01/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve dinner at this restaurant and it was a truly excellent experience. The food was top-notch, with attention to detail, from the aperitif to the coffee. The service was impeccable: professional, attentive, and always available, the staff made us feel welcomed and pampered throughout the evening. The comfortable and elegant setting made the atmosphere even more pleasant and relaxing. A perfect place for special occasions. Highly recommended!

Try the Sicilian Pidoni, the arancini, and, during this time of year, the rice salad. Then there's the lasagna, which is fabulous. Also try the stew.
06/02/2026: A simple, clean, and unpretentious place on a side street between Via Garibaldi and the Lungomare promenade. We stopped for lunch and loved it so much we came back the next evening!
The pitoni and eggplant meatballs were spectacular, all washed down with a good Messina beer. The staff is incredibly friendly and approachable, making you feel right at home. The prices are very fair.
If you're looking for a true, old-fashioned rotisserie, this is the place to go.

04/03/2026: It's 2026, and I find it truly inconceivable to walk into a bar, especially in the city center and very popular, and not find a single lactose-free or vegan option.
In 2026, attention to intolerances and diverse dietary needs should be the norm, not the exception. The complete lack of alternatives demonstrates a lack of sensitivity to a segment of the clientele that is anything but marginal today.
A disappointing experience. Negative rating, I don't recommend it.

I ordered takeout from the Dune-Buggy restaurant and was truly surprised: for the first time, I ate a soft, flavorful sandwich made with top-quality ingredients, not the usual dry or makeshift bread.
The pizza was also a wonderful confirmation: soft and light dough, not the biscuity texture that unfortunately often occurs with gluten-free versions.
Highly recommended, especially for those with special dietary needs!

You put a lot of effort into your work, and we were all very satisfied. Congratulations again, your restaurant will be my first stop as soon as I return to Gioiosa.
Wonderful location! In the heart of Gioiosa! Everything was well-curated, down to the smallest detail! A true Gioiosan excellence! EXCELLENT food!
10/10/2025: This was close to where I was staying, so we went twice. The food was excellent. The new owners have redone the place and the appearance is very pleasing. There is almost always a party or wedding on weekends, which adds to the festive atmosphere.
I had the seafood, and the pizza. Both were done to perfection.

04/12/2025: Nice place but the pizza needs to be reviewed the pizza chef is always nervous and agitated when I speak he spits smoke near the oven hand we don't even talk about it you can see it when the door of the pizzeria is opened to enter the kitchen the cleanliness is not top notch I apologize for all these words or simply said my experience and I want to share it with all of you

03/01/2026: It was my first time at this restaurant, and inspired by the many positive reviews, I wanted to try it for my birthday, so we went with my sweetheart. We had a great time, and the food was delicious, starting with the appetizer, which had several courses, all cooked very well and with care (personally, I would make the gnocchi with less oil because I couldn't finish them all). Otherwise, we had a great time, and the service was truly impeccable, and they even gave us excellent wine recommendations. I'm very satisfied.
