I went to this place for a buffet dinner which included a DJ set & drinks.
The place is really beautiful and refined, with attention to the smallest details. It is located among the stones of Matera so you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the landscape which offers a truly unique setting both during the day and in the evening. The venue has several large underground rooms all communicating with each other where you will have the pleasant sensation of losing yourself and finding yourself again. However, I don't want to describe it too much so as not to ruin the surprise for you. Dear Pietro will also take care of welcoming you with kindness, availability and elegance.

Wonderful location in the heart of the Sassi of Matera. We chose the tasting menu: food studied and cared for even in the plating. The only "criticism": I would venture more with the flavours.
Courteous and elegant but not intrusive service.
The owner eventually took us on a "tour" of the stone, showing us real works of art and hidden places in the restaurant.

The place is suggestive, the work carried out is certainly appreciable, but there are some aspects to review; first of all the service, which was approximate, without an explanation of the dishes. Furthermore, the tasting menu, for the asking price, should offer more, mainly in terms of the preparation of the courses.

Dedalo is gastro mythology in Matera!
This restaurant will not make you feel "at home" as they sometimes say... this restaurant will make you experience the myth of taste, and of the passion and professionalism put on the table by the owner and his staff.
The portions are well nourished and the dishes well presented, using local raw materials and recipes.
The final path in the Daedalus labyrinth accompanies you to the exit with a smile and the desire to return here.

Ottimi piatti e servizio attento e puntuale in una location unica. All'interno di questo autentico sasso il proprietario ha creato una vera e propria opera d'arte, che seguendo il filo di Arianna illustra ai suoi ospiti a fine cena a coronare piacevolmente l'esperienza da Dedalo. Consigliato

Locale incantevole. Servizio curato. Tavoli ben distanziati. Abbiamo optato per il menu degustazione terra: tra tutto, gli spaghettoni con fonduta di caciocavallo e peperoni cruschi molto ben fatti e sapori ben amalgamati. Alla fine della cena si è trasportati alla scoperta del locale che riserva delle sorprese. Cucina moderna in cui gli ingredienti sono rivisitati in maniera originale. Bella cantina.
