03/06/2025: We were in this structure on June 2nd… what can I say?!?!? The amazing food all produced by them so at km 0… the welcome as soon as we arrived was of a courtesy that left us speechless… in my opinion every restaurateur should work in this way!!! I compliment the owners and I strongly recommend you to stop by if you are in those parts!!!

La gestione familiare ci ha permesso di vivere in serenità il weekend, soddisfando qualsiasi nostra necessità. Colazione e soprattutto cene ottime, con materie prime scelte e a km zero. Cucina casereccia e molto saporita. Ci siamo stati per poter visitare Basilicata Alpaca. Straconsigliato.

02/05/2025: Eravamo già stati in questa location per il nostro anniversario, ma siamo tornati ieri con amici. Cortesia ed educazione nonché il benvenuto da parte di Angelo sono encomiabili!!! Abbiamo mangiato tantissimo sino a scoppiare ...i prodotti sono a km 0 e genuini. L'agnello era favoloso!!! Abbiamo mangiato in modo eccellente!!! Ad ogni pietanza Angelo non ha mancato di introdurre le pietanze spiegandone i condimenti e prsentandole nel.piatto. Tutto è stato allegramente accompagnato da vino rosso del posto.... Ambiente amichevole e famigliare da parte di tutti gli operatori della locanda .. Luogo incantevole e location curata nei dettagli. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente!!! A presto Angelo 😄

07/07/2025: Recommended by friends, we went to dinner at this restaurant as a couple, we had two appetizers and two seafood risottos. Very poor appetizer as you can see from the photo, 3 marinated anchovies, 5 shrimp and some pieces of octopus (also quite hard) €16.00, decent risotto, 1/2 liter of low quality house wine €6.00, 1 natural water 0.75, 1 portion of fruit, all for the modest price of €81.50. As far as I'm concerned, an experience not to be repeated.

At Trattoria Sarricchio you are welcomed with a rare warmth and genuine kindness that makes you feel at home right away. The staff is attentive, helpful and smiling: an added value that makes the difference. But the real protagonist is the food, which tells the local tradition with an extraordinary quality. The seasonal vegetables are cooked with mastery, simple and tasty as in the best peasant tradition. The grilled scamorza is a masterpiece: crunchy on the outside, stringy on the inside, served hot and fragrant. The real love at first sight? The strascinati with breadcrumbs and Etruscan pepper: a typical first course of Lucanian tradition, executed to perfection. The rough pasta collects every crumb of the crunchy breadcrumbs, while the Etruscan pepper adds a touch of character and intensity. A dish that alone is worth the trip! I will definitely return, and I will recommend this trattoria to anyone who wants to savor the authentic soul of Basilicata.

02/06/2025: Very disappointing experience. I was served a dish I didn't order, the meat I asked for without scales arrived with scales, and the vegetables I ordered never arrived. As if that wasn't enough, a lady in a pink shirt came out of the kitchen and, instead of apologizing, insulted me in front of the other customers, saying she would offer me the bill as if I were "her brother". Who knows you? All accompanied by arrogant and out of place tones. Unacceptable and highly unprofessional behavior. I strongly advise against it.

30/06/2025: 📍This place is on the street where there are restaurants on the way to or from the Spanish Steps. I really don't understand why they exaggerate these pastas so much! My favorite thing in Rome was definitely Tiramisu, neither pizza nor pasta impressed me. I liked Neapolitan style pizzas more, for example. You can choose one of two types of pasta here, the portions are really filling. Since one of the options is with pork, you have to choose the vegetarian option, which is hard to eat thick and has a lot of pasta, potatoes, broccoli, etc. In short, you can eat it here if you want, of course, but I prefer sandwiches.
