10/06/2026: We're now at home and it's always a pleasure to go for an event, a Sunday lunch, or simply for a pizza.

29/05/2026: Overall this place is an easy crowd pleaser. You can order anything on their menu and you can rest assured knowing that it's going to be delicious. They sat our party of 6 inside. The outside seating seems to be more used at night, when the sun isn't so aggressive. They were very helpful, and even speak a decent amount of English for those of us who can't speak Italian. The chianti braised beef, a new item on their menu, was everyone's favorite, so I must recommend it. It was so good I had to order the lamb next, which was also cooked perfectly. It's Italy, so of course the pasta and pizza were delicious as well. This is a must go location.

22/02/2026: The woman at the ticket counter tried to sell me bus tickets to Sorrento for double the price. Four tickets at €2.80 each don't even come to €20. I imagine they sell several thousand tickets a season, so I'm ruling out a mistake (like, "Sorry, I made a typo..."). If something like that happens even just one in three times, they're bound to make a profit!

03/11/2025: Local bar with locals. Atmosphere, that's what this place doesn't lack.. only functional toilets yes :-/

11/05/2026: Camillo Torre Ferano is a very rustic and characteristic osteria, surrounded by greenery and located in an elevated position that also offers a beautiful panoramic view. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a quiet day or evening away from the hustle and bustle. The parking lot requires some attention when maneuvering, especially during peak periods, but it's still quite spacious and manageable. The menu is very good, with tasty and well-prepared dishes. The service is fast and friendly, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. We made a reservation, which is definitely recommended. The coffee machine available to customers is also a very nice idea, allowing them to make their own coffee and adding an even more convivial touch to the place. Definitely a place to return to try the rest of the menu.

21/10/2025: Nice spot, close to the road, parking seemed to be possible and the pizza had a nice crispy base, loaded with ingredients. They had tap beer which waa a surprise and the staff friendly and attentive to the guests.

18/10/2025: Some items are good, others average. Some staff are lovely others not so much. Due to the massive swings, I feel from my experience this place sits at a 3 for now

30/03/2026: Traditional cuisine. An intrinsically traditional restaurant: from the menu to the location; it exudes the air of home cooking and Sunday lunch. The owner and staff are all very kind and attentive to customer requests, even when the restaurant is crowded. Communication was always excellent, and the timing of the dishes was generally acceptable. The menu offers typical local dishes, such as the famous chickpea skeins (among the best I've ever eaten) and some delicious appetizers that are absolutely worth trying (especially the mushroom and mozzarella timbale). The meat is also good, but the cod is much less so (the latter needs a rethink). The desserts and local wine are excellent. The price is in line with the area and the quality of the products. Recommended!

21/04/2026: Terrible soccer field service. Pots everywhere, a ruined pitch, non-existent goal nets, only one mediocre ball, cold showers. All this, even for €7.

25/05/2026: Big disappointment: where did the cod go? We visited this place a few days ago, drawn by the name, hoping to enjoy some excellent fish, but the experience was decidedly disappointing considering the bill. We ordered a €15 appetizer that was supposed to feature cod, but in reality it included tomato bruschetta, a potato tart, and a slice of lemon with barely a centimeter of cod on top (there was basically only the smell). Next, a pasta and potatoes dish with cod (another €15), in which the cod wasn't even noticeable in the aroma. In short, we ate potatoes and tomato. The quality/price ratio and, above all, the quantity of the main ingredient were absolutely insufficient for a place with this name. We wouldn't recommend it.

23/05/2026: Excellent location, quiet place, the waiting staff (Mrs. Angela and Mr. Francesco) with their friendliness make you feel at ease, and with professionalism they recommend and explain each dish that arrives at the table, thanks also to the chef who with his professionalism in preparing the dishes manages to bring out the flavors in their multifaceted way in an excellent way. As a local guide, I recommend it. Choose the all-inclusive formula where you can taste everything, and it is recommended to book, and tell Luciano that he sent you to the airport.

14/06/2026: Absolutely to be avoided. Yesterday I had the misfortune of stopping at this location, welcomed wonderfully like any host. We sat down at a table for 7/8, greeted by Mohammed, who was very kind. He ordered drinks. He suggested that if we also added food it would only cost €3, emphasizing that "only" wasn't on the agenda, but we ordered. We were soothed and treated well by the staff, until alas, this pompous owner showed up, trying in every way to be nice, but he just couldn't do it. Anyway, from that moment on, the feeling of being soothed turned into psychological pressure: you order or you simply get up. Let me start by saying that we didn't sit for 3 hours with a bottle of water, but we consumed food and drinks. For this mysterious owner, it wasn't enough, we should have ordered more and more quickly. We were told he didn't consider us "customers" because his customers consume at a frenetic pace. We felt humiliated, insulted, and undeniably rude and arrogant. I urge everyone not to go to this place, not because of the food and drinks you find everywhere in Vomero, but simply because of the owner, who should understand that this isn't how you treat customers. This place is definitely one to avoid.

14/06/2026: A pleasant and inviting place for an aperitif and a social gathering with friends. I recommend that the manager include the "service times" on the menu in addition to the prices, so as to avoid being rudely kicked out simply because the price-to-time ratio isn't favorable.

27/05/2026: Today I stopped at this wonderful and excellent bar at the invitation of a friend; I was passing through for work. After leaving, I got back on the road to return to Pescara. My office called to tell me I'd left my credit card (with my PIN) at the bar. I went back and picked it up, and since they have a delicious pastry shop, I ordered some babà. Bottom line: not only did they not accept a gift, they also treated me well for the purchase. I'm speechless, thanking them and complimenting them... special people.

01/05/2026: Simply a fantastic experience! La Taverna di Giulio is one of those places that wins you over from the first moment: a warm, welcoming, and authentic atmosphere. The staff was impeccable, always smiling, attentive, and helpful. We felt truly pampered throughout the meal. The food was exceptional: dishes rich in flavor, prepared with the freshest ingredients and great care. Every course was delicious, but special praise goes to all the appetizer courses—they're a must-try! The value for money is also excellent, more than fair for what's on offer. Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back very soon 👌

15/03/2026: €15 per person for homemade and unique appetizers, plus a first course, is an unexpected surprise. The dining room is unique and well-maintained.
