01/01/2026: I've been following the restaurant on social media for a while and have always had a great impression; for this reason, I finally decided to book for New Year's Eve. Let me start by saying: I'm aware that events of this type, with very large seating capacity, make it extremely difficult to maintain a high level of quality in the kitchen. I'm sorry to have to report this, but unfortunately, all four people at our table have been experiencing intestinal problems, including abdominal pain and diarrhea, since this morning. I hope this is an isolated incident. Regarding the evening itself, we enjoyed the entrée, particularly the whipped truffle butter accompanied by a selection of sandwiches. The appetizer, however, was rather disappointing: some dishes were pleasant, while others had less-than-convincing flavors. The first course, a turnip risotto, seemed excessively bitter and unbalanced, despite the otherwise very pleasant addition of candied lemon. The dish also included clams, but out of four portions, we only saw one or two, and they were only on one of our plates. The second first course, tortellone with porcini mushrooms, was truly excellent and, unfortunately, the only dish that fully met my expectations for this restaurant. Next came the second course: golden tuna with popcorn and salted caramel. The description already sounded very interesting, but it turned out to be perhaps the least popular of the entire dinner. It seemed unbalanced and designed more to impress on paper than to actually work on the palate. The fried tuna was excessively heavy, while the salted caramel, popcorn, and abundant potato cream didn't quite harmonize. The only aspect I genuinely appreciated was the quality and cooking of the tuna, which I could only appreciate after removing the outer browning. The service was generally acceptable, although the cutlery wasn't replaced between courses, and on a few occasions we had to wait with our plates already on the table. These oversights can happen, especially on such busy evenings.

04/12/2025: "Al pesce fuori d’acqua" isn't cheap, but the quality/price ratio is absolutely justified by the freshness of the fish, the excellent service, and the splendid location. It's the ideal place for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. Highly recommended!

10/09/2025: Vacation for a large family of 7. We went for dinner and came back the next day for lunch. The best fried seafood I've ever had. And then... let's talk about the delicious fried calzone!!! And the first courses were delicious too.

12/02/2026: Surrounded by greenery. Within a beautifully maintained park. Nature surrounds you in silence. Very spacious, warm, and welcoming room. Bathroom with a large, bright shower. The evening was enlivened by an excellent dinner featuring local products. The discreet and kind owner offered us a delicious caciocavallo cream with vegetables. A fireplace warmed the room with spectacular flames. After a restful night's sleep in silence, a hearty breakfast kicked off a new day.

01/01/2026: Super friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous rooms. Perfect climate and setting. A farmhouse surrounded by greenery, a natural oasis for nature lovers. Highly recommended!

28/02/2026: I've been to this place 3 times and I have to say that I noticed the same thing all 3 times: they never change the paper placemats and this is already a horrible thing, it seems that Covid has taught us nothing. Hygiene comes first, also because the prices are high anyway... I had 1 pinsa and 1 mixed fried meat and an already opened bottle of water that they give you from the fountain and this is another absurd thing, the water must be closed anyway, it cost 29 euros just for a pinsa, a mixed fried meat and 1 bottle of water from the fountain and this seems a lot to me especially considering the fact that the receipt said 14 euros for the pinsa, 9 euros for the mixed fried meat, 4 euros for the cover charge and 2 euros for the water... I mean, you make me pay for the cover charge and you don't even change the tablecloth, absurd. The food is not bad but I'm sorry I won't be back again.

21/02/2026: Unfortunately, today it was the only place open in the center of Scalea for lunch, and there was no one there—a bad omen. I ordered a pizza capricciosa, and strangely, they brought it with sausage and not ham. Well, given my hunger and my rush, I overlooked it, also had a small beer, and paid €19. I checked the receipt, and the pizza alone cost me €14. I later discovered that the pizza actually cost €10. I learned a lesson: never go into an empty place, always ask for the menu, always check the receipt, and if necessary, dispute it.

03/01/2026: Courtesy and kindness are the hallmarks of this place. Guests are pampered upon arrival with warm pancakes. Traditional dishes are carefully prepared. Delicious desserts. Excellent value.

30/11/2025: Passed through this town and got lunch at this restaurant. This was a very authentic experience. The people at the restaurant were all locals, working class people looking for a good bite to eat at a good price. The meatballs were the best I have ever had in my life. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy but a reminder of why Italy prides itself on amazing food.

08/02/2026: I've been a YOGURT CITY customer forever! But for a few months now, the staff has been less than friendly.

29/01/2026: The yogurt is really good; you can taste it's well-made, and the staff is always very friendly. The atmosphere is nice—nothing particularly fancy, but well-organized. My only small criticism, which I hope can be a starting point for improvement, is the lack of fresh fruit to add to the yogurt. I consider it a healthy snack that I indulge in every now and then, and I'd love to have this option instead of the usual, very sugary toppings. Aside from that, I have nothing to criticize: it's still an excellent yogurt shop!
