Everything is cooked according to Donna Clelia's recipes. Alessandro is the manager of the restaurant. Amazing young man loving his job. If you want fresh sea food from local catch. This is the place!

30/10/2024: Wir sind seit Jahren Stammgast im Vivara, wenn wir auf Procida sind. Diesmal waren wir 35 Personen, nur für einen Nachmittag im Vivara, und der Betreiber hat extra für uns den Rooftop aufgemacht. Das Essen und der Service waren wie immer hervorragend. Grazie Mille wir kommen 2025 wieder.

20/10/2024: Serata di fine settembre con i nipoti (grandi). Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto cenare all’aperto perché la serata non lo permetteva ma anche all’interno siamo stati benissimo anzi forse meglio in quanto abbiamo potuto dilungarci nelle chiacchiere. Il cibo perfetto: eccellente ed abbondante. Personalmente vorrei consigliare la frittura: sublime! Il personale solerte e gentilissimo.

24/04/2025: I went to the Medina pizzeria at the beginning of April with my Austrian high school students for a pizza workshop. They promised us over the phone that the workshop would last about two hours including pizza preparation, water and a drink of your choice for €40 per person, so considering the price we expected a nice and productive experience which instead was not at all. The pizza chefs were clearly bored with our presence and instead of two hours the whole thing lasted less than an hour, including dinner. Furthermore, we received the drinks only after my explicit request to the pizza chef as we were left alone in the room and the waiters were literally divided. It's a shame because the students would have liked to know more about the origins of the famous Neapolitan pizza but it was practically all a scam.

22/04/2025: We were here on Easter Monday with friends. Cozy place and nothing to say about the service: the waiter was very kind. Unfortunately the menu disappointed us. Very few first courses (5 or 6 in total), frozen starters and little choice in general. No real typical Neapolitan dishes, apart from the Genoese. Some proposals, such as the pineapple hamburger, are a bit out of keeping with the idea of ​​a trattoria. The final bill was quite salty, considering that we only had an appetizer and a first course. It looked more like a pizzeria than a trattoria. A curious episode: while we were deciding what to order, we saw pasta and potatoes being served at the next table. When we asked if it was available, we were told that only a few portions had been prepared and they were already sold out — a questionable organizational choice, especially on a holiday. I wouldn't go back. Disappointing experience.

08/02/2025: The place is very characteristic with the owner and the owner are fond of the place and dedicate themselves a lot to the cooking and the choice of products to prepare everything. The result can be felt, because both the pizza and the dishes are of quality and with a characteristic flavour. Also nice is the way of showing the menu on large wooden boards, which are rotated between the tables. The service is a little slow but this is normal given that every single product is all freshly prepared by them and that the kitchen is small. Compliments.

09/04/2025: Ho difficoltà a recensire questo locale così conosciuto sui social grazie alla sovraesposizione del titolare che continuamente, con il suo “savoir faire”, pubblicizza il suo prodotto. Il posto è bruttino assai, così com’è bruttino il vicoletto in cui si trova. È una braceria che serve anche della buona carne ma tutto il resto è discutibile. Il proprietario che con atteggiamento trash accoglie i clienti, comanda come un despota i suoi collaboratori, li rimprovera e dulcis in fundo bestemmia perché ad alcuni tavoli ai clienti che hanno finito di mangiare non è stato ancora portato il conto….. perché lui fuori ha gente che aspetta e vuole sedersi. Per carità…..

16/04/2025: Not recommended restaurant, you have to eat quickly, we ordered a starter, 8 terrible portions, they only brought a small taste and not a complete one, while at the next table it was super abundant. Mixed fried food, burnt and with only one small prawn.

16/04/2025: After waiting 1 hour and a confirmed order from the store and while time was running out and the countdown was running, efood canceled our order, efood says the store was closed or it rejected it but on Google the store appears open, and as we know someone has to accept the order and needs approval. So goodbye meat, we will never eat meat again...
