19/01/2025: If you want to have lunch in a restaurant on a Sunday and taste the genuine taste of the ingredients you can't help but try to come here. A stone's throw from the sanctuary is an exceptional compromise between quality, quantity and price of food. It's like eating at home and not having the hassle of washing the dishes and tidying up the kitchen.

03/01/2025: The first impression is not the best and one thinks one has made a mistake, they make us sit at a table that is still partially set and the menu is a rewritable blackboard. After the first impression we eat two first courses that are truly spectacular and delicious as well as abundant. In the meantime, other diners arrive who I understand are from the area, which confirms to me that the food is always good. Before leaving I look at the other tables and see that even the second courses, which we didn't take, are plentiful and seem delicious. Absolutely promoted and worth revisiting. I forgot.... 2 first courses, house wine (good) and 1/2 liter of water for the total price of 12 euros 😳😳

25/11/2024: We went and I don't think we will go again. Food wasn't the best, price even worse. So place to be abolished!!!!!!

14/10/2024: We had the best experience staying at Giardini Calce! Tania and her team were so helpful even in the weeks leading up to our trip. Their proactive communication was so helpful in preparing our travel upon arrival. While we were there, they were incredibly accommodating and made sure that we felt comfortable in the area and had plenty of options for daytime activities and offered many dining recommendations. The rooms were clean and very spacious, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious and so convenient. The hotel is situated right in the center of Ravello which made dining and exploring that much easier. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

12/07/2024: I was there for a friends wedding. The place is a happy oasis at the foot of Vesuvius. Internal parking adequate for the structure. High quality products. The structure is obsessively kept in perfect order which is truly pleasant. In short, I spent an excellent time in the company of friends and relatives in a comfortable and classy environment.

10/07/2024: Our wedding was perfect despite the rain that ruined the plans, the service, the quality of the food, the arrangements and above all the management of the event were impeccable. From the beginning we did not feel the need to keep the situation under control and we gave the Villa di Bacco staff full trust, we would do it again a thousand times.

10/11/2024: Il ristorante si trova a ridosso dall'area archeologica. L'ambiente è molto semplice ma accogliente, il personale gentile e preparato. Ottime tutte le pietanze, in particolare il risotto agli agrumi e gamberi, servito nel percorso di mare "Thalasso Posia", è stato sublime!

05/10/2024: Das Essen war unterirdisch. Wir hatten Tintenfisch, der irgendwie roh mit undefinierbarem gefüllt war und nicht gut war. Dann hatte mein Mann Risotto, das zu stark nach Essig geschmeckt hat. Ich habe gebratene Ravioli gefüllt mit Kichererbsen bestellt, die wirklich grauenvoll waren. Schmeckten als wären 3 Tage alte Ravioli nochmal gebraten worden. Wir hätten es eigentlich zurückgehen lassen sollen, aber wir waren sehr hungrig. Das Brot und die amuse gueule waren sehr lecker. Der Wein war exzellent. (Fiano di Avelino) Von einem Fleisch/Fischgang hatte uns der Ober abgeraten - 2 Gänge würden reichen - Gottseidank! Ein Menü wurde erst gar nicht angeboten. Auf ein Dessert haben wir dann verzichtet. Das Lokal war bis auf drei andere Personen total leer. Die Ober unterhielten sich. Nachgeschenkt haben wir uns selber. Wir haben noch nie für 150 € so schlecht gegessen!

29/08/2024: The food is great! as a rotisserie it really has an infinite variety to say the least, for all tastes, perhaps only vegans can't eat there. There are delicious things for children and adults, with a lot of choice. The place is completely renovated and has an inside space and an outside space. The owners are delightful people, kind and always smiling, they always have a word to exchange typical of southern people which makes everything even more pleasant. The wait when I was there wasn't long, in fact everything was very quick, just enough time to decide what to get. Obviously if one goes there on a Saturday evening between 8.30/9pm (which is the peak dinner time) it is clear that one might find a bit of a queue. Just be a little tolerant. I can't find any faults, the food is good, the owners delightful, better than that!

04/06/2024: The location beautiful, the meat we have chosen with the butcher. 750 gr of the finest steak, you can cut it like butter and it melts in your mouth. Just perfect for meatlovers.

17/11/2024: Great hotel, location was perfect (very close to centre of town, easy enough to walk to from train and bus as well), the grounds were very pretty and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful, staff were very helpful and friendly, room was very big and was well equipped, bed was probably the best we had in Europe, pool and spa was great. And they had some very cute and friendly dogs 😂

17/11/2024: I saw this property by chance, as it was not far from the place where I was staying. Since it also has a spa I asked them if they did manicures. I was told yes and that the cost was thirty euros as it was a spa manicure complete with hand scrub. However, I expected it to be worth thirty euros, but instead they use quite cheap, cheap nail polishes, at least the one I saw and which was used for me. It took a long time for it to dry, after two hours it was already "caught" here and there... beautiful color but unfortunately poor quality. Obviously someone who spends thirty euros expects a nail polish of at least good quality, which lasts a couple of days, I'm not saying long... or at least an evening! I went to complain and was told that it was aimed more at the spa side therefore on the massage and instant scrub that was given to me and that I should have said it immediately but obviously it didn't "ruin" immediately because at the beginning I tried to stay very careful. I was told to come back sometime to put it back but since I'm not from the area I honestly don't feel like it. In short, spending thirty euros for this type of treatment seems excessive to me... money down the drain... one wants to spend even more but it must be worth it... I was expecting at least a long-lasting nail polish or some particular product... In short, the game wasn't worth it, at the beginning I was also enthusiastic about the very beautiful color and the kind beautician, but seeing the result in the following hours I was disappointed.

