04/10/2025: Excellent food, decent service, especially since the menu is announced verbally, so you can't read or see the prices, which were in fact exorbitant. You pay for quality, of course, but considering the location and service... I'd say the prices should be revised. 98 euros for an appetizer for two, a first course, a second course, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine. 70 euros would have been fair and reasonable.

20/06/2025: We were at Locanda di Alfonso and we came away really enthusiastic. From the first moment we felt welcomed with warmth and professionalism: Alfonso and his staff made us feel at home, with a rare kindness and genuine attention to the customer. We started with a fish appetizer, first cold then hot: a journey of flavors, carefully prepared and tasty, but it was with the fried food that we were really impressed. Very light, crunchy, tasty but never greasy, truly one of the best we have ever tasted. Next, the paccheri with anglerfish and aubergines: a balanced dish, rich but delicate, finger-licking good. The quality of the raw materials can be felt in every bite, and the combination of flavors was surprising. The cuisine is genuine but refined, made with passion and with fresh products. It is clear that behind it there is experience, love for food and respect for those who taste it. A heartfelt thank you to Alfonso for the hospitality and the quality offered. We will definitely be back…and we will bring our friends too!

30/11/2025: We just left your restaurant. Our experience was absolutely disgraceful. The wait was incredibly long. We ordered an appetizer and two first courses, and we found hair on both. Despite reporting the incident, the manager had the nerve to charge us. We noticed a similar incident at the next table. This demonstrates a gross negligence in hygiene standards. I hope the local health authority (ASL) visits you as soon as possible for the necessary checks.

30/11/2025: I recommend everyone to stop by Zi Teresa for lunch, dinner, and why not? Even dessert is delicious, a Sicilian cassata. The best pizza in Naples with zeppola and broccoli rabe, then I highly recommend a stay at Excélsior D10.

07/09/2025: A restaurant with a breathtaking view of the village of Sant'Angelo... It's truly a haven for the senses... The cuisine is always impeccable, using fresh ingredients. We enjoyed their dishes for a week while staying at the hotel, and every dish was excellent... you can choose between the daily menu and the à la carte menu... The wine selection is also excellent. The staff is super friendly.

24/09/2025: Historic place in Frattamaggiore. Pizza and sandwiches always excellent. In my opinion, the speed of service should improve, but all in all, if you're in good company you don't even notice. Too bad that when your stomach is hungry, it doesn't have the same opinion.

17/08/2025: You order a cake and they give you another one, highly rude staff and they even make fun of you, especially the women and a rude and rude gentleman I think is the pastry chef and should be fired immediately... They give you the cake Without product traceability sheet and Without batches of origin... unpleasant taste.... Not only did we pay an exaggerated price but we also threw it away because of the terrible taste and terrible cake topping... what can I say, I will never ever go to that horrible place again, I advise you not to go there either, you will be disappointed, horrendous!

03/08/2025: I've never written a review in my life, but unfortunately I couldn't help myself. The pastry shop is excellent, the staff have nothing to say, but as for the bathrooms, they're disgusting, dirty, and the door won't lock because the lock is broken. Plus, the doors don't have gender-specific markings, so you could use both bathrooms without having to resort to fire extinguishers. After demonstrating, I was even mocked with a fake smile.

14/10/2025: Poor A classic tourist franchise with no service whatsoever and subpar pizza. The dough is rubbery, the ingredients aren't exactly excellent. The waiters are tired and uninterested. I left the whole pizza behind; they didn't even ask why. I understand it's cheap, but I don't recommend it and I'll never go back.

17/07/2025: A great pizzeria located just outside Naples’ historic center, in the Vomero neighborhood. The pizza was absolutely perfect, though the salad was a bit underwhelming. It’s a spot mainly frequented by local Neapolitans.

02/11/2025: The portions of pasta were hallucinatingly large in the best sense of the word, not to mention that the dessert was out of this world.

02/11/2025: We arrived at this restaurant this evening after a trip. This place was chosen for the splendid photos they posted, but it was a complete disappointment. The waitress who took our order and brought our dishes was shamefully chewing gum. We wanted starters, but we were notified only when we were already at the table that the kitchen is closed for the evening and you can only get a few main courses by phone. They simply told us not to go later than 9:30 PM. The pizza dough was raw and without salt. The tomatoes on my pizza were sour. They had to remake the pizza, but the tomatoes still weren't good. I had warned them that they could avoid adding them, but there was no way. I asked for the pleasure of making pasta with tomato sauce, at least for my little daughter. It's a mystery, but in the end, it was done. The result? Raw, unsalted sauce! I asked the waitress for a second bottle of water, but she was sitting there talking about the TV show Affari Tuoi 🤦🏻‍♀️ We asked for three boxes of pizza because in the end, two adults and four children didn't eat, and before giving us three boxes, they wanted to check for strange things. I usually enjoy photographing dishes, but here, there was absolutely nothing to avoid.

03/12/2025: Hidden GEM! My wife and I had plans to another restaurant that was 8 blocks away. We crossed paths with this locale late at night past 9pm and boy what a surpise! I ordered the Spaghetti Ai Frutti Di Mare and can tell you was the best I ever had. I eaten lots of seafood pasta dishes but this one stood out for it's flavor, the freshness of the seafood, mopping up the olive oil/butter pasta sauce with the bread, just amazing; totally unexpected from a place that does not look flashy or located in a "fancy" part of town. I am sure there are many hidden gems like this one; but if you are in the area of Napoli Centrale, go out of your way and try this place. It's a local business, away from the hype of Toledo commerce; just locals crafting great food!!!

22/11/2025: Excellent trattoria, the owner (Antonio), the chef (Antonio), and the waiters are all very friendly. The products are excellent, the quality is excellent, and the price is excellent. He even gave us a consommé we'd never tasted before, which was delicious. It's a shame we had to go home. If we return to Naples, we'll definitely eat there again. Highly recommended.

18/10/2025: Very good time, great place for an aperitif, the managers are kind and welcoming, very generous aperitivo and good prices.

09/10/2025: Everything is perfect, right down to the manager. They are so kind and with the aperitif (1 spritz + 1 beer 🍺) €12.00 but you have included in this price: chips, peanuts, 1 other assortment of aperitif cakes but especially for two so 2 slices of pizza, 4 small sandwiches in various flavors, and another very very good assortment. Do not hesitate to go there...! Good luck at Caffè Lalù.
