29/04/2026: We visited Tre Cipolle sul Comó for a dinner for two, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The restaurant is truly unique, with meticulous attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. Upon arrival, the hostess greeted us with great kindness and attention, immediately putting us at ease. The dinner was accompanied by two glasses of Brenda red wine, an elegant and well-structured wine with smooth, enveloping notes that paired perfectly with all the dishes, enhancing their flavors without ever overpowering them. We began with two truly original and well-balanced appetizers: veal meatballs served with yellow date tomatoes and black olives, a surprising blend of sweet and savory; and a velvety hummus, enriched with a delicate red fruit powder and an infused oil that perfectly enhanced the flavor. For our first courses, we were impressed by the stroncatura with anchovies, sun-dried tomatoes, and green olives, a rich and bold dish, and by the tomato risotto with mozzarella cream and burnt lemon powder, truly creative, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The second courses were equally impressive: artichokes accompanied by béarnaise sauce, an elegant and sophisticated dish, and a gratinated onion soup with caciocavallo silano and toasted bread, warm, enveloping, and rich in flavor. Every dish was meticulously crafted, both in its presentation and in its flavorful interpretation. We highly recommend this culinary experience to anyone looking for something unique in a refined yet familiar setting. An added value worth highlighting is that the restaurant is also a purple dot: an important sign of attention, sensitivity, and social commitment to the safety and support of women. This aspect makes this place not only beautiful and delicious, but also meaningful. We'll definitely be back!

14/05/2026: We're still sitting here as I write this review. The wine wasn't served cold, but the bottle was given an ice pack and chilled in no time. The wine is delicious, though. The appetizer platter, both hot and cold, was huge and absolutely delicious. The spaghetti aglio e olio with prawns was served with spaghetti linguine—not the classic style, but not just a handful of prawns either—and it was also tasty. All in all, we would definitely go back, as the price/performance ratio is absolutely fine. It's not your typical tourist trap, and there are lots of Italian families there.

30/04/2026: Restaurant-pizzeria on State Road 106, the main road in the area, with a private parking lot in front for customers, very convenient for parking. A modern and sophisticated atmosphere, recently renovated to give it that extra touch of character. It has an indoor dining area and an outdoor one for weather permitting. Traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation, fresh, quality ingredients, beautifully presented dishes, and super affordable prices! The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven. A variety of wines are available, as well as a wide selection of spirits, including some premium bottles! The friendly and helpful staff makes you feel at home. Excellent place, definitely worth a visit if you're visiting the Ionian coast of Calabria!

18/05/2026: On the occasion of the feast of the Madonna di Capo Colonna, my daughter went on vacation to Crotone, where she discovered the excellence of gluten-free products. Since I wasn't there with her, she told me every day about her food discoveries, which didn't seem concrete, slimy, or elastic like gluten-free products can be. We received the diagnosis when she was already a young girl (14 years old), so she had grown up with gluten-rich flavors. "MOM, IT MAKES ME WANT TO CRY," she said. She was so happy, and we were so happy to see her enthusiastic about the products she tasted. Thank you so much to the people who dedicated so much passion and hard work to making my daughter's dream come true. "Eating croissants like the ones I remembered...." THANK YOU!!!

28/05/2026: Service was very attentive, very good. Food was not great, not terrible. 2 of 5 stars. Insalata mista was good, fish fairly ok and pork not so good. Nice, cold beer And tasty wine. Atmosphere is not very good with bright florescent lights and a tv blaring. They should turn down the bright lights and play some nice music, not a tv.

The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend the dish of the day or a good local wine, making the experience even more authentic. The real highlight is the food. The cuisine is a tribute to tradition: bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and expertly executed recipes. A word of warning: go on an empty stomach!
