12/11/2024: We ordered a 40€ bottle of wine, but they accidentally gave us a 140€. We didn't realise until the bill came as we don't really know much about wine. They argued with us and told us we ordered that one and forced us to pay for it. Terrible service.

04/11/2024: Provato a cena Venerdi’ 1 Novembre. Location strepitosa, una terrazza su Positano. Da sola vale il viaggio. Entree’ della casa molto buono ( una crema di pomodoro e melanzane in un fagottino di pasta fillo), due antipasti di mare ( una tartare e un polpo vedi foto), due spaghetti a vongole (come dicono qua) perfetti come cottura e mantecatura. A chiudere due dolci, un classico baba’ e una charlotte ai frutti rossi. Un’ottima bottiglia di chardonnay dry e un rapporto qualita’ prezzo corretto( 200 euro in due) per qualita’ dell’offerta, servizio attento ma non invadente, struttura magnifica. Vale il viaggio!

13/01/2025: As BBQ enthusiasts and after seeing various video reviews on social media, we decided to try Smokeckey Joe. The attention to the customer was immediate right from the booking phone call, complete with directions to the car parks close to the venue. Very beautiful location in the center of Aversa and a more than courteous welcome from both the owner and the dining room staff who were ready to provide us with explanations about the dishes and to share a chat with us. We tasted various appetizers including the delicious sweet potatoes and the delicious smoked meatballs. We then chose the tray with various types of meat and cooking methods and, being three of us, we tasted a bit of everything. All very good and with real preparations (not from the supermarket!). Super pulled pork and pork belly :). What can I say, absolutely worth trying and trying again.

13/10/2024: Empresa familiar con comida increíble y excelente servicio. Comimos anchoas, flores rellenas de calabacín y ensalada caprese para empezar. Seguido de los involtini de pez espada y berenjena, los ñoquis de marisco, el risotto y la lingüina de calabacín. Cada plato era fabuloso y no podíamos haber pedido un mejor servicio. Nuestra mejor comida hasta ahora desde que hemos estado en el área de Nápoles.

06/10/2024: Wurden vom Chef des Lokals eingeladen hier zu essen, nachdem er uns seinen Parkplatz gegeben hat, damit wir die Ausgrabungen besichtigen können! Nach der Rückkehr haben wir dann in seinem Lokal gegessen: hervorragende Gerichte, sehr nettes Service, Preis/Leistung hat in etwa gestimmt, billig war es nicht!

31/08/2024: Super good fish cured meats... something new never seen before

16/08/2024: The idea of ​​the fish restaurant is there, but a few things need to be fixed. Let me start by saying that I was there for dinner on the evening of August 15th, probably some oversights could depend on this. The eye immediately fell on the stained crockery, which was not positive because I believe hygiene is the basis of a good experience. We ordered a mixed starter, a white mussel soup and some wine. The starter arrived on time despite there being something clearly frozen (the prawns), some ideas were interesting but needed to be developed better (the swordfish porchetta). The mussel soup arrived after about 3 quarters of an hour, despite the place not being very full and after a series of bickering between diners about the power of the air conditioning. The house wine is approved. The waiter is very friendly, right for the type of place but there is still a lot to learn. Overall, taking various factors into consideration, I would define the place as an unpretentious fish restaurant. The availability is there, we need to work on everything else. I hope this review can help you and encourage you to improve.

12/01/2025: My experience was quite positive regarding the food. Quite abundant, for a wedding anniversary with fish starter, two pastas, second course, fruit. There are several flaws that lead me to leave a lower rating... the fish salad wasn't fresh (or maybe it was) and we had some problems with the heating... it was freezing in that room like never before... they didn't reach the 18 degrees...

30/12/2024: Intrigued after reading the positive reviews, we enter this restaurant-pizzeria in the heart of the Chiaia district. The environment is very nice and aesthetically beautiful, which is why I don't give 1 star. High prices not in line with the quality of the food, mediocre table service, very long wait to eat. We definitely won't be back.

30/10/2024: Jack and Maria Luisa with their restaurant have given back to the beautiful square of Forio that genuine Ischia atmosphere full of good taste and simple elegance which was the characteristic of Ischia in the sixties and seventies. The cuisine is first class as is the pizza. Well done... I would like to point out, as you can see in the photo that, despite the seasonal closure, some lovely fabric curtains are left inside the windows and some decorative plants are left outside to maintain a certain aesthetic. Having said this, it would be nice if during the winter the cars weren't parked against the door (as is bad custom) to allow the environment of the little square to remain pleasant for the islanders themselves and for the tourists.

07/11/2024: Anfang November so ein tolles Erlebnis. Sonnenschein, eine perfekte Pasta, augezeichneter Rotwein, supernette Bedienung dazu eine Aussicht wie im Film. Obendrauf noch alles zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Es könnte nicht besser sein. Grazie

02/11/2024: Sono in genere restio a mettere 5 stelle sia perché vorrebbe dire “perfezione” (che non esiste) sia perché vi è il rischio che l’attività recensita si adagia sugli allori, ma questa volta non potevo non metterle. Ho trovato tutto appunto “perfetto” al punto che dopo averci cenato ci sono tornato a pranzo il giorno dopo. Ci si trova nell’affascinante Marina del Cantone, un piccolo borgo immutato da sempre. Vi è una terrazza esterna (a 10 metri dal mare) molto carina e molto curata e una sala interna certamente diversa ma accettabile. La proprietaria è una signora gentile, quasi di altri tempi; con lei ci lavorano i suoi 3 gemelli e il marito, una famiglia veramente carina. Ho mangiato nei miei due pasti: treccia con pomodorini e rucola, parmigiana di melanzane, calamaretti fritti, julienne di calamari, gamberi kataifi, bruschette con pomodorini come antipasti, spaghetti alla nerano e tagliolini al nero di seppia, lupini e verza e ho provato anche l’angus presa da mio figlio. Tutto ottimo Sinceri complimenti specialmente perché mantengono una autenticità, un’originalità e sopratutto un ottimo rapporto qualità - prezzo, tutte caratteristiche smarrite dai ristoranti della zona. Spero non succederà mai a Domenico and co.
