03/05/2025: Ci siamo imbattuti in questo posto per la fame. Eravamo appena arrivati a Tropea e il primo posto che abbiamo visto per pranzare al volo è stato questo. Purtroppo i prezzi sono troppo alti. Circa 15 euro per una piadina e un panino con la mortadella per i bambini. Io e mio marito abbiamo preso un piatto di pasta ciascuno di pessima qualità. L'Ho digerito il giorno dopo. Una località turistica non può permettere che si applichino prezzi del genere, è davvero vergognoso.

16/10/2025: A very nice place where you can find excellent food and special people with big hearts. Napoli pizza with friarelli and sausage isn't good... but it's amazing. Chicken al mattone... divine. Then there's the owner and the head waiter, Pasquale, with a heart as big as a house, the pizza chef with golden hands, in short... a pizzeria restaurant discovered by chance on a Thursday in October 2025... that will remain in my heart ♥️ The negative reviews certainly refer to a place with the same name but in another location.

29/07/2025: I can only applaud the lead actor's great performance. I'll start by saying that a few years ago we went to Cocis in Pizzo, near the shopping center, and twice, even though the chicken and pizza were good, they always treated us the same way: a higher bill, and when we asked for a detailed receipt, they added other dishes. We arrived on July 26th, 25th, and we ordered chicken and pizzas for a group of about 15 people. The first thing I said to the friends I was sitting with was that a few years earlier in Pizzo, they had tried to cheat me with the price twice. I have to say that the food is good, both the pizza and the chicken, but the bill remains the real price. When it came time to pay the bill, the man who had greeted us showed up with the classic handwritten note: TOTAL 300 euros. After a quick calculation, we immediately realized there was a problem, and the waiter who did the calculations told us that we hadn't even been charged for the children's first courses (2/3 penne with tomato sauce). So, already with our previous experience, we asked for the itemized bill, and then, like magic, the first courses appeared again. To avoid unnecessary words, I looked at the menu and realized that the wines we ordered had been increased in price to bring the bill to the round figure of 300... APPLAUSE for the third time... COCIS, BRILLIANT IN THE KITCHEN AND PHENOMENAL AT COUNTING... Of course, as soon as we pointed this out, they justified themselves by saying that the menus had been poorly designed and the bill had been adjusted... OBVIOUSLY. With this I just want to make a note to the managers of this place, you are good at cooking and you have a beautiful place, so you absolutely must not risk incurring any fines or anything else, to recover a few more euros it is not worth it and ABOVE ALL THE CUSTOMER IS SACRED... he is the one who goes where he is treated well and does not deserve to be cheated

19/07/2025: Sara och Antonio som driver Caffè del Corso är mycket trevliga. Deras glass och tartufo är riktigt bra. Antonio gör egen bergamottlikör som han gör goda spritz av.

11/08/2025: Ho fatto un buonissimo aperitivo con 2 aperol spritz squisiti, insieme a questi 2 drink portano del cibo calabrese a quantità si può dire molto saziante, prezzo giusto per la lacation situata nell’affaccio a dir poco più conosciuto e più bello di Tropea ci torneremo sicuramente, staff molto professionali gentili e molto simpatici e titolare molto simpatico e gentile .

07/08/2025: Per un dolce al tartufo e un amaro, abbiamo pagato la modica cifra di 15€.Non potevamo crederci...hanno incluso 2 coperti.Siamo rimasti senza parole...

19/07/2025: da cece , ristorante posizionato in una zona suggestiva di Tropea vicina al belvedere. Si mangia bene ; il proprietario gentile dalla dizione apolide, abbiamo mangiato bene le tante paste proposte preparate per bene il cerruzzo buono , un po’ costoso. Caponata di spada buona. Sufficiente la scelta dei vini. L’ombrellone protettivo dei tavoli limita la fantasia dei commensali e riduce la suggestione del posto. Il servizio lento . Nel complesso i proprietari ospitali , si può fare di più

19/07/2025: Ottimo cibo preparato con cura e dedizione valorizzando le materie prime di prima scelta. Gli spaghetti ai moscardini sono il punto di forza. La caponata di spada una delizia. Il cerruzzo è uno sfizio prelibato. Non c'è abbastanza tempo per descrivere tutto il resto. La cantina da ampia scelta per tutti i palati. Ma la vera forza è lo staff di sala e cucina. Fortemente raccomandato. Bravi tutti

Desde hace bastante tiempo, he tenido el placer de visitar este restaurante todos los días – para el desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena – y cada vez estoy muy impresionado. Las comidas que se sirven son siempre frescas, sabrosas y se presentan con atención a cada detalle. El menú es variado y los sabores refinados – aquí se puede ver una verdadera pasión por la cocina. El personal es extremadamente educado, amable y servicial - hacen que cada huésped se sienta especial. La limpieza de las habitaciones y de toda la instalación merece los mayores elogios: todo está perfectamente cuidado y ordenado. Este lugar crea un ambiente increíble y acogedor – usted puede sentirse muy relajado y cómodo aquí, al igual que en casa. No es solo un hotel y restaurante, es un espacio lleno de calidez, paz y buenas emociones. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que esté buscando no solo comidas sabrosas, sino también un lugar único para relajarse. ¡Es una experiencia a la que querrás volver todos los días!

21/09/2025: No, we can't recommend this place. The wine was okay, but otherwise... A menu with interesting dishes at moderate prices hangs outside the restaurant. In the almost empty restaurant, we were given a list of two completely different starters, first and second courses, each with no prices. No other dishes or side dishes were offered. We ordered scaloppine and sea bream and, without further ado, received three thin slices of meat in unseasoned tomato sauce with four olives, as well as a soft, breaded piece of frozen fish with a shredded lettuce leaf and a lemon wedge. The bill, which we only received after asking at the reception, listed two set menus at a fixed price of €15 each. When we ordered, no menu price was mentioned, and we received what appeared to be appetizer-sized main courses.

14/07/2025: Grandioso. Vera cucina locale e piatti tipici. Fatti artigianalmente, una di quelle trattorie che speri di trovare quando cerchi un locale tipico. Trovati per caso e siamo felici di esserci fermati. Super consigliato:)

12/07/2025: Di solito scrivo una recensione solo se positiva, ma quando un cliente si lamenta e non riceve nemmeno una spiegazione o un "mi dispiace", allora forse con una recensione scritta forse viene ascoltato. Ho chiesto un piatto che nel menu viene descritto come "filetto di maiale con costine", invece mi è stato servito una carne che sembrava una braciola divisa in due, dura e piena di nervi, immangiabile. Non ho mai visto un filetto di maiale con l'osso. Le costine ovviamente erano metà grasso, quindi nel totale avrò mangiato l'equivalente ad una piccola bisteca. Oltre che dura la carne aveva un retrogusto di leggermente scaduta. Inoltre abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora per ogni piato. Il locale era pieno e ci sta un'attesa un po' più lunga, ma mezz'ora è tanto. Capisco che in un posto di mare si mangia meglio il pesce, ma allora forse è meglio lasciar perdere la carne. Ci hanno dato un sconto di 3 euro per l'accaduto...

24/07/2025: Beautiful setting with very friendly service in a family atmosphere. Excellent food, stunning views, and a Zen garden that truly offered peace and relaxation. A private beach with loungers and a bar, very clean sea, and a beach bar. Everything was perfect. We will definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
