31/07/2026: Small but very cute place. The food is plentiful, especially their appetizers. The only flaw is the lack of directions to find the place. They also offer parking, but without any signs. Luckily, if you call the place, they'll provide directions to the place and parking.

20/02/2026: There's an English menu for foreigners, but it's 2 euros more expensive than the regular menu for locals. That's why I'm giving it 2 stars. I ordered the Diabla pizza, and it was delicious with spicy salami and chewy dough. I even had the frita the next day, and the cheese was still delicious.

14/02/2026: One of the worst home delivery services I've ever had. We waited over two hours for our pizzas, and every time we called, we were told the delivery driver was on his way. After two hours, we decided to go get the pizzas ourselves, only to find out that they hadn't even been made yet. Liars, and I don't even know how they looked at us after this terrible embarrassment.

20/05/2026: We've been customers of this bar for years; my mother and I have always enjoyed coming here, but unfortunately, this morning we experienced a very unpleasant incident that will mean we won't be returning. When we walked in, my mother simply asked if there were any croissants left and what flavors were available. The response she received from what I believe was an employee or the owner was extremely rude: he turned to her and said "WAIT A MINUTE" in an annoyed tone, continuing to slam objects on the table in a clearly nervous manner. I find it unacceptable, especially in a public place, to address a customer with such rudeness, without even the confidence to use the familiar "tu" form. Respect for customers should be the minimum foundation of any business. I understand that workers might be busy, nervous, or perhaps having a bad day, just as they might be cleaning or tidying up the place at the time, but this is in no way a VALID reason. When I later returned to the bar to clarify the circumstances of the incident, the owner again approached me with unprofessionalism, saying, "Sorry, but you said it, it seems strange to me." He repeated the phrase "you said it" 800 times, as if I had something to gain from this matter. He also continued to address me informally despite the discomfort he had already expressed. This attitude demonstrates a lack of humility. After years of being regular customers, we are deeply sorry to have to acknowledge this behavior, but out of personal respect, we will not be returning.

07/08/2026: We received a very professional welcome. The food was excellent. The pasta and pizzas were delicious. The setting was charming and intimate. We noticed there were many locals, which for us is a sign of quality. A lovely establishment that we highly recommend. A big thank you to Umberto, the star of the dining room… always smiling and full of helpful advice! The experience speaks for itself!

02/08/2026: Only reason I’m giving them 4 out of 5 for food is because some menu items were unavailable. Our last meal in Lago after spending 3 years here. House red, fabulous, steak with green peppercorns, amazing, best I’ve had in a while. We generally eat outside of Italian hours, so we had the restaurant to ourselves.

28/07/2026: I spent a wonderful evening with my wife at the Falò Pizzeria and Restaurant. The pizzas were delicious. I had a pizza with prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, arugula, and shaved parmesan, and it was delicious. The place is beautiful, with a large outdoor area and a kid-friendly atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

28/06/2026: My boyfriend and I have been coming to Kalù for three years now, and every now and then, another couple of friends join us. In all this time, it has never disappointed us, not even once. It's become our go-to for every night we don't know where else to go, because we already know we'll be sure to go here. The ingredients are always top-quality, the food is truly delicious, and every dish is prepared with care. In fact, every time, it's so good, you're truly sorry you haven't eaten the last bite! Another strong point is undoubtedly the staff: everyone is incredibly kind, friendly, and always available, making you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. The service is also surprisingly fast. It's rare to have to wait for a table, but when you do, it's absolutely worth it. Kalù is a true guarantee, one of those places you always want to return to because you know you'll have a great evening and eat deliciously. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

18/08/2026: I've been a customer for years, but it's become unlivable. Interacting with the public requires politeness and courtesy, and you definitely won't find it at this beach club. My family and I moved to the highly recommended Lido America next door, where the owners and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, there have been several unpleasant incidents, and from what I see in the reviews, we're not the only ones to have noticed. I hope you can reflect on your behavior over the past few months, despite your sarcastic responses to every review. Fortunately, the parking lots are open, and you've finished acting like, as I've read in some other reviews, the kings of miliscola (Kings of what, then...).

19/08/2026: Ferragosto. The atmosphere was unsuitable due to the unbearable heat, the wait times were inconsistent, the music blaring, and the only thing that was adequate was the food.

29/10/2025: Service: The staff were standoffish and pushy, hovering to take our order before we had even looked at the menu. They continued to push the tasting menu despite our clear preference to share à la carte. Several staff members stood around watching guests’ every move, creating an uncomfortable environment. Despite so many staff waiting idly, service dropped off considerably once we ordered. Ambience: The space felt cold and uninviting – bright overhead lights, teal floors, and a few awkwardly spaced tables in the center made it resemble a cafeteria more than a restaurant. The room had an echo that only heightened the lack of warmth or atmosphere. With harsh lighting reflecting off the glass windows, there was no view to enjoy – only glare. View (or lack thereof): When we asked to sit outside on a clear, mild evening (around 65°F / 18°C), we were told the terrace was closed for the winter (early October). Given that other nearby restaurants had outdoor seating open with blankets or heaters, this seemed more like a choice of convenience than necessity. Food: The food was fine but unremarkable. The menu sounded more creative than what was actually served, and none of the dishes stood out. Prices were reasonable for Positano, but the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend dining here, even for those staying at the hotel.

04/10/2025: The food, service, and view are excellent. There are several tasting menus to choose from as well as à la carte and the wine list is well conceived and well priced. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit strange, as it is a hotel and the restaurant is down one floor from the lobby. Unfortunately, there was no one to greet us when we arrived, but we found our way. The one issue we had was the room itself. While the view is incomparable, the decor is dated and a bit sterile. Feels more like a wedding hall than a Michelin star restaurant. Once the tables filled in, it was a bit warmer, but the room could really stand a makeover. Food has a decidedly French flair and everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly served, and beautifully explained. Overall very enjoyable.

28/07/2026: A bakery, run for generations with excellent products, has fallen into the hands of the current terrible management! Dirty, rude, old, poorly made products on display, and a clear lack of enthusiasm. I will also report the failure to issue a receipt for every purchase. P.S. I advise the previous owners to remove the sign with their name because they are shamefully defiling it.

09/07/2026: As a longtime customer and local, something has certainly changed in the quality of the products offered, likely a change in management. A focaccia I bought last night was unfortunately rock-hard, and a very thin Parisian pizza, also good but a bit salty. I remember the days when we'd stop after school for the calzone, which was killer... time flies.
