The family atmosphere, cuisine, and service, the friendly staff, the retro decor, and the ever-present but never intrusive cats make the experience more like dining at a friend's house than simply eating in a restaurant. La Forastera is my one-of-a-kind "place of the heart," a business to be protected and supported in every way.
03/10/2025: Authentic and relaxed local restaurant. Everything was really delicious and the view was stunning. We had limoncello and Aperol spritz which were very good.

06/10/2025: I visited this place for a simple breakfast, but the experience exceeded my expectations from the very first moment. What immediately struck me was the pomegranate juice—a refined and unexpected choice, demonstrating the attention to quality and variety.
The pastries are excellent: fragrant, carefully crafted, and irresistible, so much so that I couldn't stop at just one pastry, but wanted two. Every bite confirmed the freshness and quality of the products.
The service was impeccable, with friendly, smiling staff that contributed to the even more pleasant atmosphere.
In short, a simple yet perfect breakfast, where quality meets courtesy. A recommended stop for starting the day with flavor and a good mood.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative.
Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

We ate wonderfully, and especially for our 8-month-old baby, we were able to enjoy the kitchen and local products to make baby food. We felt at home and at home! Perfect for those who want to relax and unwind from the city!
10/08/2025: It's out of the way but has a magnificent view of the sunset, the rooms are large and the welcome spritz is very much appreciated. The pool is large and the deckchairs are not extra which is very much appreciated in Italy 😉 the service is attentive.

11/09/2025: Excellent service, a wide selection of desserts, and very friendly and professional staff. They make you feel comfortable when choosing your dessert. Today, they were launching a new pistachio dessert, which we were the first to try, and it was excellent. Congratulations!
03/09/2025: I accidentally saw the ad on Tick Tock and wanted to try it. The place is spacious and clean. Easy street parking. The ricotta is excellent, and the cannoli, filled to order, are definitely something else. I ordered the Maxi, but I would have eaten another anyway. The staff is kind and professional.

20/07/2025: I hate to leave this comment, but I just can't help it. I'm giving a one-star rating for everything, but because I'm nice. Service is poor; they don't remember your orders. The atmosphere is quite nice, but after a while, standing outside, it smells like a bathroom. The food is extremely poor quality: dry bruschetta, bagged fried food, low-quality meat, overcooked, dishes passed from table to table (bread, salad), and, on top of all this, the service is incredibly slow. This is the fourth time we've been here; not a typical story.
27/05/2025: Good service but neglected and outdated place with old and peeling chairs. Food not great, especially the meat strips a disappointment. Only the appetizer was acceptable. Sorry but it is not a place I would recommend

01/05/2025: Gita con amici per 4 giorni; trattoria scelta dopo aver consultato recensioni Tripadvisor. In un ambiente semplice, ci siamo trovati talmente bene che abbiamo pranzato e cenato solo lì per tutto il soggiorno, piatti molto buoni e prezzi eccellenti. Da segnalare spaghetti con gli scampi, polipo alla griglia, gnocchetti alla sorrentina, parmigiana di melanzane e pesce spada ai ferri. Apprezzabile la cordialità e disponibilità del personale, preparato anche a spiegare la preparazione di alcuni piatti.

24/10/2025: Unfortunately I have to give only one star because I can't give less! I ordered a 2 kilo cake, but it was very little cake, 1.5 kg of cream only, the flavour was also decent but paying €50 for 2 kg of cream is definitely not worth it.
22/10/2025: TOP...purchased and brought back to the north the sfogliatelle and babà, superb. Highly recommended.