03/11/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per caso. Abbiamo pranzato con menù della casa. Antipasto abbondante composto da affettati formaggi parmigiana e peperoni cruschi , primi piatti composti da ravioli e secondi di carne Il dessert composto da babà della casa con crema e amarene davvero squisito La gentilezza è di casa Consigliato per passare una splendida giornata

08/10/2024: In tutta onestà, se una famiglia percorrere più di un' ora di macchina per recarsi in un agriturismo con dei bambini ne deve valere pure la pena, altrimenti non ha senso, uno va a pranzo alla trattoria sotto casa! Di animali nemmeno l' ombra,le giostrine sono uno scivolo impraticabile perché pieno di erba alta fino al polpaccio, il cibo nulla di che, un antipasto a detta loro caldo e freddo con due zucchine marinate crude insapori, 2 peperoni arrostiti,un pezzetto microscopico di parmigiana e delle cipolle al forno che sembravano lesse e poi la solita fetta di prosciutto e formaggio. Un primo piatto che profumava palesemente di dado star, i prezzi per quello che offrono non sono affatto economici, e tendono a non voler portare il menù a tavola, bisogna insistere per averlo. Ma dove sono finiti i veri agriturismi di una volta? Passa proprio la voglia di andare a pranzo fuori, soprattutto a chi sa cucinare bene, i miei figli appena siamo usciti hanno detto: mamma cucini meglio tu!!! Ho detto tutto....

04/12/2024: Una pizza orribile decantato tanti questa pizzeria ma mi sa ke di pizza non ha proprio niente impasto evidentemente non cresciuto dopo2 minuti si fa a taccoletta infatti dopo un pezzo abbiamo lasciato tutto nel piatto e con tutto ciò mal di pancia tutta la sera ingredienti molto datati a parere mio...frittura da far ridere insomma serata da cancellare scelta in un posto tetro e cupo e incompetente come quello.

03/11/2024: I really like this place, I was happy to go back to introduce it to a friend. The pizza is of high quality, the dough is perfectly leavened and digestible with always top ingredients, I have tasted multiple pizzas and have always been satisfied with the flavours. Tasty and generous portions of fried foods. Perfect and unbeatable price in relation to the quality. My parents have been customers for more years than me and they guarantee that the quality of the food has always been high. A place frequented by people of all ages where there is always a queue to enter is already a guarantee in itself, highly recommended. The room is spacious, the furnishings have a vintage taste, perhaps I would add some colorful themed paintings there too. The staff is extremely courteous, they are always smiling in the dining room and it is very nice to see people who work with this dedication. Fantastic!

13/01/2025: Locale situato nel cuore del Vomero. Personalmente essendo vomerese ho molto spesso frequentato questo ristorante sia con gli amici sia con i familiari per festeggiare qualche evento. Inoltre Ogni volta che venivano in visita amici o parenti da fuori Napoli non avevo nessun dubbio si va alla Trattoria Vanvitelli in quanto oltre alla location molto carina si mangiava molto bene ed i prezzi erano ragionevoli. Forse a causa del cambio della gestione le cose sono andate a peggiorare ma non di poco .... di tantissimo. L'ultima volta che ci sono stato appunto con degli amici le porzioni erano ridottissime mentre i prezzi non lo erano per niente anzi ..... la qualità è discreta ma niente che ti può colpire il palato positivamente da dire "ritornerò". Infine io ed un'amico abbia ordinato le pizze (impasto pessimo era gommosa) che sono arrivate solo dopo 1 ora dall'ordinazione quando tutti gli altri avevano anche digerito e tengo a precisare che non era un sabato e neanche un venerdi e che quindi il locale non era per niente affollato. Abbiamo speso una cifra pazzesca. eravamo in 8 ed il conto è stato di 320 euro che comprendeva due portate di fritti, due Margherite un primo piatto e 5 secondi di carne. Da bere 2 bottiglie di acqua, 2 coca cola 2 birre medie e 2 birre piccole. E meno male che eravamo indecisi se concludere con il dolce o meno!!!!Mi dispiace ma mai più!!

05/01/2025: Primi di pesce da mettere paura , cozze e vongole non fresche ed addirittura ghiacciate !!!! Lamentandoci con il cameriere ci ha portato altre vongole identiche , si sentiva proprio che il pesce non era fresco e gusci e pesce ghiacciato che poco dopo ho vomitato in bagno che mi hanno fatto immediatamente male , rivolgendomi con il direttore dicendo dell accaduto oltre a dirci che non era possibile del pesce abbiamo pagato un conto esagerato, 3 primi immangiabili e 1 pizza con acqua e vino della casa 120 euro, un furto !!! Sconsiglio vivamente non ci tornerò MAI PIÙ!!!
