23/06/2025: One of the oldest pizzeria restaurants in San Giorgio a Cremano. Excellent food, service and environment. Excellent pizza, so soft that you can even enjoy the crust. As first courses I suggest both the risotto alla pescatora and the spaghetti with clams in white. As second courses, fried prawns and calamari or sliced ​​meat with rocket and flakes of parmesan. The starters are also excellent. Wide choice of wines. Highly recommended place.

05/05/2025: Domenica 4/05 alle 12.00 ho comprato 4 sfogliatelle e 3 babà di cui avevo chiesto di mettere il rum mi sono accertata che le sfogliatelle erano con i canditi e mi è stato detto di sì essendo una pasticceria dal 1868. Quando abbiamo mangiato i babà erano insapori e le sfogliatelle mediocri e senza candidi sono rimasta delusa e non ho fatto una bella figura portandoli a familiari di Napoli.

09/06/2025: I'll start by saying that this isn't my first time going to this place and that the other times it was much better. We went tonight and we were already disappointed by the cleanliness of the plates and cutlery (I don't know if you can see it in the photos but they were literally dirty). Another disappointing thing was the rush of the staff, the sandwich even arrived 1 minute after the appetizer... a sandwich that this evening, or rather the sandwiches, were absolutely nothing special. I ordered a sandwich with fried onion rings and there was one inside... literally one... The other was with fried provola, bacon, cheddar, and yet it was dry and very dry... a disappointment

25/05/2025: Total disappointment: We contacted this restaurant to request a quote and with great availability, the Director set us an appointment in the morning, despite the many commitments of the day. Once we arrived, we were greeted by A., a courteous and helpful person, who explained the menu and the structure to us in detail, also showing us the table where the event would take place and providing us with all the necessary details. We left very satisfied, so much so that we called the restaurant again after about twenty minutes to confirm the date of the event. We were then asked to return to sign the contract and proceed with the payment. However, immediately after the call, when we returned to the place, we were informed that the table previously shown could no longer be guaranteed. As an alternative, we were offered an adjacent room, completely different from the room initially agreed upon, with unclear and contradictory reasons. This sudden change of attitude, combined with the lack of transparency and seriousness on the part of the management, deeply disappointed us. We therefore decided not to proceed with the reservation. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we can only express a negative opinion. Unprofessional behavior that we never expected.

14/02/2025: Ci siamo stati a San Valentino, la location molto bella, cibo molto buono e curato nei particolari con panorama stupendo e romantico. Il personale disponibile e sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente. Da ritornarci.

20/05/2025: Il ristorante è storico. E' un punto di riferimento sicuro per gli abitanti e i turisti. Offre un ambiente accogliente e una cucina varia. Piatti tipici della tradizione gesualdina, soprattutto nei primi. Ottima la carne alla brace. Contorni dell'orto e patate fritte notevoli. La pizza è buonissima. L'unica pecca è il servizio che, per quanto molto cortese e disponibile, è decisamente lento, ma forse noi di città che siamo abituati a grandi numeri e al mordi e fuggi lo notiamo particolarmente. Dallo scorso anno è cambiata la proprietà, pur rimandendo il personale storico. Vediamo come cambierà, se manterrà le caretteristiche positive che ha sempre avuto oppure no. Straconsigliato anche per i prezzi che sono decisamente abbordabili.

16/05/2025: We were there one evening with my husband and I can say that in addition to being located near the sea, the food was delicious 😍.. freshness and quality.. we had a really good time.. the portions were also excellent.. from Sicily we will definitely return next time!

09/05/2025: Ambiance agréable et service rapide et aimable. Excellents scampis grillés accompagnés d’une salade très bien assaisonnée. Parking dans les environs plus ou moins immédiats, première heure 1 euro, puis 2 euros par heure jusqu’à minuit, dimanche compris.

04/01/2025: Dopo sette anni siamo tornati sulla costiera Amalfitana. A dire la verità siamo tornati per lo Chef Peppe e la sua cucina. Giuseppe ed Antonietta ci hanno accolti e coccolati nel loro nuovo Agriturismo con gentilezza e affetto. Un agriturismo realizzato con cura in un'oasi di verde. Nuova location per i piatti dello Chef che continuano ad essere straordinari. Abbiamo ritrovato i fantastici tagliolini al limone e tutti gli altri piatti dove, con creatività e passione, vengono esaltati i prodotti del territorio. Grazie e a presto

19/06/2025: Si mangia abbastanza bene Il servizio è buono ma due pecche le ho segnalate alla cassa: -Mettere 4 persone in un tavolo da 2 considerando che i piatti da portata sono parecchio grandi implica un grosso esercizio di equlibrismo. -Quando ci sono 30 Gradi è importante accendere l'aria condizionata.

15/06/2025: Con il cambio di gestione un'altra storica icona ischitana crolla nella approssimazione e nel decadimento generale della zona del porto. Lo staff è inadeguato e non perché composto da russi, sudamericani o dello srilanka che con l'ospitalità ischitana poco hanno a che vedere, ma per la incompetenza. Le ordinazioni sono risultate sbagliate, l'aria condizionata rotta, i piatti di pesce insipidi. Si sono salvate le pizze ed un conto non troppo salato.

18/06/2025: Fermarsi per una cena da U’ Zifaro è un’esperienza imperdibile, che chiunque dovrebbe provare almeno una volta nella vita… Gli antipasti sono ottimi, i primi una delizia, i secondi con contorni imperdibili ed i dolci una degna conclusione: cito soltanto a mo’ di esempio i paccheri al pesce spada e melanzane gustosi e degni di uno chef stellato, il fritto imperiale saporito ed abbondante, il contorno di cicoria con olive nere che ricorda i piatti della nonna, la millefoglie che si scioglieva in bocca… se poi aggiungete la splendida posizione sul golfo dove lo sguardo corre fino a Diamante, l’ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo (i costi sono onestissimi per le delizie che si mangiano ed ogni euro vale la spesa), la professionalità e la gentilezza del cameriere e la spontaneità e la simpatia travolgente di Vito capirete perché vale la pena programmare il proprio cammino per fare almeno una sosta in questo paradiso.

18/06/2025: We are a couple living in the Netherlands, spending a week on holiday in the Cilento region, in the town of Scario. During our stay, we discovered the restaurant U Zifaro, and it was a truly wonderful surprise! We had dinner on the terrace with a sea view, which offers a breathtaking view and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very kind and welcoming. A special thanks to Mario, a local young man who was polite, courteous, and very professional in serving us. We ordered the swordfish with citrus, which was delicious—fresh and perfectly cooked. Following Mario’s recommendation, we paired it with a Friulian white wine, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The desserts were also amazing, the perfect way to end a fantastic meal. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great seafood, stunning views, and excellent service.
