17/03/2026: The coffee is delicious. The location is excellent and parking is easy; it's located in a parking lot where there's also a gas station and a Fiat car dealership.

29/06/2025: Unfortunately, after the latest remodel, it's lost its charm. Casa Albero wasn't just about food, but a comfortable environment with a board displaying the commandments of wine, which always inspired a smile and reflection, because, after all, it wasn't just about wine. I understand that it's a booming time for customers, but you can't eliminate an open kitchen and strip the walls of the same furnishings that, along with the good food, provided a few hours of pure pleasure. Why? Yes, the food is still excellent, but the dining room is now bland and bare, and when it's crowded, the service inevitably drops because you end up with two waiters of questionable competence (no offense to the owner, but I've been repeatedly bumped into by hands and plates, and he ends up paying for their lack of competence). Recommended, but, again, only for the good food.

09/03/2026: It could do much better if only it were more organized, but unfortunately the foundation is lacking. The service is disappointing: the waiters are inattentive and don't pay attention to detail. The food isn't bad, quite good, but the prices are a bit high for the quality offered. The dessert, the disassembled millefeuille, was disappointing: cream with blended strawberries and a bit of packaged puff pastry. I definitely recommend better organization throughout and greater attention to detail.

20/02/2026: An unforgettable Valentine's Day at Macello! 🥩❤️ We decided to spend Valentine's Day here, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment you enter, you can sense a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for a special dinner for two. 🌹✨ The real star, however, was the food. For our main course, we shared a meat dish: a superior-quality tagliata, tender as butter and cooked exactly as requested. 🥩🔥 To top it all off, we paired it with three sides: super-crispy baked potatoes and other expertly prepared vegetables. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are truly top-notch. 🍟😋 The whole experience was complemented by two excellent glasses of Moio, a wine that is an absolute guarantee with red meat, structured and enveloping. 🍷🍷 To end on a high note, we treated ourselves to a warm-hearted chocolate cake, decorated with sprinkles and powdered sugar: the perfect sweet ending to such a romantic evening. 🍫🍮 Praise also goes to the staff: kind, knowledgeable, and never intrusive, despite the restaurant being packed for the occasion. If you're looking for a place where meat is treated with respect and passion, "Il Macello" is a must-visit. 🔝👏 We'll definitely be back to try other specialties on the menu! 02/05/2026: AVOID: A terrible experience. It was enough to look at the recent reviews, except for the fact that the restaurant was practically empty (which is why we sat here). The waiter who took our order and served us was rude, something I haven't experienced anywhere else on the Amalfi Coast. Poor quality food... my anchovy sauce had no flavor whatsoever, and finally, the price was extremely high compared to other restaurants in the area... NB: ask for the menu, otherwise they set the prices "as they please."

For three years, they have also been producing buffalo mozzarella. A welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. Recommended

05/03/2026: Wonderful place! Above all, it's so peaceful and natural, perfect for spending time with family. The beauty of the place feels like being in a castle. The food is excellent, especially because most of the food is homemade.

17/05/2026: I went to this place with my friends on a Saturday night, with a reservation. As soon as we walked in, they brought us juice, probably with some chips that were already on the table. The start seemed okay. The nine of us took the €10 deal, which included a drink and dishes from the menu. We ordered zingare and vegetarian piadinas: the latter were a disgrace; just look at the attached photos to see that they weren't even a quarter, a quarter, a quarter of a normal piadina. I understand that with the €10 deal you can't get something amazing... but this is a disgrace. Zingare was okay, but we had to eat at different times because some arrived within normal waiting times, while for the others we waited over half an hour after ours were already at the table: the waiter's excuse was that there was only one plate. I understand that it's Saturday night, but... There were no tissues on the table until you ordered something to eat (though I remember they had chips on the table at the beginning as a welcome gift), and they were handed out just like that, by the waiter, who obviously had other things in his hand that he needed to serve in the meantime: I recommend being better prepared. We were told that, given the time of our reservation, we had to leave at 10:30 PM because it was Saturday night: okay, but if you bring me the food 20 minutes before we have to leave, you understand that it's a bit difficult. Sweets and a bottle arrived, while we still had the bowls of welcome chips on the table and all the plates and glasses were empty, and we ate them like that. Again, I understand it's Saturday night, but there are some small "careful measures" that can be taken to avoid disappointment. Nice place, maybe I'll go back, but definitely without ordering anything to eat.

10/05/2026: Truly awful experience. We arrived at the venue for a birthday party, and the first thing they did as soon as we walked in was ask the birthday girl to pay in advance. Okay, that's weird enough, but the best part comes later... we had booked for 15, but in the end there were 14 of us, and they still charged us for 15 people. Honestly, it was unheard of. As soon as we finished paying, the question came: "When are you leaving?" I mean, excuse me? We just arrived and you already want to know when we'll have the table free? Tiny tables, and all the food arrived at the same time, so we literally didn't know where to put plates, drinks, and other items. Zero organization. After dinner, we asked for the cake, took two photos, cut the cake, and immediately afterward they brought it back to us already wrapped in the box, basically a very elegant "OK, out now." The icing on the cake... we had paid for 15 even though there were 14 of us, and in the meantime, one guy hadn't even ordered, so we were missing two drinks included in the price. We pointed this out to the order taker, and his immediate response was annoyed: "Oh, but you have to go now," before quickly telling us, "Come on, what are you having?" Honestly, we felt more like a nuisance than a customer.

11/01/2026: I went to Mosè to buy some pastries and was very disappointed. The prices are exorbitantly high for the quality of the product: a price that doesn't justify the final result at all. Furthermore, some of the desserts didn't seem particularly tasty. Considering the overall cost, I don't think it's worth the expense.
