27/07/2026: This is the fourth consecutive year we've stayed at Al Crepuscolo for a week or two. We can't live without it. Everything is excellent: the location, the rooms, the service. The real strengths are the cuisine, which combines local culinary culture with innovative, original recipes, elegantly and imaginatively presented, along with the warm hospitality of the three delightful managers, who truly pamper their guests. We're already planning a fifth year.

04/07/2026: While riding our motorcycles along the beautiful SS92, we arrived in Potenza and, not knowing where to stop for lunch, we accidentally chose Antica Osteria Marconi. It was a delightful discovery! Everything was excellent, from the quality of the ingredients to the service, always attentive and friendly. A special thank you for their helpfulness: since I needed to eat the meat without seasoning, they accommodated my request without any problem, serving me a magnificent entrecôte cooked to perfection. You can tell they pay great attention to their customers and show a lot of passion in the kitchen. The prices are absolutely reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the food served. If you're passing through Potenza, especially after a nice motorcycle ride, I highly recommend stopping here. We'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

10/08/2026: We had dinner on Friday. The charcuterie and cheese platter was exceptional, as were the steak, the tagliata with crusco peppers, and the grilled vegetables. Everything was expertly recommended by Nicola, the owners' son, who welcomed us and pampered us until the end of our dinner. TOP. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

19/08/2026: Preface to the review: this isn't a criticism, but rather a piece of advice to the management. If I were to rate the restaurant solely on the quality of the food, I'd give it five stars. The dishes reflect traditional Lucanian cuisine with small, but excellent, variations. The dessert that concluded the meal was superb. The restaurant is small but charming. My only criticism, and a significant one, is the complete lack of air conditioning or even a fan. I can assure you that eating there on August 13th, with 28 degrees outside and probably 30 degrees inside, wasn't the most pleasant experience. Once they have air conditioning, I plan to return. In conclusion, I recommend it with reservations. I'm giving four stars to the service due to minor errors in assigning dishes to the tables.

19/08/2026: Peppe's restaurant boasts a Michelin star, forgetting that courtesy and hospitality are essential requirements, along with the quality of the food. Accompanied by our 10- and 12-year-old children, we ventured to ask if they had a simple tagliata, after reading the menu, and were told that the menu available was the one listed and we were free to go if we wanted... believe me, we had no expectations. Stunned, we placed our order... truffle-filled egg, a platter of cured meats, homemade pickled vegetables... tagliolini with truffle, slow-cooked meat with truffle, and finally a chocolate block... The food quality was average... we had read about the meager quantities, but when faced with pickled vegetables, we decided that a Michelin-starred restaurant pales in comparison... Believe me, I've never seen such a miserable dish: two olives, a broccolini and a strip of aubergine... the dish was crying and the white dish demanded some other ingredient... perhaps Michelin imposes the misery... I DON'T BELIEVE IT... the bill was in line with what we ate but I suggest being more hospitable.

10/04/2026: On the way back, we stopped at a roadside shop. It turns out the shop doesn't open until 12 o'clock, but the owner, seeing how pitiful we were, opened an hour early so we could eat. It was delicious!

10/03/2026: This is a common take-away pasta place. They prepare pasta in the morning and sell them till evening so nothing wastes. The pasta is tasty, versions are interesting. 1 portion for 1 euro. Its a must visit for low-cost travelers
