27/01/2026: Disappointing! By far the worst food we ate in Naples and Ischia. The waiter was very inattentive. After about 10 minutes, we asked if we could order... (This is not what you expect in Italy.) General friendliness was definitely not his strong suit. The food was unfortunately drenched in oil, both the appetizer and especially the pasta. (See picture.) The zucchini blossom and eggplant appetizer were oily but still tasty. I was very surprised when the DOP pizza only had buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes, but no tomato sauce?! (Perhaps I misread it?? That's unusual.) For the price, it unfortunately wasn't what we had hoped for.

29/10/2025: Service: The staff were standoffish and pushy, hovering to take our order before we had even looked at the menu. They continued to push the tasting menu despite our clear preference to share à la carte. Several staff members stood around watching guests’ every move, creating an uncomfortable environment. Despite so many staff waiting idly, service dropped off considerably once we ordered. Ambience: The space felt cold and uninviting – bright overhead lights, teal floors, and a few awkwardly spaced tables in the center made it resemble a cafeteria more than a restaurant. The room had an echo that only heightened the lack of warmth or atmosphere. With harsh lighting reflecting off the glass windows, there was no view to enjoy – only glare. View (or lack thereof): When we asked to sit outside on a clear, mild evening (around 65°F / 18°C), we were told the terrace was closed for the winter (early October). Given that other nearby restaurants had outdoor seating open with blankets or heaters, this seemed more like a choice of convenience than necessity. Food: The food was fine but unremarkable. The menu sounded more creative than what was actually served, and none of the dishes stood out. Prices were reasonable for Positano, but the overall experience was disappointing. I would not recommend dining here, even for those staying at the hotel.

04/10/2025: The food, service, and view are excellent. There are several tasting menus to choose from as well as à la carte and the wine list is well conceived and well priced. The entrance to the restaurant is a bit strange, as it is a hotel and the restaurant is down one floor from the lobby. Unfortunately, there was no one to greet us when we arrived, but we found our way. The one issue we had was the room itself. While the view is incomparable, the decor is dated and a bit sterile. Feels more like a wedding hall than a Michelin star restaurant. Once the tables filled in, it was a bit warmer, but the room could really stand a makeover. Food has a decidedly French flair and everything was perfectly cooked, perfectly served, and beautifully explained. Overall very enjoyable.

06/07/2026: I was there last night for a homemade ice cream, everything was different from an ice cream, it's definitely changed management, it used to smell good, now I found it old, dirty, dirty tables, broken chairs, only one waiter who did everything himself, terrible experience, I won't go there again

25/07/2026: Horrible experience, I strongly recommend avoiding it. The staff were rude and unprepared, the bill was exorbitant, and the food was the same as anywhere else on the island. A classic tourist trap, destined to be branded as a way to mock those who pass by. To top it off, after dinner, we were given an inflated bill for dishes and bottles we hadn't ordered, in the hope that we'd pay without checking. Good luck to anyone who ends up there!

13/06/2026: I was at the pizzeria this evening. Excellent service, but the pizzas had burnt edges. But the worst part was that we ordered a 4-gormaggi pizza without gorgonzola, but it arrived with it. We asked for it to be removed, and after returning it, it was inedible because I don't like it. I asked for the bill, and when I went to the cashier, the waiter gave me a takeaway pizza, which was the one without gorgonzola, but we hadn't asked for it. When I went to the cashier, the total bill, including the uneaten pizza, was €42.50, discounted to €40.00. The person at the cashier apologized for the mix-up and told us it would be better tomorrow. Not seeing the receipt, I paid, and while I was driving to my car, I saw the receipt with the uneaten pizza listed due to an error confirmed by the waiter. I went back to the cashier and returned the pizza, saying if I had to eat the pizza I paid for, I would eat it at the table, not the next day. And the extremely kind person at the cashier asked me why you didn't want to pay for it, and I told him if I wanted to eat it, I'd eat it at the table. Conclusions: never come back.

08/06/2026: Wow, the pizza was really good and the service impeccable, and what can I say about the dessert? Just 10/10!

21/04/2026: Terrible soccer field service. Pots everywhere, a ruined pitch, non-existent goal nets, only one mediocre ball, cold showers. All this, even for €7.

04/05/2026: We visited this restaurant last night and, unfortunately, I can only give it a completely negative review. The service was terrible from the start, with inattentive staff. However, the worst aspect was the quality of the food: the appetizers they call "house" were almost inedible and even seemed to have been prepared a long time ago. There were no potatoes of any kind, and then, as if by magic, they brought us a meager portion that looked like it was left over from some other table. Those who ordered the cutlet were served a small piece of chicken breast that had been fried badly or with old oil. The final confirmation of the poor quality came a few hours after dinner: everyone at the table complained of severe stomach aches and gastrointestinal problems during the night. It's unacceptable for a night out to end with such health problems. I strongly advise against this restaurant to anyone looking for a safe meal and professional service.

22/02/2026: The woman at the ticket counter tried to sell me bus tickets to Sorrento for double the price. Four tickets at €2.80 each don't even come to €20. I imagine they sell several thousand tickets a season, so I'm ruling out a mistake (like, "Sorry, I made a typo..."). If something like that happens even just one in three times, they're bound to make a profit!

03/11/2025: Local bar with locals. Atmosphere, that's what this place doesn't lack.. only functional toilets yes :-/
