziano, è competente e gentile e ci ha garantito sulla sicurezza di una delle zuppe - la mia - che non doveva essere contaminata dal polpo, per una severa allergia e, difatti, sono qui a scrivere… Ottimi anche il baccalà in tempura, la tartare di ricciola e i dolci che abbiamo preso. Locale pienissimo, con subitaneo avvicendamento di clienti ma, nonostante ciò, il personale è stato efficiente e cortese. Chi ha pagato ha trovato ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da ritornarci, sicuramente!

05/04/2026: The place is nice, but I reluctantly have to give it 2 stars for several reasons. 1) The food is poor quality, not to mention the wait times. I went in at 11 and left at 7. 2) The music is too loud. It's fun at first, maybe a half hour at most, but after 5 hours, the music is still very loud. 3) It's excessively hot. It's "normal" for it to be hot in April, but since the restaurant is indoors and always very crowded, air conditioning or something to cool down is needed. P.S. The only good thing is the entertainment for kids, the bouncy castles, etc. And then the staff. I can't say anything about that. The waiters are very friendly and helpful, but it's still not enough given the slow service. In a word: It's rubbish.
06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The restaurant was clearly overcrowded; it felt like they'd let in far more customers than they should have. This negatively impacted the overall service. The wait was incredibly long, both to be served and between courses. The food, in addition to arriving late, was of poor quality and not up to par for a supposedly special evening like New Year's Eve. The catering seemed improvised, almost "made yesterday," with little organization or customer service. The entertainment was also terrible: there was practically nothing planned for the children, except sitting and drawing. There was no room to move, play, or do any kind of activity. Their response: we weren't ready to welcome 200 people, my dear, YOU ARE worthy of a lawsuit! The only good thing was the piano bar and "some" waiters who, alas, poor things, didn't even know what to say!!! An experience I unfortunately wouldn't recommend. When we got home, we had the classic "milk soup" with artisanal panettone, and that's exactly what you'd expect. NEVER AGAIN!!!

01/02/2026: It all started badly. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the news that there had been a reservation issue because we weren't registered, but only after a while—which I'll leave you to imagine—we managed to get our table. Seeing the tables next door already eating their meat, we assumed we'd be fine... But what! We ordered just a few appetizers and then enjoyed the grilled meat. We chose—there were 8 of us—four BLACK ANGUS steaks and four IRISH ENTRECOTE steaks, cooked rare, served on plates with a hot lava stone in the center for those who wanted to continue cooking. Of course, everything was accompanied by grilled vegetables and potatoes. The appetizer and drinks arrived in a decent amount of time, and after finishing our meal, still hungry, we ordered more portions of fries. They arrived a bit later, but they did. All this helps me describe the wait time for the meat to come out, like 45 minutes, and still nothing. We finish the second course of appetizers and start wondering how the meat is doing. The waiter routinely tells us he'll ask the kitchen, then tells us it was on the grill, so it would be out in 5-10 minutes. None of this, maybe 20 minutes and we ask again and another waiter, following the same procedure, tells us it's on the grill. YET ANOTHER HOAX! And among other things, he replies, "WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME?" We're even more disconcerted and reply, "IF NOT YOU, WHO SHOULD I ASK?" We had to raise our expectations a bit and, noticing the embarrassment of the wait staff, we wait just 1 hour and 45 minutes in total, and finally the meat arrives. HERE'S OUR MONEY WASTED. It didn't arrive as agreed. The dish was on the cutting board, not on the plate. The meat was like charred shoe soles. I immediately pointed this out, but no one said to take it back and remake it. That alone is already disrespectful. Then, again at our request, the grilled vegetables, fries, and focaccia were supposed to arrive. But they arrived very staggered, halfway through. The vegetables were in a single dish with not even half a grilled zucchini, and the focaccia was first one, then another at the end. Once everything was finished, we asked for the bill, which, without a doubt, arrived perfectly and very quickly. When handing over the bill, the waiter routinely asked, "How did it go?" At that point, I detailed everything I'd mentioned and also spoke to the owner's daughter, who, completely mortified by what had happened, agreed with us, and made us pay the bill for the expected amount without offering us any incentive either for the current one or for the hypothetical next appointment. In conclusion, a bad night for the place? But you did nothing to make up for the damage.

