15/07/2025: At this restaurant, we found a great deal of care and passion throughout. The restaurant, which also offers outside seating, is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. The walls feature several very interesting quotes. The menu offers something for every taste, which the owner explains (upon request) with great passion and a meticulous selection of ingredients. The service was excellent, with reasonable waiting times between courses and a focus on the well-being of diners. If you're passing through Rende, we recommend stopping here for a quality lunch (or dinner).

12/07/2025: Se siete alla ricerca del miglior ristorante di pesce nella zona di Belvedere Marittimo, il Sabbia d’Oro è una tappa obbligata. Affacciato direttamente sul mare, regala una vista incantevole che fa da cornice perfetta a un’esperienza culinaria davvero memorabile. Il menù è un inno al mare, con primi piatti che lasciano il segno: gli gnocchi Sabbia d’Oro e il Giallomare sono vere specialità della casa, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi e un equilibrio di sapori che conquista al primo assaggio. Ogni piatto riflette la qualità della materia prima e la maestria in cucina, con il pesce che è sempre fresco, selezionato e cucinato con cura. Ma ciò che rende il Sabbia d’Oro davvero speciale è anche il servizio impeccabile: veloce, professionale, ma al tempo stesso caloroso e accogliente. Il personale sa come metterti a tuo agio fin dal primo momento, con quel tocco di attenzione che ti fa sentire davvero “a casa”, pur mantenendo sempre uno standard elevato. 29/07/2025: Truly a perfect place, it feels like you're having a barbecue at your own country house, using only their own produce. The cuts of meat are exceptional, not to mention the wine. I highly recommend it.

24/07/2025: It's literally a true agriturismo, serving only their own produce. Vegetables, meats, cured meats, and cheeses are all top-quality. They don't offer first courses or desserts. The location is casual but welcoming. All the dishes are excellent value. Highly recommended! Reservations are recommended, as there aren't many outdoor seating areas. -- We returned a year later. The meat remained top-notch, and they've added traditional desserts like Pizzo truffle. We'll be happy to return in the coming days.

13/07/2025: Primera vez en esta joya de restaurante limpia, luminosa y encantadora. La masa de la pizza era perfecta, el pescado frito estaba muy bueno, fresco y nada grasoso. El personal fue amable y eficiente. Amplio menú que se centra en el pescado y la pizza. ¿Quién necesita algo más?

02/08/2025: Ottima cena a base di pesce: abbiamo mangiato antipasto di mare, grigliata mista di e polpo alla griglia con cipolla di tropea, rucola e pomodorino pachino. Consigliatissima l’impepata di cozze con i profumatissimi limoni di Rocca Imperiale e per chiudere in bellezza liquore alla liquirizia di Calabria preparato da Carlo in persona. Lui e Chiara sono molto simpatici e accoglienti, porzioni abbondanti e un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Assolutamente consigliato!

19/07/2025: Dopo aver sentito parlare (in positivo) di questo locale, abbiamo deciso di recarci qui anche noi. La nostra buonissima cena è iniziata con un ricchissimo antipasto della casa fatto di pietanze calde e fredde e fritti misti. Dopo l'antipasto, nonostante fossimo già sazi, abbiamo deciso di continuare con un primo (mezze maniche con crema di patate e guanciale) e un secondo, baccalà fritto con pepi cruschi. Tutto buonissimo, delizioso! Abbiamo bevuto un vino rosato della casa e come fine pasto abbiamo mangiato un ottimo tiramisù. Conisgliato a tutti quelli che hanno voglia di provare la cucina tipica. IN ultimo, ma non meno importante, il personale è gentilissimo (cosa non scontata). Da provare!

13/07/2025: Trattoria in una zona "storica" della città. Piatti tipici della tradizione ben eseguiti, porzioni abbondanti. Molto buono sia l'antipasto che la giancaleone, ma in generale sono stati apprezzati tutti i piatti!

13/07/2025: Siamo stati in 4 in questo locale, location molto bella. La carne aveva un aspetto eccellente ma avevamo voglia di pizza. L'ordine è stato preso da quello che credo fosse il caposala (un ragazzo con barba e occhiali ) che è stato molto sgarbato, ha preso l'ordine come se ci stesse facendo un favore, a voce senza scrivere nulla (e fino a qui nessun problema), non fosse che su l'ordine sono stato sbagliati sia gli antipasti che una pizza su 4. Su gli antipasti, ce li siamo fatti andare bene lo stesso, ma della pizza è stata fatto presente. Sempre lo stesso capocameriere, quando abbiamo fatto notare che la pizza non era quella ordinata si è stranito dicendo "io ho scritto plomo". Alla domanda "ma scritto dove?" è diventato "voi avete detto plomo". In definitiva la pizza devo dire era mediocre, ma non cattiva e questa sarebbe stata un recensione da una stella se non fosse che la ragazza che era al desk e uno dei camerieri (un ragazzo rasato con l'orecchino) sono stati talmente gentili verso la fine della cena da far recuperare 2 punti. Valorizzate i membri dello staff che lo meritano

01/07/2025: A great place for a quick but tasty bite to eat. The paninis are well-filled and the bread is crusty, the potatoes are crunchy and not greasy, and the pizza has a good flavor and a thin crust. Great atmosphere and fast service. Recommended!

05/04/2025: Elena's pizzeria is a real corner of paradise! The pizzas are amazing, with a light and fragrant dough and always fresh and tasty toppings. Every time I go there, I feel pampered, both for the quality of the food and for the familiar and welcoming atmosphere that Elena manages to create. If you want to spend an evening full of good food and friendliness, this pizzeria is the perfect choice!

04/05/2025: The greatest value of the place is the incredible welcome and helpfulness of the owner. We were there for a sporting event and were pampered and looked after like we were family. The place has enormous potential, quiet and panoramic location with a large restaurant room. The rooms are simple and very clean, the beds comfortable. Some areas are currently being modernized and I believe that little by little some of the furnishings in the rooms will also be modernized. Super affordable prices. The welcome and hospitality are impeccable and worth the trip.

20/04/2025: I had lunch with my daughter on Easter day in this lovely farmhouse surrounded by nature. We ate very well, from the appetizer to the coffee, everything was good and of good quality. To underline the courtesy and kindness of Mr. Franco who welcomed us. Furthermore, the price is very honest, we will definitely return.
