Enchanting place! I spent a wonderful evening here, and having booked for an early dinner, I was lucky enough to get a table with a truly breathtaking view. The food was excellent: we had a mixed antipasto, plus a trio of onions and Calabrian pitta, and I must say I was impressed. Initially, given the restaurant's central location, I was worried it might be too touristy; instead, everything was delicious. The quality-price ratio, especially considering the location, seemed reasonable. For three of us, we spent about 80 euros.

25/07/2026: Fabulous location, captivating service. If you arrive at 12:15, you'll leave at 2:30 and have only eaten one dish. The shrimp innards served on a plate for the crudités and fish in general, if you don't get the catch of the day, it's nothing special. It's a shame because it's beautiful but it doesn't dance.
24/07/2026: A table with a breathtaking view of Tropea, the Tyrrhenian coast, and its crystal-clear waters. Arriving at the start of service (12:30 pm), we were served promptly. The dishes were simple yet satisfying, especially the Fileja Alla 'Nduja, a delightful introduction to Calabrian flavors. Note that pizzas are only available in the evening. The service was efficient and friendly. A great place to enjoy local cuisine in an idyllic setting.

Ristorante Pizzeria Il Frago

28/01/2026: We had a really good time! I had a delicious gluten-free pizza. They had both gluten-free and gluten-free options. The crust isn't homemade, but it's a good-quality artisanal one. The place is spacious, clean, and seafront. Very friendly and helpful staff. Quick service!
