13/09/2025: I speak as a customer and not as an executive chef,... The worst pizza restaurant I've ever eaten at. They tell me they don't have a SIMPLE PIZZA WITH POTATOES AND SAUSAGE on the menu (as if I had asked for truffles). We arrive at 9:15 pm and they bring us the pizzas at 11 pm after, the chips arrived after 20 minutes all stuck together, the oil was maybe 4/5 days old. They see the half-empty plates of the ordered pizzas. I must say, not a single waiter came over to say "Sir, is everything okay?" (REVOLTING). I AM TOLD AT THE CASH REGISTER EVERYTHING OK? Do you even ask???????????? POLITELY I REPORT ABSOLUTELY NO, disgusting pizza, the frozen packaged DESSERTS THROWN IN THE MICROWAVE FOR A MOMENT, for 5 PEOPLE and the place not even full €99 not even making a move to say ok 90 or I won't charge you for your pizza because it remained practically intact!! but why offered 2 boss's bitters eh!! ATTENTION, APOLOGIZE BECAUSE WE WERE THE LAST TABLE TO ARRIVE THAT ORDERED THE PIZZA!!!, BUT WHAT ARE YOU SAYING AT 9.15 PM YOU ARE IN FULL SERVICE I DIDN'T COME AT 11.30 PM ... PAINFUL.. DISGUSTING... INDECENT.. PRE-PACKAGED DESSERTS AND NOT EVEN REPORTED... FIRST TIME IN MATERA AND NEVER AGAIN IN THIS RESTAURANT.. FROM NIGHTMARE KITCHENS ..BUT AT LEAST you, the owner, MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION AND...TOTAL 99 (I WIDE EYES) I thought it would be 90.., but come on, round it up to 100 directly!! BUT SHAME ON YOU.. SHAME ON YOU....NEVER AGAIN IF YOU GO TO MATERA AVOID THIS KILIMANGIARO BECAUSE IT IS ALSO A RESTAURANT BUT IF IT CAN'T MAKE A SIMPLE POTATO AND SAUSAGE PIZZA, ARRIVED WITH RUBBER DOUGH, ROAST POTATOES ON TOP AND THE SAUSAGE OUTSIDE RAW INSIDE, THE WORST PIZZA EATEN IN 48 YEARS.....CHANGE JOB OR AT LEAST STOP MAKE PIZZAS ANYMORE!! 31/08/2025: Pasticceria Carlone has been my go-to shop in Nova Siri for years. The fresh pastries are excellent, but their highlight is undoubtedly their almond pastries: I won't describe them because the only way to understand is to try them! The icing on the cake? The owners' courtesy, always available and friendly.

13/09/2025: We went on the last Sunday they were open. We had a great time and the food was good.

16/08/2025: Wonderful beach. Plenty of space between the umbrellas, and the owners are friendly and available for any request. An oasis of tranquility and hospitality. Highly recommended!!!

23/08/2025: You make us ashamed of being from Matera, first of all, because it's true that Matera has become untouchable, and often unjustifiably so. Then it also makes us angry if we're the ones being ripped off. For two, we consume a small plate of carpaccio for €5, a microscopic platter of cured meats and cheeses for €10. So far, almost normal... But consuming a medium-sized rib-eye steak, because I didn't have the pleasure of seeing it being cut, of barely aged heifer, completely devoid of marbling, dry, €47... FORTY-SEVEN euros. Mineral water. Total €70. The next day I ate fish at a seaside restaurant in Puglia, a full meal for two for €75. Shame!!

01/06/2025: Pranzo da dimenticare.. 01.06. Il cameriere ha annotato la nostra comanda alle 14.. Ma aihme abbiamo dovuto attendere 2 ore per gustare un immangiabile raviolo cacio e pepe e uno spaghetto alle vongole( questo dal sapore buono). A una delle bambine (tra l'altro celiaca) è toccata una sorte peggiore.. Una pennetta al sugo completamente cruda(la cucina per azzittire le nostre bocche ha pensato di far uscire comunque la pasta dopo tutta quella attesa) . I camerieri non hanno avuto nemmeno la bontà di intrattenerci con acqua e pane.. La mia bimba per la fame ha mangiato tutto il pane gluten free della cuginetta. Ci siamo alzati affamati e pagando una cifra spropositata...ah dimenticavo.. Il ristorante cucina senza glutine ma bisogna aspettare che finisca di cucinare per tutti.. E dimenticatevi la cotoletta che è un must nel menù dei bambini se ci andate con un bimbo celiaco!

06/09/2025: A simply surreal experience. There were 12 of us, including 7 children, and we just wanted to order pizzas for dinner. I showed up at 7:30 PM to place my order and pay in advance: the response was, "We don't take orders. Come at 9:00 PM and we'll make them for you." Unusual, but I trusted them. At 9:00 PM I returned, hoping that at least the children could eat. The lady at the cash register—rude and clearly annoyed—didn't even have the courage to look in: she disappeared. After minutes of waiting, I asked the pizza chef, who started counting the dough balls and candidly told me, "I can't make them for you." No explanation, no alternative. Just a dismissal with, "Go ahead, there's another pizzeria." The result? A broken promise, no professionalism, total disorganization, and zero respect for families with children. I've never had a similar experience at any other pizzeria. If you want a quiet and reliable evening, the advice is only one: go elsewhere.

16/09/2025: Terrible experience. It felt like a coffee and beer bar that turned into a restaurant. Perhaps the worst place I've ever eaten. All the fish was definitely frozen and badly cooked. The service needs to be reconsidered, the wait staff definitely not up to the job they're supposed to do. The lobster packets should be renamed "some pacchero al pomodoro," the octopus tasted like chewing gum, the wine was even warm, the fried fish tasted like cardboard. We're talking about "nightmare kitchens." It's only worth a visit because it was the only restaurant open in town.

14/09/2025: The food? Who saw it?! The service? Terrible! The atmosphere? Screaming in the kitchen and bathroom, only for men and women, dirty! A terrible experience.

19/05/2025: Sunday lunch. Booked in advance. The place was packed beyond capacity, even blocking the wheelchair ramp. The food didn't arrive. After the appetizer, which wasn't enough for the number of people we were, we decided to leave. It was impossible to continue in that chaos and we had been at the table for almost two hours. The owner treated us terribly, very arrogant. We paid too much for the misery they brought us.

12/05/2025: It was an experience to forget. Since the restaurant was full, the staff immediately seemed very annoyed at having to be there, but apart from that, there is no menu so you eat what is told to you verbally without a price or an indication of allergens or whether it is frozen or not. After ordering, we first received the pasta with tomato sauce for the children (cold), then the appetizers in measly portions because, we discovered later, they had mixed up the table orders and so we ate (and paid) for a table of 8, but with portions for a table of 4. The worst is yet to come, in fact the second courses arrived before the first courses and despite this the meat was cold and we had to send it back because it tasted rancid, as if it had been cooked and left there. Disgusted, but still respectful and polite, we wanted to address the problem to the cashier, but avoiding unnecessary confrontations; except that the lady at the checkout started shouting, pointing at us and saying "they're waiting because they want to argue". Well dear lady, if we had wanted to argue we would have had every reason, because you don't give spoiled food to people, especially at a table with two two year old children. We (over)paid and left certain that you will never see us again because that's not how you work in a serious way, I'm sorry for other unfortunate people who, like us, will stumble upon your ineptitude.
