04/10/2025: Excellent food, decent service, especially since the menu is announced verbally, so you can't read or see the prices, which were in fact exorbitant. You pay for quality, of course, but considering the location and service... I'd say the prices should be revised. 98 euros for an appetizer for two, a first course, a second course, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine. 70 euros would have been fair and reasonable.

20/06/2025: We were at Locanda di Alfonso and we came away really enthusiastic. From the first moment we felt welcomed with warmth and professionalism: Alfonso and his staff made us feel at home, with a rare kindness and genuine attention to the customer. We started with a fish appetizer, first cold then hot: a journey of flavors, carefully prepared and tasty, but it was with the fried food that we were really impressed. Very light, crunchy, tasty but never greasy, truly one of the best we have ever tasted. Next, the paccheri with anglerfish and aubergines: a balanced dish, rich but delicate, finger-licking good. The quality of the raw materials can be felt in every bite, and the combination of flavors was surprising. The cuisine is genuine but refined, made with passion and with fresh products. It is clear that behind it there is experience, love for food and respect for those who taste it. A heartfelt thank you to Alfonso for the hospitality and the quality offered. We will definitely be back…and we will bring our friends too!

28/10/2025: There are plenty of places to get gelato in Sorrento but my favorite was Bougajnvillea. There are an overwhelming amount of options and flavors but the staff is kind and patient and happy to give a recommendation if needed. I went for the Dubai Chocolate and was hooked. Rich and chocolaty with a ribbon of pistachio cream and crunchy pistachio pieces. I still dream about it. There is both seating inside and out. Prices are reasonable and you get a good sized scoop. Highly recommend!

19/11/2025: The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to recommend the best product. The atmosphere is welcoming and instills trust. "Naples is a place of profound moral rigor, where cutting-edge German thought is bent to the obligations of eternal survival."... 29/10/2025: At this authentic restaurant, I tried both the generous meat menu with delicious, homemade vegetable sides (the prosciutto was excellent), and the fish dinner. The seafood appetizer was excellent, and I highly recommend it. The owner is truly hospitable and friendly. Definitely worth returning!

10/10/2025: Great takeaway pizza place with fair prices and delicious pizza. The service was friendly and efficient, and there are plenty of other dishes on the menu we haven’t tried yet. They also offer wine, drinks, and the option to sit and eat on site.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative. Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

Chef Pasquale Palamaro's cuisine is a never boring local Mediterranean cuisine... from the welcome to the final pampering, a crescendo of flavors... if I had to make a musical comparison, Maurice Ravel's Bolero is the soundtrack to his menu... The dining room staff manages to complete the experience in an excellent manner... Thank you, thank you, thank you!

15/08/2025: impeccable food, extraordinary wine, and warm service, all in a truly astonishing setting. continually surprising in the best way, well deserving of its star and even two more… cannot recommend highly enough for a special occasion on the island of ischia. If I’m fortunate enough to one day return I certainly will!!

04/10/2025: It's okay, but there are better restaurants nearby. Certificate from 2013, so it may have had other owners back then. Now an Indian cooks Italian.

28/09/2025: Delicious food in a family atmosphere, a trattoria for locals. The food is cheaper than the average Naples restaurant, but incredibly delicious. Great for lunch.

16/11/2025: Poor service. Music only recommended for those over 60/70. The location is small and unwelcoming. I even found a dirty glass, and when I asked for a replacement, no one came. I strongly advise against it.

02/11/2025: I haven't had the pleasure of trying this place, but I can say that the impression I got simply by calling to make a reservation was truly negative. How can you respond to a customer calling to make a reservation: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me?"... I was perplexed and asked him to repeat the question to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, and he repeated: "Fondo Lazzaro, tell me." It's a real shame if this place offers so much. I hope it's not the owner who responds like that, but an employee, and that this review of mine can be helpful. I'd love to be able to eat the things a dear friend of mine told me about.

14/10/2025: Great pizza! Unfortunately the restaurant is difficult to reach by telephone / messenger to check the opening hours. Monday was closed when we arrived there and there was no information on opening hours outside. Tuesday was open although according to Google it should be closed... please improve the situation.

01/08/2025: If I could give this evening a 0, it would be the perfect rating. Pizza was 45 minutes late from the time scheduled on the phone, pizza with sauce and raw potatoes and raw cordoni. Marinara was incredibly spicy. Potato croquettes were full of pepper. This order ruined the evening.

12/10/2025: MEDIOCRE FIXED MENU, MEDIOCRE QUALITY OF PRODUCTS, EVERYTHING NEEDS IMPROVEMENT DESPITE THE FISH MONEY SHOP. THE FISH FIRST COURSE IS NOTHING SPECIAL. AS SOON AS YOU CHOOSE SOMETHING OUTSIDE THE FIXED MENU YOU PAY A LOT, AND IT'S NOT WORTH IT SINCE IN THE END OF THE DAY IT'S JUST A FISH MONEY SHOP, YOU SPEND AS MUCH AS A RESTAURANT! THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD ON THE FIXED MENUS NEEDS IMPROVEMENT!

03/09/2025: 2 adults and 2 children. The appetizers for two arrived immediately, an hour later the first course for a child, another half hour later the first course for us two parents, and after another half hour and 3 reminders, my daughter's first course (wrong) arrived. After asking when the second course would arrive, it took 2 and a half hours for a second course to arrive, which was also wrong. Shame!!!

21/08/2025: We had spaghetti with fresh tomato and scallops with lemon, both tasteless.

31/07/2025: A charming place, with incredibly fresh and well-prepared fish, and excellent first courses with just the right amount of seasoning that adds flavor to the dish, far removed from those oil-soaked first courses that rival only plain pasta. Compliments to the chef. Friendly and courteous staff. Excellent value for money... what more can I say? Highly recommended, we'll be back soon.