31/01/2026: Too expensive for what it offers. A plate of candles with Genovese sauce for €18 is way too much. It's supposed to be a trattoria, but its prices are those of a luxury restaurant. There's little attention paid to celiacs. Even if they apologize, they can't be excused. It takes a little goodwill and professionalism to please customers, even those with food intolerances, which aren't dictated by lifestyle choices, but by health issues! It doesn't take much to please a celiac without apologizing for not even having dessert or an appetizer. Finally, raising prices and not improving the service or the food... it certainly doesn't entice customers. It's a shame because they could do so much better. I don't think I'll return... it's not worth it!
22/12/2025: Never again. Supermarket cheeses considered elite, and even poorly served. Two micro burgers with two sides of very gourmet baked potatoes. The eggplant mushrooms and chicory in a micro bowl are also gourmet. A bottle of wine for three people is of poor quality. Three micro cannoli for dessert, and they say they offered it for €35 per person. I will never go again. For €35, I can eat much better, both in quantity and quality, elsewhere, even in much better locations.

19/10/2025: Renovated, very nice place. Desserts a bit disappointing: 2 trays of Castagnole bought directly from the pastry shop, a bit old, at least 2 days old. €20 per kg. The chestnut tart was tasteless. €1.50 per piece.

01/12/2025: There are four of us and we sit at a table set, as is often the case, with simple plastic placemats; we receive a single menu consisting of 3 or 4 crumpled and simply stapled A3 sheets. We can't figure out where the list of dishes is, then we realize they're on the first page, in 7-8 lines, all together, without spaces, with no distinction between appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes... I've never seen a more hastily put together and disorganized menu than this one. This leaves us very perplexed and, unfortunately, doesn't bode well; as they say: a good start to the day begins... and so it was throughout lunch! We are brought the usual filtered water, in an unlikely bottle. We order first courses: cicatelli with broccoli and mezze maniche with mixed fish, cuttlefish, and shrimp. The cicatelli are in broth, while the mezze maniche have been spotted with a telescope. When we complain, we are told that it was a "seafood ragù." The best, however, came with the main courses: a boneless shank, paradoxically reduced to a small piece of boiled, tasteless meat, and a boiled, tasteless, and smelly veal shoulder, accompanied by a salty sauce and two small, bland, flavorless side dishes. It's best to draw a veil over the desserts... Change your profession, this isn't for you!
30/11/2025: I first encountered Boda de Ciondro about 10 years ago, when I had the opportunity to appreciate their catering for two weddings. I was looking for a venue for my 40th birthday; I wanted a welcoming, refined yet bucolic atmosphere, and above all, one that offered unconventional cuisine, different from traditional restaurants or farmhouses. A few months ago, I happened to read an article about the restaurant, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, and it was a revelation. I contacted them, and after exchanging a few emails, we organized a Sunday lunch for 14 people. I trusted them and trusted them; ten years is a long time, and my memory of it could have been different from the current reality... Instead, it did not disappoint. I couldn't have made a better choice. Everything was perfect. Even though I didn't opt ​​for the "event" option, I still showed all the consideration due to those celebrating a special day. My guests appreciated and enjoyed all the dishes offered, which, as I hoped, reflected the soul of the restaurant: refined but without forgetting tradition.

06/04/2026: Disappointing experience, due to the very slow service, the poor dishes and the very high price, we had lunch there on Easter Monday 06/04/2026, a miserable appetizer, 2 spoons of pasta and a piece of tough pork with a side of vegetables in sauce and finally either colomba or pastiera at a cost of €50, drinks and cover charge not included and also their specialty ice cream fior di latte with oils not included 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

01/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Gamberone Restaurant, and the experience was simply fantastic. The atmosphere is welcoming, with attention to detail, and perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The staff is friendly, professional, and always available to recommend the perfect dish. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, considering the high quality of the cuisine and service. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.
14/02/2026: We came here for Valentine's Day lunch, and what can I say...everything was excellent! We spent €50 total for two, and the lunch was truly sumptuous: a huge appetizer, a choice of first courses (something not everyone does), and the same for the second course. But the icing on the cake was the warm heart cake; I've never had one so good. I highly recommend this place.

15/11/2025: One word: flawless!!!! We celebrated our son's first birthday...we made a great impression, congratulations from everyone!! Salvatore was available from the start, with everything...the menu, the decor, the guests...that day he delighted us with his cooking, everything was truly delicious, so good that we don't have photos of the dishes...but for the first time ever...we celebrated an event without wanting to change a thing about how it went! A perfect day!! That's what happens when you deal with people who love their work!!!!
